Abstract

At this time technological developments have a major influence on the development of tourism. This development was also followed by the development of hotel business in Riau Indonesia. Almost all cities are built by hotels, both big cities and small cities build one-star hotels to five-star hotels. The hotel business provides a fairly high profit, so that it can affect the income of the state and the surrounding community. But unfortunately, in order to increase hotel revenue, some hotels ignore the conditions for hotel visitors. Many hotels allow unmarried couples to spend the night. It is not surprising that many people say that hotels are places for immorality, gambling, liquor and drugs. In this case, providing opportunities for hoteliers to build hotels based on sharia. Methodology This research uses qualitative methods. Qualitative research is research that is used to study the state of natural objects, where the researcher is the main instrument. The purpose of qualitative research is to describe a phenomenon as deeply as possible by collecting the deepest data, which shows the importance of depth and detail of the data studied. Conclusion of this research is that 1. The employee recruitment process at the Riau sharia hotel chooses to use a closed method by prioritizing moral values (attitudes) and employee honesty. 2. Sharia hotel human resources in Riau Province have efficiency to improve employee performance. 3. that sharia hotels in Riau Province have the ability to improve employee discipline. 4. that the Syariah Hotel in Riau has conducted education and training. Training and development programs are one of the important activities that organizations invest in human resources

Abstract

Baitul Mal wat-Tamwil is one of the microcredit agencies introduced in Riau Region in 1987. The establishment of BMT in Riau is very easy and the number is quite a lot, it is 84 units. The manifestation of Baitul Mal wat-Tamwil continues to prevail and operate well. He is in charge of building a small peniaga. However, the facts show that some BMTs are inactive and problematic. The impression is that customer problems that require capital can not be solved because BMT does not have the ability to run its role as a micro credit agency. This study aims to identify the viability, strengths and weaknesses of microcredit agencies in fostering small traders in Riau Province. This study answers the following three issues: 1) What affects the power of Baitul Mal wat-Tamwil in carrying out its operations. A qualitative approach to severity studies was selected to refine and address the study question. Approach and method is chosen because he is able to answer the problem of study that wants to know the factor of business continuity Baitul Mal wat-Tamwil. The structured technique is used to collect data from nine BMT executives who share their experiences in carrying out the DGH operation. The data has been analyzed by fostering themes and categories to answer the study questions. The findings of the study found that the factors that power Baitul mal wat Tamwil are: 1) Smaller trading pedestal, 2) labor cooperation

Abstract

The rising growth of modern markets such as Hypermarket, Supermarke Departmen Store, and many more are creating considerable challenges for small and medium-sized retailers. In addition to large capitalization of funds, massive promotions through print and electronic media are able to attract the attention and interest of the community to visit their sales locations. compared to retailers who can only expect the loyalty of their customers only. This research is a case study using qualitative descriptive methodology. The research respondents are successful retail entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru city. The number of selected traditional retailers is 10 people, consisting of five retailers of nine basic commodities (sembako) and five clothing retailers. This study aims to find the jawapaban factor of sustainability of traditional retail business in Pekanbaru City. The findings of this research is one of the factors of traditional retail business in Pekanbaru City is a good communications pact retail business with customers, merchandise location factors and management factors swers to the commercial life of traditional retailers

Abstract

One of the micro-finance agency, is Baitul Mal wat-Tamwil considered as Islamic micro finance agencies that can provide financial services to people with low income. Islamic micro finance agencies in the past have always shown considerable achievements in terms of quantity, the contribution of the absorption of labor power to the gross national income, so that efforts to empower communities through the development of its own capabilities and social and economic institutions that can reach and serve more communities business unit that can not be reached directly by the general banking or Islamic banking. Looking a t the development effort, it is necessary to network  better security, so that the existence of Baitul Mal wat-Tamwil increasingly powerful, healthy and sustainable. The methodology used in this study kuaalitatif approach. This study shows that there are some factors that affect the sustainability of the BMT Kemaheran Access Capital, Ability to resolve problems pembayaranbalik, strict control function, Employee Collaboration (teamwork), Willing and Challenges Facing obstacles and Supply of Human Resources.

Abstract

Pengusaha rumah tangga (home industri) bisa disebut sebagai  individu yang menjalankan bisnis, dan mampu melaksanakan tugas, tanggung jawab, dan upaya mereka dalam dalam meningkatakan pendapatan, karena mereka di dirangsang oleh program-program lembaga zakat yang banyak jumlahnya di Pekanbaru. terutama bagi mereka yang tergolong miskin. Ajaran islam sangat memperhatikan dan mengistimewakan mereka golongan miskin itu dengan konsep zakat. Sebab dengan memanfaatkan dana zakat secara produktif mampu membantu dan mensukseskan usaha golongan masyarakat miskin. Dengan kata lain pemberian modal dengan memanfaatkan dana zakat mampu menghindari mereka dari jebakan sistem riba yang dikembangkan oleh institusi keuangan mikro lain atau pihak rentenir yang menjadikan mereka sebagai lahan subur untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka. disamping itu  pendayagunaan dana zakat bertujuan untuk menghapus ketergantungan golongan miskin terhadap zakat. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan (observasi) yang peneliti lakukan banyak sekali para pengusaha industri rumah tangga (home industri) yang cukup berhasil, oleh karena itu, mereka yang berhasil itu menjadi perhatian peneliti, sebab mereka itu adalah penerima dana zakat produktif yang mereka kembangkan, namun mereka masih terdapat kelemahan dan kekurangan dari berbagai aspek manajemen. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik mengangkat masalah ini untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang berkonstribusi terhadap kesuksesan pengusaha industri rumah tangga (home industri) di Pekanbaru ini. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dalam kaedah kualitatif. Data yang diperlukan dikumpul melalui wawancara secara langsung kepada beberapa orang pengusaha industri rumah tangga yang memperoleh bantuan modal dari program lembaga zakat di Kota pekanbaru. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunujukkaan bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang berkonstribusi terhadap kesuksesan para pengusaha industri rumah tangga di Pekanbaru diantaranya : adalah faktor karakter,  pengalaman berusaha dan pengamalan ajaran Agama. dari faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi  modal dan tidak berputus asa

Abstract

Waqf has a social function that can provide great benefits to the community, both Muslims and non-Muslims if it can be managed productively and optimally. Even though the government has supported the production of waqf by issuing Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf. Since the issuance of the regulation, there has been no significant progress in managing waqf in a productive direction that can develop the people's economy. Basically, waqf is something that must be produced that produces economic value, but in essence not many waqf are managed productively for economic empowerment. The research methodology uses qualitative methods. This method was chosen to ensure that the reviewer can understand the concept and can see the problem from various angles, especially from the inner point of the phenomenon itself. This is because qualitative studies are more understanding, describing and explaining phenomena (Merriam, 1998) in Mohd Fuad (2006). The findings of this study reveal that the waqf management system in Riau Province is still traditional, Nazir in managing waqf assets does not work full time, unpaid side work, is not touched by socialization, waqf management is still consumptive and unprofessional.

No wonder many people say that the hotel is a place of immorality, gambling, alcohol and drugs. In this case, it provides opportunities for sharia entrepreneurs to build sharia-based hotels. Not only to change the bad image of hotels, sharia-based hotels have a mission to change people's mindsets and create social order in society. With an increase in sharia-based hotel investment, it is hoped that it can improve the moral quality of religious people and uphold the noble culture of the Riau people. Methodology This study uses a qualitative method. Qualitative research is research that is used to study the state of natural objects, where the researcher is the main instrument. The purpose of qualitative research is to describe a phenomenon as deeply as possible by collecting the deepest data, which shows the importance of depth and detail of the data studied. The conclusion of this study is that sharia compliance in sharia hotel management in Riau Province is quite good, especially from the aspect of service ethics in accordance with sharia principles. Hotels with sharia nuances that are used in the management, services and facilities provided can be an attraction for potential consumers or Muslim tourists

Abstract

Online marketing media with creative and educational displays containing comprehensive information about prices, promotions, product quality, and secure payment methods have captured consumer interest. However, not everyone is inclined to make purchases on online platforms due to distrust or uncertainty. Additionally, difficulties in online transactions and concerns about receiving incorrect orders contribute to consumer hesitancy. To continuously attract consumer interest in online shopping, online business practitioners are required to employ various effective and efficient online marketing (digital marketing) strategies. This applies not only to online entrepreneurs but also to traditional entrepreneurs in the city of Pekanbaru, Riau Province. Presently, numerous online product ordering applications offer various promotions and service conveniences to indulge consumers. With just a smartphone, consumers can conveniently order desired products to be delivered to their addresses and pay upon the arrival of the goods. This research analyzes the extent of the influence of online marketing on consumer decisions to purchase products in traditional retail stores in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The conclusion of this research indicates that changes in marketing can be made in four aspects: product changes involve providing goods that meet the needs and arranging them in an orderly and attractive manner. Price changes include setting prices according to market affordability and offering price options. Promotion changes involve word-of-mouth promotions, advertising placements, discounts, and gifts. Service and facility changes include improvements in friendly and polite services, providing comfortable spaces, and offering credit purchase facilities
