Abstract

The success of a job in a construction project is inseparable from the presence of labor. In its implementation, the level of labor productivity is very important in order to provide maximum results. In the construction project of the education center building, faculty of social and political sciences phase 1 of Hasanuddin University, research was carried out with the aim of determining labor productivity, especially in ironing and column formwork. This research was conducted using a descriptive analysis method, namely a direct survey in the field to obtain labor productivity in ironing and column formwork after that compared with SNI 7394 – 2008. From the results of the analysis of labor productivity in ironing and column formwork work, the average productivity value of artisans for column ironing work is 164.585 kg / person / day while column formwork work is 5.748 m2 / person / day. For productivity based on SNI, the productivity of column ironing work was 142,857 kg / person / day while column formwork was 3,030 m2 / person / day.

Abstract

One of the things that affect when doing the reverse movement is the speed of the vehicle where the vehicle will experience a slowdown or stop (delay). This slowdown will affect the flow of traffic in the same direction. In certain vehicles, to make a U-turn movement you cannot directly make a rotation because the condition of the vehicle does not have sufficient turning radius, so that it will interfere with other vehicles and even stop both from the same direction and from the opposite direction that will be traversed. Therefore, research was carried out which aims to analyze the volume of U-Turn traffic, determine the length of the queue when making a U-Turn, and find out the delay time when making a U-Turn. To analyze the data, the PKJI 2014 method was used. From the results of this study, the traffic volume was 4356 cur/hour for the Maros-Makassar direction and 5776 for the Makassar-Maros direction, the highest queue length when making a U-Turn in front of Nipah Mall was 35 meters for for the direction of Maros - Makassar and 143 meters for the direction of Makassar - Maros, and the highest delay due to U-Turn is 4.21 seconds for the direction of Maros - Makassar and 7.17 seconds for the direction of Makassar - Maros.

Abstract

Scheduling in project implementation is very important to determine the work properly and correctly, therefore the construction of a project cannot be separated from scheduling in increasing project success. In houtilizing construction projects there is work that is done repeatedly or work with repetitive properties. The goal of this study is to compute the timing of the work of each unit of work. To get the outcomes of the timing of work in this study utilizing the Line of Balance (LoB) technique. This study is performed by field observation and calculating the timing of work from the volume value of each work unit. Based on the outcomes of the analysis performed for scheduling the project type 70/90 as many as 22 units, namely 1165 days or 3.2 years. This technique is effective because it displays production levels and time information in a graphical format so that it can figure out errors that happen.
