Abstract

The appIication off occupationaI heaIth and sahfety (K3) is never dry in the context of the scientific ocean. Either in an academic research or in a practical study. K3 issues are constantly raised in the discussion of academic papers, be it journals or final assignments. Of course, the "intersection" with the "knife" which is called "research". On this occasion, the focus of the researcher was the construction project work in the renovation of the South Sulawesi Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP) building using quantitative descriptive methods. Namely describing the application of K3 and analyzing the constrain ts in implementing K3 in the project. Statistical methods are used to determine the percentage of respondents' answers or calculated by formulas. The resuIts off research that hass been carriedt out in the building renovation project off the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP) of South Sulawesi regarding the implementation of Occupational Safety & Health (K3) are carried out quite well. The obstacle to the implementation of Occupational Safety & Health is the lack of awareness and knowledge of workers about Occupational Safety and Health (K3). In addition, the company is also less consistent in implementing Occupational Health and Safety.

Abstract

In the world of heavy equipment construction projects it is important to help complete human work. Tower Crane is one of the tools in the implementation of construction projects. In the implementation of the construction of Apartment 31 Sudirman Suites Makassar, there are 2 Tower Crane tools that operate with limited work time due to covid 19. This research was carried out by direct observation in the field and calculating the real value of the specifications to compare productivity. Tower Crane productivity is the result achieved or output, namely the amount of material moved by Tower Crane with all resources or inputs, namely the time required for material transfer. Based on the calculation results that the productivity of the specification is greater than the productivity of observations in the field, this is due to constraints on the weather that occurs and the equipment operator. For productivity, the average obtained on the 4th floor is 71,544 (%) and on the 5th floor it is obtained that is 73,727 (%).

Abstract

Mata Allo River is located in Enrekang, South Sulawesi. a river that has a fairly abundant source of aggregate material that has been used by the local community as a concrete-making material in the construction of small-scale construction. This study aims to determine the development of concrete strength based on concrete compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural strength, and modulus of elasticity in normal quality concrete mixtures based on variations in the Water Cement Factor (FAS), namely Variations 0,49, 0,52 and 0,55 where the variation with the highest compressive strength is used to further testing. The Mix Design method used is the American Concrete Institute (ACI) method with a design concrete quality of 25 MPa. From the results of the study, the highest strength value was found in the FAS variation of 0,49 with an average compressive strength of 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days, respectively, with a compressive strength of 16,977 MPa, 23,301 MPa, 25,276 MPa, and 26,691 MPa. The results of the research carried out, the characteristics produced from the Mata Allo river meet the SNI specification standard to be used as a concrete mixture.

Abstract

This study aims to find out productivity Hydraulic Static Pile Driver (HSPD) tool in Delft Apartment construction project and also to find out the impact of productivity pilling tool Hydraulic Static Pile Driver on the duration of pilling activities in the Delft Apartement construction project. This study was conducted by direct observation method on project area to get data depth of pilling and duration of work. Then analyzed to get productivity value on Hydraulic Static Pile Driver. The result of this study is the productivity resulting from pilling with Hydraulic Static Pile Driver 15,732 m/hour and the highest productivity value is 21,631 m/hour and the lowest productivity value is 14,933 m/hour. Productivity of Hydraulic Static Pile Driver tool is very impactful to the duration of work pilling. The higher the production value, the shorter the pilling duration, conversely the lower the production value, the longer the pilling duration.

Abstract

Concrete is the most widely used material as the main material in construction. As time progresses, human needs also increase, so in this study, wood waste was used into concrete mix with a normal concrete compressive strength value of 20 MPa using aggregate from the Jeneberang River. In this study, using sawdust waste to be utilized in concrete with variations of 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% with the aim of research to find out how the effect of sawdust waste into concrete mix with predetermined variations. The implementation method uses the SNI method by making test objects in the form of cylinders and blocks at the Indonesian Christian University Paul Laboratory. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the effect of sawdust waste mixed into the concrete mixture showed the value of the compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength of the concrete increased by 3% then decreased in variations of 6% and 9% but at the addition of 3% the strength value The compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength of concrete decreased compared to normal concrete.

Abstract

In the casting work of beams and plates on the 8th floor of the unhas FISIP Education Center building construction project using ready mix concrete produced in batching plants with dry mixed type which is then distributed to the project site using Hino Ranger FM 260 JM truck mixer capacity of 7 m3. The casting process uses a concrete pump tool with the IHI IPF100B-6N29 model with a capacity of 10-100 m3. This research was conducted to find out the effectiveness of the equipment used. From the results of the analysis conducted it can be known that the composition of the equipment used experienced a loss of production, especially in the truck mixer so that idle time occurred on the tool, therefore correction was made and from the results of calculations carried out it was proposed to reduce 3 units of truck mixers that previously there were 11 units used. Truck mixer reduction is done to reduce idle time on the equipment so that the tool can work more efficiently. From the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded that the composition of the equipment used has lost production, especially in truck mixers. Once corrected, it is proposed that the composition of the equipment is effective by reducing the use of truck mixers so as to reduce the waiting time (idle time) for pumping so that the performance of the tool can work more optimally.

Abstract

This observation was carried out in order to obtain data on the advantages of labor productivity and labor product (SNI). Human resources to the performance of project implementation and to obtain factors to establish the quality of such human resources. Primary data collection in the form of data taken in the field is data on the number of artisans and the production of handymen every day. The handyman who took the data was only 4 people. Secondary data were obtained from the drawings of the tidying work plan to compare the product of the field labor and the labor product of the labor force (SNI). The results of the study stated that field products increased by 3% compared to the SNI that had been carried out at the Trans Studio Mall Makassar Development Project, it can be concluded that labor productivity in column-fixing work is more productive.

Abstract

Solid waste from palm oil, namely the shell, can be used as industrial fuel and the rest of the combustion contains a lot of silica. The boiler ash produced from burning palm shells contains 61% silica. Ash from palm shell boilers is made by burning shells at temperatures between 300 and 500 °C. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using palm shell ash as a substitute for part of cement and river aggregates that is optimal on the strength of concrete. Jeneberang River as a place for coarse and fine aggregate retrieval carried out in this study. The results showed that the use of palm shell ash as a substitution of cement and river aggregates at variation 9& met the compressive strength value of plan concrete, while variations of 11% and 13% did not meet the compressive strength of plan concrete. At a variation of 0% to 13% the value of the tensile strength of concrete and bending strength decreases. The relationship of compressive strength with split pull in each variation meets the conditions where it ranges from 7% to 11% while compressive strength with bending strength is obtained the value of the coefficient x is getting smaller.

Abstract

The success of a job in a construction project is inseparable from the presence of labor. In its implementation, the level of labor productivity is very important in order to provide maximum results. In the construction project of the education center building, faculty of social and political sciences phase 1 of Hasanuddin University, research was carried out with the aim of determining labor productivity, especially in ironing and column formwork. This research was conducted using a descriptive analysis method, namely a direct survey in the field to obtain labor productivity in ironing and column formwork after that compared with SNI 7394 – 2008. From the results of the analysis of labor productivity in ironing and column formwork work, the average productivity value of artisans for column ironing work is 164.585 kg / person / day while column formwork work is 5.748 m2 / person / day. For productivity based on SNI, the productivity of column ironing work was 142,857 kg / person / day while column formwork was 3,030 m2 / person / day.

Abstract

Productivity as a measure of whether a project is implemented effectively and efficiently or not. Lack of awareness of productivity will be the cause of the low work produced resulting in large losses in the implementation of construction projects. To find out labor productivity in steelwork and installation of column formwork in the Airport Apartments project, the purpose of this study is to analyze labor productivity in column ironing and formwork installation in the Airport Apartment development project by comparing productivity in SNI. Data collection was carried out through direct surveys in the field by processing the data obtained. The data analysis method for calculating workforce performance uses a descriptive analysis method by calculating the productivity of each workforce. Based on the findings of the analysis and discussion carried out, it can be concluded from this study that the results of calculating the productivity of column work and comparing it with the reference (SNI 7394-2008) are accurate. It can be seen that the value of field productivity is 185.4333 Kg/Oh for iron work and 57 m²/Oh for formwork work. The productivity value according to SNI is 142.887 Kg/Oh for ironing work and 3.03 m²/Oh for formwork work. Then for comparison with references, there is a significant difference between field productivity and productivity calculated using references.
