Abstract

This community service program (PKM) is motivated by the low interest and limited skills in writing short stories among students of SMAN 7 Kota Serang, particularly those in Grade XII. These issues are influenced by the lack of regular practice in creative writing, the limited variety of instructional methods, and the minimal use of local wisdom as a source of literary inspiration. In fact, short story writing not only functions as a medium for developing literacy skills but also serves as a means to preserve local culture and strengthen students’ character.The objective of this program is to empower students through training in short story writing based on local wisdom, enabling them to produce creative, contextual, and meaningful literary works. The methods employed include interactive lectures, group discussions, writing practice, individual mentoring, work appreciation sessions, anthology publication, and evaluation. This program is implemented using a participatory approach so that students are not merely recipients of material but active subjects involved throughout the entire training process.The expected outcomes of this activity include improved student skills in short story writing, increased interest and motivation to create literary works, and the production of short stories that highlight values of local wisdom. In addition, this program provides benefits for teachers and the school by offering innovative strategies for teaching writing and strengthening literacy culture. Furthermore, the program is expected to contribute to the preservation of local wisdom through the literary works produced by students.Keywords: student empowerment; short story writing; local wisdom; literacy; PKM.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pengembangan instrumen pengukuran energi listrik berbasis ESP32 dengan integrasi sensor arus SCT013 dan sensor tegangan ZMPT101B. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan instrumen pengukuran baru untuk pemantauan dan analisis konsumsi energi listrik yang akurat, mudah digunakan, dan murah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu merancang perangkat keras dengan merakit sensor SCT013, ZMPT101B, ESP32 ke dalam satu rangkaian instrumentasi, merancang sistem perangkat lunak, dan menguji instrumen yang dikembangkan. Hasil pengujian pada beban resistif lampu pijar 100 W, 200 W, 300 W, dan 400 W menunjukkan bawa instrumen dapat mengukur energi listrik dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar (147,01±4,65) W, (215,53±6,45) W, (273,23±8,18) W, dan (322,85±9,59) W. Berdasarkan kalibrasi dengan alat standard, instrumen dapat mengukur dengan baik pada beban 200 W. Instrumen pengukuran energi listrik yang dikembangkan dapat menampilkan hasil ukur dengan baik pada smartphone/laptop menggunakan sistem IoT.

Abstract

Writing can be understood as the activity of processing ideas into written text that serves to convey information to others. In the context of communication, writing plays a crucial role because the clarity of message delivery is largely determined by the quality of the writing. However, in lecture practice, writing is often considered one of the most challenging forms of learning for students. This article was written with the aim of describing the level of ability of Electrical Engineering Study Program students in writing papers. The research approach applied is descriptive quantitative, where the data obtained are analyzed and presented systematically. The research subjects included all first-semester students of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, with class 01ELSM001 as the research sample. The measurement results showed that 20 students obtained scores above 90, while 10 others were below that score. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the ability to write scientific papers of class 01ELSM001 students of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Pamulang University, has met the classical learning completion standards set by the university, which is a minimum of 75.ABSTRAKMenulis dapat dipahami sebagai kegiatan mengolah gagasan menjadi teks tertulis yang berfungsi menyampaikan informasi kepada pihak lain. Dalam konteks komunikasi, tulisan memegang peranan penting karena kejelasan penyampaian pesan sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas tulisan tersebut. Meskipun demikian, dalam praktik perkuliahan, aktivitas menulis kerap dianggap sebagai salah satu bentuk pembelajaran yang paling menantang bagi mahasiswa. Artikel ini disusun dengan tujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Teknik Elektro dalam menyusun makalah. Pendekatan penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, di mana data yang diperoleh dianalisis dan disajikan secara sistematis. Subjek penelitian mencakup seluruh mahasiswa semester pertama Program Studi Teknik Elektro, dengan kelas 01ELSM001 sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa 20 mahasiswa memperoleh skor di atas 90, sementara 10 mahasiswa lainnya berada di bawah nilai tersebut. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan menulis karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa kelas 01ELSM001 Program Studi Teknik Elektro Universitas Pamulang telah memenuhi standar ketuntasan belajar klasikal yang ditetapkan oleh universitas, yakni minimal 75.
