Abstract

Daerah Klaten dan sekitarnya secara geologi tertutup oleh endapan fluvial vulkanik Merapi,sehingga identifikasi struktur geologi bawah permukaan tidak nampak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kedalaman lapisan sedimen di dataran klaten. Metode yang digunakan adalah Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (Metode Nakamura) dan pengukuran dilakukan secara grid sebanyak 31 titik. Hasil analisis frekuensi natural antara 0,67 – 10,655 Hz dan pemetaan lapisan sedimen yaitu mencapai 80-90m di kecamatan Kalikotes tepatnya desa Mojayan, Desa Gumulan dan Desa Kalikotes, sedangkan ketebalan lapisan sekitar 5-15m sebagian besar berada pada kecamatan Klaten Utara. Potensi kerusakan akibat efek ketebalan ini berakibat pada peningkatan ground shaking di permukaan akbat mikrozonasi.

Abstract

The community engagement programme of Solar Power Plant (PLTS) installation as an electrical energy source for broiler farming society business in Jakenan Subdistrict, Pati District, Central Java Province has been done. The aims of this programme helped the broiler farming society in that Subdistrict to increase their business production by utilizing the PLTS technology. The implementation of this community engangement was carried out by giving an example to install, maintain, utilize, and develop of PLTS system in one of the broiler cage. This programme was done from April 2018 until September 2018 continously. The result of this programme was installed the 3 x 100 wp PLTS system in one of the cage as an example. Furthermore, the broiler farming society in Jakenan Subdistrict, Pati District, Central Java Province were understood and abled to applicating the PLTS technology to increase their broiler business productivity.

Abstract

We perform first-principles calculations to investigate the adsorption process of methyl mercury (MeHg) on germanene with the presence of water molecules. We calculate the formation energy and density of states to determine the effect of the adsorption of MeHg on the structural and electronic properties of germanene. Our results show that MeHg is chemisorbed on germanene through a spontaneous reaction. The calculated formation energy of the system is -1.61 eV. We also carry out charge distribution and charge transfer calculations based on the Mulliken model to understand the adsorption mechanism of MeHg.

Abstract

The demand for increased voltage in renewable energy sources is relatively high. This study examines the rapid development of technology considering the use of voltage-increasing transformers. Voltage regulator circuits are generally used to stabilize the output voltage of the rectifier according to the amount of input from the transformer. However, components for high-voltage stabilizer circuits are rare, which becomes an obstacle to the stabilization of the rectifier output. This study aimed to determine the performance of the designed rectifier circuit against a non-center tap step-up direct current (DC) 400 V transformer and compare the measurement results to manual calculations. The research method is a direct comparison between the input and output voltage values of the transformer after going through a rectifier circuit. This experiment was conducted using the repeatability method three to five times for each voltage variation on the transformer. The voltage variations successfully created are 0 to 50, 0 to 100, 0 to 200, and 0 to 400 V. The output test results from the DC transformer and rectifier circuit show linear results and an increase in peak-to-peak voltage data between the transformer and rectifier outputs by 3.8%.

Abstract

ABSTRAKAyam broiler merupakan hewan ternak yang memiliki ciri khas pertumbuhan yang cepat dan pertumbuhannya dipengaruhi oleh suhu lingkungan. Kandang merupakan salah satu bagian dari manajemen ternak ayam broiler yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan, terutama mengenai suhu dan kelembaban. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat prototipe sistem pengukuran besaran fisis berupa pengaturan dan pengukuran  suhu dan kelembaban secara otomatis pada kandang ayam broiler berbasis android untuk memudahkan monitoring. Pada penelitian ini sensor yang digunakan untuk mengukur suhu dan kelembaban dalam sistem monitoring ini adalah sensor DHT11, sedangkan sebagai pengendalinya digunakan Arduino Due. Ketika sensor DHT11 membaca data, maka Arduino akan merekam dan memproses data tersebut. Data pengukuran dapat disimpan dalam bentuk database yang dapat ditampilkan pada halaman aplikasi Blynk  berbasis android.Broiler chickens are livestock that have a characteristic that is fast growth and its growth is influenced by the temperature of the environment. Cage is one part of the management of broiler chickens which is very important, especially regarding temperature and humidity. The purpose of this study was to make a prototype of the physical measurement system in the form of setting and measuring temperature and humidity automatically in an Android-based broiler chicken coop to facilitate monitoring. In this study the sensors used to measure temperature and humidity in the monitoring system are DHT11 sensors, while Arduino Due is used as the controller. When the DHT11 sensor read the data, the Arduino will record and process the data. Measurement data can be stored in the form of a database that can be displayed on Blynk app based on Android.Keywords  :  Temperature; Humidity; DHT11; Arduino due; Android

Abstract

Property rights are hereditary, strongest and fullest rights that a person or legal entity can have over land keeping in mind social functions. Based on Article 20 of the UUPA it is stated that the distinguishing properties of property rights and other rights. Article 25 of the UUPA explains that property rights can be used as debt security by being burdened with dependent rights. In Law Number 4 of 1996 concerning Dependent Rights on land and objects related to land, it is stipulated that land rights can also be burdened with dependent rights when used as collateral to obtain credit at a bank. However, people in East Strait Village, Meranti Islands Regency cannot make property rights certificates as credit collateral. This article is classified as literature research with a qualitative approach. The methodology used is the study of normative law. The results of the study found that land owned by the community could not be charged with Right of Dependent. The Certificate of Dependent Rights cannot be issued because the land in the area is designated as included in the peat area or the PIPPIB map as stipulated in Presidential Instruction Number 5 of 2019 concerning the Termination of Granting New Permits and Improving the Management of Primary Natural Forests and Peatlands. The issuance of this Presidential Instruction is considered not in accordance with the authority of the holder of the title certificate as stipulated in the UUPA.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on uncertainty studies in current and voltage measurements based on the Internet of Things using the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller. This research aims to design a current and voltage or power meter using a current sensor in the form of an INA219 module and a voltage sensor with a microcontroller-based voltage divider circuit module and determine the validity of the measuring results of the instrument created. The method used in this research consists of three stages: hardware design, software design and system testing. Testing is carried out by analyzing the uncertainty and error values in the current and voltage measurement data. This research shows that the sensors' accuracy shows a percentage uncertainty value of 3.49% for voltage sensor measurements and 0.65% for current sensor measurements at varying resistor values of 100 Ω. Meanwhile, the test load variation in a 300 Ω resistor shows a percentage uncertainty value of 2.99% for voltage sensor measurements and 2.16% for current sensor measurements.

Abstract

The battery has the function of an electrical energy storage system. However, charging the battery is prone to damage. Damage to the battery is often caused by overcharging. The time used during the battery charging process is an important factor that must be considered when charging. thus, efficient battery charging is important and very necessary to avoid damage. An another important aspect of a battery charging method is the current and voltage values supplied during its charging process. The presence of inappropriate values damages and reduce battery life, while the maintenance of a constant current is an important charging process step that extends service life. This research is expected to create a safe and optimal battery charging system with a simple low-cost circuit based on constant current by utilizing the LM388 Integrated Circuit (IC) regulator. This study discusses a 12 V battery charging system with monitored and controlled constant current using an R-Shunt sensor. Voltage monitoring while charging was carried out with voltage sensors using a constant current of 0.1 to 1.3 Ampere. Furthermore, voltages and currents were displayed through a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen controlled with Arduino Uno during battery charging. The measurement results showed that the circuit reached voltages and currents of 14.07 V and 0.19 A respectively for a charge duration of 8 hours.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between students' attitudes toward literature and their ability to understand story content. The background of this study is based on the fact that many students experience difficulties in understanding literary texts due to their low level of appreciation for literary works. The method used was a quantitative correlational study involving 40 Grade XII students from SMKN 8 Kota Serang as respondents. The instruments used included a questionnaire to measure attitudes toward literature and an essay test to measure the ability to understand stories. The analysis results showed a positive and significant relationship between students' attitudes toward literature and their ability to understand stories, with a correlation coefficient of 0.629 and a high significance value. These findings indicate that an increase in positive attitudes toward literature has an impact on improving students' literacy skills in understanding story texts. This study recommends the need to strengthen appreciative attitudes through creative and student-centered literature learning strategies.Keywords: Student attitudes; literature; story comprehension; literature learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan oleh tim Universitas Pamulang Kota Serang dilakukan untuk Membangun Budaya Berbahasa Indonesia yang digunakan di kalangan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan sehingga terbentuknya public speaking. Siswa yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas XII dengan pertimbangan mereka akan menyelesaikan proses belajar di sekolah dan terjun ke masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan ketrampilan yang dimiliki. Mitra pengabdian pada masyarakat adalah Siswa Kelas XII SMK Bismillah. Dari analisis situasi yang dilakukan nampak bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya Membangun Budaya Berbahasa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi sebelum kegiatan ini dilaksanakan, peserta didik masih banyak menggunakan bahasa daerah sebagai pengantar dalam proses pembelajaran karena kebiasaan yang terbawa-bawa dari lingkungan keluarga. Tantangan dalam Penggunaan Bahasa, Siswa sering menghadapi tantangan dalam penggunaan bahasa, baik itu dalam menulis, berbicara, atau memahami teks. Tantangan ini bisa disebabkan oleh kurangnya praktik, kecemasan berbicara di depan umum, atau kurangnya kesempatan untuk berinteraksi dalam bahasa yang tepat. Kontribusi dan manfaat yang diperoleh khalayak sasaran adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya penggunaan bahasa yang efektif, mendorong siswa untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam berbagai kegiatan berbahasa, dan memberikan mereka keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk sukses dalam belajar dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam Pengebdian Kepada masayarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan praktek. Pendekatan yang dilakukan berupa humanistik agar peserta didik tidak merasa takut dan segan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Budaya Berbahasa, Pembelajaran Bahasa, komunikasi, treatment pengabdian.
