Abstract

ABSTRACT Character education is nowadays being promoted in national education system since it is consi- dered to be able to enhance the character of present and future generation. Character building cannot be separated from culture. In this case, Ringkang Gumiwang Arts House (RGAH) concerns on cha- racter education by reintroducing mother language (Sundanese) as an effort to build one’s culture. Reconstructing Sundanese play is conducted as an attempt of retaining the existence of Sundanese culture. The performance of Sundanese play grows into media of maintaining language and arts for young generation. Arts inheritance method is implemented to explore and apply the sustainment of arts in the society. Understanding of values in the performance is expected to be applied in the youth life. Therefore, the performance appreciation run by RGAH can be a model in transmitting values of a society. Plays (Sandiwara) become a good vehicle to increase appreciation among the youth. Keywords: Sundanese plays, values transmission, young generation  ABSTRAK Pendidikan karakter kini tengah digalakkan dalam sistem pendidikan nasional karena dapat meningkatkan mutu karakter generasi sekarang dan masa datang. Kita tidak mung- kin membangun karakter terlepas dari budayanya. Padepokan Seni Ringkang Gumiwang (PSRG) peduli pada pendidikan karakter dengan mengenalkan kembali bahasa ibu(Sunda) sebagai upaya membangun budaya sendiri. Rekonstruksi Sandiwara Sunda dilakukan se- bagai upaya pemertahanan eksistensi budaya Sunda. Pertunjukan sandiwara Sunda men- jadi media pemertahanan bahasa dan seni kepada generasi muda. Metode Pewarisan kese- nian digunakan untuk menggali dan mengaplikasikan keberlangsungan sebuah kesenian di masyarakat. Pemahaman nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalam pertunjukan diharapkan dapat diaplikasi dalam kehidupan siswa (generasi muda). Oleh karena itu, apresiasi per- tunjukan yang dilakukan oleh PSRG dapat menjadi model dalam transmisi nilai pada ma- syarakat. Sandiwara menjadi wahana tepat dalam peningkatan apresiasidi kalangan ge- nerasi muda. Kata kunci: Sandiwara Sunda, transmisi nilai, generasi muda

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mun-Tangan Alif is a Sundanese drama which is full of religiosity depicting one who is going through the steps toward the Creator (God). Sunda cosmology in this drama reveals the existing life in dasaring bumi, madyapada, and jabaning langit. The religiosity of Mun-Tangan Alif represents the human being’s consciousness as the God’s creation with obedience and appropriate efforts to be always in His ways. The awareness of time cycle and struggle for the highest degree gives the under- standing to reach the true life with truth values, either in Sunda or Islam. Analysed by using Pavis method, it can be seen that Mun-Tangan Alif can mediate the people’s consciousness of how to be Sundanese in exploring, understanding, and applying local (Sundanese) wisdom in life. Keywords: Sunda cosmology, local wisdom, drama.

Abstract

Abstract

Documentary film is a visualization of facts and reality. The film is packaged based on a team's research either done in depth or just a surface study. However, the contribution of field data is one of the strengthens that proves the quality of a documentary film. Documentary film "Marwah Gorga from the Batak land", is one of the movies based on in-depth research. The problem raised in this research is, how to study and visualize the aesthetic of gorga ornament, its meaning and correlation with homeowners on Samosir Island. The research method used is qualitative. The results show that there is a strong correlation between ornament and homeowner, and the spirit of gorga has a symbolic meaning that is respected by the people on Samosir Island. The charm and symbolic meaning of Gorga ornament can be visualized beautifully in the documentary film "Marwah Gorga from the Batak Land".

Abstract

Abstrak Film-film Rhoma Irama seakan menjadi ruang temu maya antara penggemar yang ingin melihat sosok sang idola dengan Rhoma Irama yang berjuang dakwah melalui teknologi media populer. Naratologi, sinematik, serta mise-en-scene sebagai analisis utama dalam kajian ini untuk mengkaji data-data penelitian yang didapatkan melalui observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara. Pendekatan teori Struart Hall dan Paul Du Gay, tentang lima unsur yang saling berkaitan dalam bentuk identity, representation, production, regulation and consumption. Tinjauan sosiologis memperkenalkan tiga pendekatan utama untuk menjelaskan representasi bekerja pada kebudayaan. Pertama the reflective, kedua the intentional, dan ketiga constuctionist. Film musikal Satria Bergitar Rhoma Irama merupakan representasi atas perjalanan karir bermusik dan dakwah Rhoma dan Soneta Group. Peneliti memandang bagaimana struktur naratif film dan keislaman direpresentasikan oleh timur tengah (global) diupayakan untuk dilokalkan dalam film musikal Satria Bergitar Rhoma Irama. Alur disusun dan disesuaikan dengan cerita lagu pengiring, tampil dengan pelbagai karakter dan seting yang berbeda beda dalam setiap filmnya serta menggambarkan nuansa kolosal. Abstract Rhoma Irama's films become meeting point of the fans who want to see the figure Rhoma Irama as their idol doing who are struggling to preach through popular media technology. Narcotology, cinematic, and mise-en-scene as the main analysis in this study to study the research data obtained through observation, literature study, and interviews. The approach of Struart Hall and Paul Du Gay, about the five interrelated elements in the form of identity, representation, production, regulation and consumption. Sociological reviews introduce three main approaches to explain the representation of work in culture. First the reflective, second the intentional, and third the constuctionist. The musical film Satria Bergitar Rhoma Irama is a representation of the career journey of music and preaching of Rhoma and Soneta Group. The researcher looked at how the narrative and Islamic structure represented by the Middle East (global) was sought to be localized in the musical film Satria Bergitar Rhoma Irama. The plot is arranged and adapted to the accompaniment song story, appearing with various characters and settings that are different in each film and illustrate colossal feelings.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa menjadi primadona dalam implementasi Undang-undang Pe-majuan Kebudayaan. Kementrian Pendidikan Kebudayaan berusaha membangun desa sebagai ujung tombak pemajuan kebudayaan. Desa merupakan pondasi jati diri bangsa, tempat asal peradaban, sekaligus lumbung keanekaragaman budaya, ilmu pengetahuan, kearifan, tradisi serta aneka sumber daya tak ternilai yang diwariskan turun temurun. 11 OPK Desa Karyasari memiliki peluang pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam bidang seni tari, karena dalam acara Festival Bedah Bugel terdapat 49 acara, terdiri dari arak-arakan, open ceremony, kaulinan barudak, tari, musik dan closing ceremony. Jumlah penampilan tari sebanyak 33 tarian. Pelaku tari mulai anak-anak usia 4 tahun, remaja, dewasa sampai orang tua, bahkan manula semua ikut menari. Selain itu, ada kesenian rudat yang hampir punah, karena pelakunya berumur 102 dan 87 tahun. Dalam festival, antusiasme dan partisipasi masyarakat sangat besar, ini menjadi modal penting dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Tujuan pemajuan kebudayaan desa dapat dicapai melalui pengembangan dan pemanfaatan potensi sumber daya manusia secara sistemik dan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Primadona, Pemajuan Kebudayaan, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Tari, Partisipasi.ABSTRACTDance Potential Empowerment Opportunity In Karyasari Village, Cibalong District, Garut Regency, December 2021. The village is a primadonna of the law's implementation on culture furtherance. Ministery of Culture and Education of Indonesian efforts to building villages as a significance program on culture furtherance. The Village is the foundation of national identity, the home of Indonesian civilization, and the granaries of cultural diversity, science, prudence, traditions and priceless resources passed down through generations. The eleven Culture Furtherance Objek (OPK) in Karyasari village has an extremely high chance of empowerment of people, because on the BedahBugel Festival have 49 programs, including processions, open ceremony, barudak and closing ceremony. The number of dance performances is 33. It starts with 4 - year - old children, teenagers, adults, and even older people all join in the dance. Beyond that, the rule has been most exhaled as the perpetrators currently living between 102 and 87 years of age. The enormous enthusiasm and participation of society into critical capital for the empowerment of society. The goal of village culture's preparedness can be achieved through systematic and sustainable development and use of human resources potential.Keywords: Primadonna, Culture Furtherance, Social Empowerment, Dance, Participatory.

Abstract

Artikel ilmiah ini memaparkan penelitian dan penciptaan karya seni berupa alihwahana dari satu karya ke karya lainnya. Tradisi Lisan Mitos Karang Paranje di Desa Karyasari menjadi sumber penciptaan. Tradisi lisan Mitos Karang Paranje merupakan salah satu aset budaya yang harus dijaga dan dilestarikan. Terdapat cerita sejarah dari seni tradisi tersebut, salah satunya terkandung nilai-nilai penghormatan terhadap leluhur dan lingkungan alam. Metode yang dipakai adalah Metode Pavis. Tahapan implementasi dilakukan mulai dari konkretisasi ide, konkretisasi tekstual, kontretisasi dramaturgi, konkretisasi pemanggungan, dan konkretisasi persepsi target. Hasil dari penelitian dan penciptaan karya seni berupa ertunjukan teater tari berjudul Puseur Sancang Pangirutan. Penceritaan dan konflik berkaitan dengan adanya upaya perusakan alam dan pencegahannya. Pertunjukan teater tari Puseur Sancang Pangirutan bermanfaat bagi Desa Karyasari sebagai penguatan atraksi destinasi/penguatan potensi pemajuan kebudayaan dan bentuk edukasi kepada masyarakat berkaitan dengan pemeliharaan alam (konservasi alam).
