This research analyzes social empowerment through the Eco-Pesantren program at PPTQ Al-Munawwaroh. A descriptive-exploratory approach was employed, with data obtained through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The researchers analyzed the data using the Miles and Huberman model, comprising data reduction, presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results show that social empowerment through the program is achieved over several stages: (1) awareness through the socialization of the importance of maintaining environmental sustainability; (2) capacity development through training in managing the environment and waste; and (3) society empowerment through various programs oriented towards environmental sustainability. These programs included information on (1) the fruit and vegetable village; (2) waste bank; (3) organic waste terminal and biopore composter; (4) one student one eco brick; and (5) the movement to switch off TVs and electrical equipment from Maghrib to Isyak. The program is essential in bridging ecological activities at the grassroots level between the pesantren and surrounding communities.

Pesantren Qomaruddin Sampurnan Bungah Gresik, as one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia, has undergone a long journey in its transformation from a traditional educational system to a more modern and multidisciplinary approach. Initially, this pesantren focused on teaching classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) using the *sorogan* and *bandongan* methods. However, over time, due to social changes and the development of knowledge, Pesantren Qomaruddin began adopting a more diverse curriculum, including general subjects such as science, technology, and foreign languages. This modernization also includes updates in teaching methods, the use of information technology, and collaboration with formal educational institutions. This article examines the evolution process, highlighting the driving factors behind the changes, the challenges faced, and its impact on the pesantren community and the surrounding society. Thus, Pesantren Qomaruddin becomes a concrete example of how traditional educational institutions can adapt and remain relevant in the globalization era without losing their Islamic identity.

The phenomenon or research problem is the use of augmented reality (AR)-based learning media and active learning methods in the context of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons at SMAN 1 Dukun. This issue arises from the need to evaluate the effectiveness of innovative learning methods and emerging technologies, as well as their relevance in improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of the research is to provide new insights on how to enhance PAI learning and enrich the Merdeka curriculum with relevant technology and teaching methods. This research uses quantitative methods and descriptive hypotheses. The researchers used data analysis techniques in the form of PLS SEM with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 to address the objectives of the study. The research sample consists of students from SMAN 1 Dukun who are studying the subject of PAI. We use random sampling, a method that selects samples randomly without distinguishing between the strata or levels of the students from SMAN 1 Dukun Gresik. This research instrument consists of a closed questionnaire filled out online using Google Forms. The questionnaire takes the form of a Likert scale. We conducted technical data analysis using moderation regression tests, t-tests, and R-Square tests. The study shows that augmented reality (AR)-based learning media and active learning methods have a big direct impact on how well students at SMAN 1 Dukun learn. The T-statistic value is 3.673, which is higher than 1.96 (for 5% significance), and the path coefficient value is positive (0.553). The correlation value between augmented reality (AR)-based learning media and active learning methods and the learning outcomes of students at SMAN 1 Dukun is 94.3% .

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis komik edukasi textbook pada materi Surah Al-Lahab untuk siswa kelas I MI Hidayatul Mubtadiin Glatik Ujungpangkah serta mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitasnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Media dikembangkan sesuai karakteristik peserta didik kelas I yang menyukai pembelajaran visual, berwarna, dan berbentuk cerita sederhana. Uji kelayakan dilakukan melalui validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, sedangkan uji efektivitas melalui angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase efektivitas sebesar 81,7% dengan kategori sangat efektif dan persentase kelayakan sebesar 86,53% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian, media komik edukasi textbook Surah Al-Lahab dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis serta mampu meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman peserta didik..

Juvenile delinquency in the school environment is one of the educational problems that can influence students’ social, emotional, and academic development. Various forms of deviant behavior such as truancy, lateness, smoking, violations of school rules, and irresponsible use of social media indicate the need for systematic preventive efforts through guidance and counseling services. This study aims to analyze the management of preventive guidance and counseling in preventing juvenile delinquency at Madrasah Aliyah Al Muniroh ujungpangkah Gresik. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of the school principal, guidance and counseling teachers, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the management of preventive guidance and counseling is implemented through the stages of program planning, implementation, and evaluation. Program planning is prepared based on students’ needs analysis obtained from records of rule violations and observations of students’ behavior. The implementation of services includes classroom guidance, group guidance, individual counseling, and character strengthening integrated with religious values. The implementation of these preventive services is able to increase students’ understanding of the impacts of juvenile delinquency, strengthen self-control, and foster moral awareness so that the potential for juvenile delinquency can be minimized within the school environment.

Student discipline issues remain a challenge in the management of vocational high schools. Various violations indicate that a punishment-based disciplinary approach has not been effective in fostering sustainable disciplined behavior. Therefore, an educational strategy is needed through guidance and counseling services integrated with a restorative approach. This study aims to analyze the management of guidance and counseling services in addressing student discipline issues and to examine the implementation of a restorative approach at State Vocational High School 1 Sarirejo. The method used in this study is qualitative, employing a case study approach through observation and interviews with the school principal, guidance and counseling teachers, and students. The results of this study indicate that service management is implemented through planning based on student needs, the application of a restorative approach through counseling, dialogue, and mediation, as well as evaluation through monitoring behavioral development and case documentation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of guidance and counseling service management with restorative practices as a humanistic and participatory model of discipline development.

Guru adalah individu yang memiliki tanggung jawab dan memainkan peran penting dalam membimbing masa depan siswa menuju keberhasilan. Untuk menjadi seorang yang profesional, seorang guru dituntut untuk memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih luas dan mendalam serta berkomitmen untuk terus belajar dan menggali informasi baru selama masa pengajaran. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi dalam perannya sebagai pendidik adalah ketidakpahaman tentang tanggung jawabnya, yang seringkali menyebabkan masalah dalam pengelolaan siswa. Berdasarkan isu ini, tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan dan ide mengenai bagaimana menjadi guru yang profesional dalam hal administrasi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka. Hasil data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai 86,79% menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pendidik menyadari betapa pentingnya administrasi pendidikan dalam konteks profesionalisme mereka.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana peran guru dapat mendorong peningkatan kreativitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tematik pada siswa kelas 4 di UPT SD Negeri 38 Gresik. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian interaktif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 22 siswa kelas 4. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi serta wawancara mendalam. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru sebagai pendamping, panutan, konselor, sumber ilmu, dan penggerak memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas belajar siswa di kelas tersebut.

The Averroism movement emerged as a form of support and resistance from European thinkers who followed Ibn Rushd’s way of thinking against church authority. This movement opposed the indoctrination by church authorities that restricted freedom of thought. Church authorities assumed that church doctrine was true and should not contradict it. The impact of the massive Averroism movement caused the loss of church authority accompanied by internal conflicts that hit the church camp. To strengthen the doctrine and faith of Catholics, Pope Paul III ordered Ignatius Loyola to establish schools, colleges, and seminaries which were institutions engaged in education known as the Society of Jesus. This study seeks to review and deepen the historical and philosophical study of Averroes’ movement in the establishment and development of the Society of Jesus in Indonesia. This study uses a literature review research method with two approaches, namely the historical research approach and the philosophical approach. The results of the study stated that there were two factors relating the Averroism movement to the development of the Society of Jesus education in Indonesia,: The loss of church authority due to opposition to the Averroism movement and Efforts to indoctrinate through education about Catholic teachings and understanding through the Society of Jesus. This study emphasizes that the establishment and development of the Society of Jesus in Indonesia cannot be separated from the influence of the Averroism which is expressed in thoughts about freedom of thought and the indoctrination of education.
