Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to find out and analyze the damage to medicinal and medical devices stored in the warehouse of PT. Dakota Logistics Indonesia. The problem found during January-March 2018 is the number of goods claims in the warehouse of PT. Dakota Logistics Indonesia. Data needed for this paper are claims for drug and medical equipment claims, types of claim items during January-March 2018 and goods claim cost data during January-March 2018. While the proposed improvements use the DMAIC method. Based on the DMAIC method the cause of the most claims is damage to broken goods on drugs and medical devices PT. I. While the proposed improvements are work instructions on the process of unloading and loading on the process in the warehouse of PT. Dakota Logistik Indonesia as well as adding item information columns to customer purchase orders. Keywords: DMAIC, claim, warehouse Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kerusakan barang obat dan alat kesehatan yang disimpan di gudang PT. Dakota Logistik Indonesia. Permasalahan yang ditemukan selama Januari-Maret 2018 adalah banyaknya klaim barang dalam gudang PT. Dakota Logistik Indonesia. Data yang dibutuhkan untuk tulisan ini adalah data klaim barang obat dan alat kesehatan, jenis klaim barang selama Januari-Maret 2018 dan data biaya klaim barang selama Januari-Maret 2018. Sedangkan usulan perbaikannya menggunakan metode DMAIC. Berdasarkan metode DMAIC penyebab klaim terbanyak adalah kerusakan barang pecah pada obat dan alat kesehatan PT. I. Sedangkan usulan perbaikannya adalah instruksi kerja pada proses unloading dan loading pada proses di dalam gudang PT. Dakota Logistik Indonesia serta penambahan kolom informasi barang pada purchase order customer. Kata kunci: DMAIC, Klaim Barang, Gudang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the causes of delays in the delivery of products to consumers. Big picture mapping will describe the product delivery process flow starting from receiving product delivery orders to the product delivery process carried out by a third party company. Process activity mapping is used to categorize activities into three categories, namely value added, necessary, value added, and non value added. Waste activity identification that occurs in the product delivery process is carried out with the seven waste method, which then causes the waste factors to be analyzed using a fishbone diagram. Lean distribution method is useful for analyzing waste factors as much as possible, so that continuous improvement can be implemented immediately.

Abstract

Warehousing is all activities that include receiving, storing, maintaining, distributing, controlling and reporting logistics and logistics equipment so that quality and quantity are guaranteed. This research was conducted directly in the warehouse section of PT Corinthian Industries Indonesia (CII), which wanted to implement a warehouse activity process using the checklist document on material acceptance and procedure for dispensing goods. Methods of data collection include observation, communication, and documentation. Proposals that can be done are in the form of improving warehousing activities that are adjusted to the actual conditions of the company. With these improvements the company can prevent losses caused by problems that occur. That way, a continuous improvement approach can be made.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran deskriptif mengenai perawatan mesin atau maintenance, meliputi Total Productive Maintenance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Overall Human Ineffectiveness dan Six Big Losses pada PT Ichikoh Indonesia. Permasalahan yang terjadi diperusahaan yaitu banyaknya jumlah part defect dikarenakan mesin sering breakdown. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara terstruktur dengan Manager Departement Molding Upstream 1 dan Departement Maintenance. Data tersebut dianalisis menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan evaluatif dari periode bulan April 2016 sampai Maret 2017. Dari hasil analisis ini PT Ichikoh Indonesia memiliki nilai efektifitas mesin yang masih dibawah standar JIPM (Japan Institude of Plant Maintenance) yaitu dengan nilai tertinggi pada bulan Februari 74%, sedangkan standar JIPM (Japan Institude of Plant Maintenance) adalah minimal sebesar 85% yang dihitung menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Sedangkan untuk pengukuran tingkat ketidakefektifan kerja operator yang dianalisis menggunakan metode Overall Human Ineffectiveness mendapatkan nilai yang masih besar pada bulan May 2016 yaitu sebesar 17%.  Faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya nilai efektifitas mesin dan tingkat ketidakefektifan kinerja operator adalah faktor Idling and Minor Stoppagges dengan nilai losses sebesar 54% yang sudah dianalisis menggunakan diagram pareto. Sesuai dengan diagram sebab-akibat (fishbone) didapat faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya Idling and Minor Stoppagges yang menjadi prioritas utama adalah a). faktor manusia yaitu masih kurang disiplin, sering terjadi kesalahan dalam perbaikan mesin, b). faktor material yaitu kesalahan spesifikasi material dan rendahnya perawatan bahan baku, c). faktor mesin yaitu mesin sering breakdown, kesalahan setup, d). faktor metode yaitu penjadwalan pengganti komponen yang belum efektif dan autonomous maintenance kurang berjalan dengan baik, e). faktor lingkungan yaitu kebersihan mesin kurang.

Abstract

PT.Bina Busana Internusa adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang garmen dengan memproduksi kemaja pria & wanita dan seragam kerja khususnya pada Kain kemeja poloshirt yang membutuhkan pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yang baik dan tepat. Produk yang akan diteliti adalah kain kemeja poloshirt. Permasalahan yang terjadi di kain kemeja poloshirt adalah keterlambatan datangnya bahan baku selama 4 hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengendalikan persediaan bahan baku menggunakan metode EOQ di PT Bina Busana Internusa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode EOQ untuk mengetahui total biaya persediaan. Data yang dibutuhkan pada penelitian ini yaitu jumlah pembeliaan bahan baku, jumlah penggunaan bahan baku, biaya simpan, biaya pemesanan, lead time dan frekuensi pemesanan . Hasil yang diperoleh dari metode EOQ yaitu terjadi perbaikan pada pembelian bahan baku, total biaya persediaan bahan baku, frekuensi pemesanan, safety stock dan reorder point. Nilai pembeliaan bahan baku sebesar 1.313,167 kg menjadi 1.837 kg. Nilai total biaya persediaan bahan baku sebesar Rp 2.447.395 menjadi Rp. 2.315.356. Nilai Frekuensi pemesanan sebesar 24 kali menjadi 17 kali. Safety stock yang di hasilkan dari metode EOQ sebesar 749,91 kg. Reorder point yang dihasilkan dari metode EOQ sebesar 969 kg. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan disarankan untuk menimasi total biaya persediaan bahan baku.

Abstract

Leadership style is a style used by a leader to lead the organization by using existing resources within the organization to achieve organizational goals. Human resources are one of the resources that exist within the organization that can be utilized leader for the achievement of organizational goals. Employees are human resources that can be utilized by a leader in achieving organizational goals. It is important for a leader to be able to use an appropriate leadership style with the organization, in an effort to improve employee work motivation, which affects the performance of employees who support the achievement of organizational goals. In this study will be discussed about the performance of employees who are influenced by the style of leadership and work motivation. The results showed that employee performance is influenced by the level of work motivation and leadership style. In addition, the appropriate style of leader will affect the level of employee motivation, so it can significantly improve the performance of employees within an organization.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of order determination on camera lens components and the costs incurred between company policies and dynamic deterministic methods. This study uses dynamic deterministic methods, namely Wagner-Whitin Algorithm, Silver Meal, Least Unit Cost, Economic Part Period, Lot For Lot and Least Total Cost to determine the amount of costs incurred by the company each time the order on the camera lens component. Of all these dynamic deterministic methods, the most efficient is the Wagner-Whitin Algorithm method with an order frequency of 10 times the order and the cost incurred is Rp. 34,529,190. The Silver Meal method with the order frequency of 10 times the order and the cost incurred is Rp. 35,390,310. Least Unit Cost method with the order frequency of 10 times the order and the cost incurred is Rp. 35,234,830. The method of the Economic Part Period with an order frequency of 10 times the order and costs incurred in the amount of Rp. 35,390,310. Method Lot For Lot with the order frequency of 12 times the order and the cost incurred is Rp. 36,720,396. And the Least Total Cost with the order frequency of 10 times the order and the cost incurred is Rp. 35,390,310. In company policy, 12 orders are made at a cost of Rp. 36,720,396. So that the proposed improvement can be given is that the company is expected to use the Wagner-Whitin Algorithm method which has a minimum order frequency and cost.

Abstract

This research describes an electronic Kanban system development in order to replace conventional Kanban system. Many previous research conducted to optimize number of Kanban, however weaknesses still find when there is a change condition of production planning, therefore it must be re-optimization number of Kanban and it will takes time and costs. In current condition, the Company has implemented a manual Kanban system to support their  Just In Time production system, but unfortunately it still find problems during implementation due to the system implemented using paper and manual recording. In this research, the electronic Kanban system (e-Kanban) is develop based on computer vision which combined with production systems condition in currently. E-Kanban system is a method to replace manual Kanban irregularity. Based on result through a scenario Master Production Schedule (MPS), Electronic Kanban system can deliver information effciently and effectively with improve 54% compared with conventional systems and 32% compared with manual Kanban.

Abstract

This study aimed to minimize the cost of shipping export products. The selection of freight forwarders in shipping export goods is performed by direct appointment, this can affect the level of customer satisfaction and the cost of shipping exported goods issued to be high. The method used to select freight forwarders is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method. Calculation of the selection of freight forwarder services by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method can determine the type of freight forwarder services that have the highest weight and the calculation of shipping costs of export goods, furthermore can find out the comparison of costs incurred by the company between using several types of freight forwarder services by using one type of freight forwarders who have the highest weight in the calculation of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method. There are four steps to select freight forwarder services by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Pairwise comparisons is a matrix can be used that can compare weights between criteria and between alternatives. The company in selecting freight forwarder services should use the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method due to Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is implemented to generate an initial feasible solution of freight forwarders performance problems.
