Abstract

Mathematics is a structured science which includes the basics of calculating, measuring, and depicting the shape of learning objects. Mathematics itself has a uniqueness that makes it different from learning in general. Information was obtained that students had difficulty learning geometry on things that were more conceptual in nature. The purpose of this study was to be able to find out the extent to which students' ability to solve problems measuring lines and angles using a protractor. This study used a type of qualitative research method in which the researcher made observations and collected data at one of the elementary schools in the Panyileukan area. Based on the research conducted, it can be seen that there are still many students who have difficulty working on problems measuring lines and angles using a protractor in mathematics.

Abstract

The Ice breaking method itself is an activity applied by everyone to attract the focus of attention and melt the atmosphere in the room into its original state, which is an excited state (conducive again). The purpose of this study was to find out how much the influence of ice breaking in increasing learning motivation in students. This study used a quality method where researchers used observation methods on grade V students in one of the elementary schools in the Panyileukan area. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that ice breaking is very influential in increasing student learning motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of the elementary school environment, to determine the teacher's role in creating effective and efficient learning in elementary schools, to determine the inhibiting factors of the learning process and to determine the extent to which the school environment influences the effectiveness of learning in elementary schools. The type of research chosen by the researcher is survey research and is a qualitative research by exploring field data using descriptive analysis methods. the study took the research location at SDN Rancairung 1 because it was strategically located, easy to reach and did not require a lot of money, and in collecting data the authors conducted interviews, observations and documentation to complete the required data. The results of this study indicate that in creating effective learning in the classroom the teacher's role is very important because the teacher provides the most services to students when students are at school. Factors that become obstacles to the learning process.
