Abstract

Otista road in Garut is the function of primary collector road that connects between Garut and Tasikmalaya regency of Bandung regency, and serve the movement from within and outside Garut. Because of its role as one of the entrance-exit from / to Garut and the amount of traffic load and high intensity continuous movement, this road has resulted in an imbalance in the supply and demand of transport in the region and lead to delay movement, consequently the burden of road corridor Otista becomes heavier and its performance as a primary collector roads are decreasing. This study aimed to optimize the performance of the way through the control of space utilization in urban areas Garut using the Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). The data used for the analysis is obtained by means of collecting primary data and secondary data collection according to the needs of research. Data analysis was conducted on the analysis of the intensity of use of space, the analysis of traffic volume, the amount of analysis generation and analysis of vehicle traction performance of the road. From the results of the analysis showed that the volume of vehicles on the road corridor Otista Garut is not comparable to the capacity of the existing road, with the level of service at the level that level of service D "Level of Service"> 0.7 or at the level of D. Then of it is made in the form of alternative treatment alternative engineering into one-way traffic, changes in road width and intensity of the alternative arrangements. Of the three alternatives are able to improve the level of service that is originally from level D to be at the level of service level <0.7 or at the level of C.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat puasan pengguna KA Komuter Bandung – Cicalengka terhadat pelayanan yang di berikan oleh PT.KAI Daop II Bandung yang pada akhirnya merupakan masukan untuk perbaikan sarana dan prasaran kereta api menurut para pengguna. Dalam mencapai tujuan studi ini, maka dilakukan pengumpulan data baik primer maupun sekunder. Pengumpulan data primer dilakukan dengan penyebaran quesioner kepada 100 orang pengguna secara acak pada hari kerja (Senin-Jumat) maupun hari libur (Sabtu-Minggu), dimana pengguna diminta menilai terhadap variabel-variabel yang terkait dengan kereta api dan stasiun kereta api. Metodologi yang di gunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan menggunakan metoda analisis tingkat kepuasan dan tingkat pelayanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel yang memerlukan perbaikan menurut pengguna kereta api yaitu variabel yaitu keleluasaan ketika berada di dalam kereta api, dan variabel ketersediaan udara/sirkulasi di dalam gerbong kereta api, variabel keamanan di dalam kereta api, variabel ketepatan waktu kedatangan dan variabel ketepatan waktu keberangkatan dan kedatangan kereta api dan variabel waktu tunggu kedatangan kereta api, variabel kebersihan di dalam kereta api, dan variabel ketersediaan papan informasi jadwal.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of user satisfaction Commuter Train Bandung - Cicalengka with the services supplied by the PT. Daop II KAI Bandung which is the input for the improvement of railway facilities and infrastructures required by the user. In pursuit of this study data collection both primary and secondary. Primary data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 random users on weekdays (Monday-Friday) and holidays (Saturday-Sunday), where users were asked to rate the variables related to aspects of the train and the train station. The methodology used is descriptive approach using the method of analysis of the level of satisfaction and level of services. The results showed a variable that requires repair by rail users is the variable that is flexibility when it is inside the train, and the variable availability of air/circulation in the railway carriage, variable security on the train, the variable timing of arrival and variable timing of departure and the arrival of the train and variable wait time of arrival train, variable cleanliness in the train, and the variable availability schedule information board.
