Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to identify the factors influencing the quality of Arabic language education and formulate effective recommendations and strategies to build a sustainable culture of quality in Arabic language learning. The research method used is a literature study, which involves searching for and analyzing relevant literature on Arabic language learning, factors influencing the quality of Arabic language education, and effective strategies and approaches in building a sustainable culture of quality. The recommended strategies for building a culture of quality in Arabic language learning include the following steps: firstly, formulating high standards of attitudes and behaviors for all members of the school; secondly, implementing a standard of excellent service within the school; thirdly, organizing competitions in Arabic language learning; fourthly, implementing a system of recognition and mentoring; and fifthly, enhancing the abilities of school members in Arabic language learning. Furthermore, efforts such as formulating learning standards, using varied approaches and methods, utilizing technology, project-based learning, authentic assessment, and teacher training can effectively enhance the quality of Arabic language education. The main objective is to actively engage and ensure the success of students in learning the Arabic language. By considering these factors and implementing the recommended strategies, it is hoped that Arabic language learning can achieve high and sustainable quality, as well as provide positive benefits to all stakeholders involved in the Arabic language learning process. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui sistem full day school di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan rancangan studi multi situs (multisite study). Data dan dokumen dikumpulkan dan dihimpun dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan dan studi dokumentasi. Data dan dokumen tersebut kemudian diperiksa validitasnya melalui triangulasi sumber, teknik dan waktu. Selanjutnya data dan dokumen tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sekolah memiliki program yang bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai religius, nasionalis, mandiri, dan gotong royong melalui kegiatan pembiasaan akhlak mulia, penguatan pendidikan agama, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Keberhasilan didukung oleh tenaga pendidik profesional, fasilitas memadai, dan keterlibatan orang tua serta masyarakat. Kendala utama meliputi kelelahan siswa dan guru akibat jam pelajaran yang panjang, kekurangan sarana fisik, dan rendahnya kesadaran peserta didik terhadap pentingnya pendidikan karakter. Upaya peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pengajar, perbaikan fasilitas, dan peningkatan partisipasi orang tua menjadi solusi agar program ini berjalan efektif dan menciptakan generasi berkarakter kokoh, berakhlak mulia, dan mampu bersaing secara global.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of using Sirah Nabawiyah short movies on the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills in maharah kitābah (Arabic writing skills). The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design. The participants consisted of 30 students of MTs. Mambaus Sholihin Suci Manyar Gresik, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a written test developed based on critical thinking indicators, including analytical, evaluative, inferential, and logical reasoning skills. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results showed an increase in the students’ mean scores from 60.66 in the pretest to 83.66 in the posttest. The statistical analysis revealed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference in students’ critical thinking skills before and after the treatment. These findings suggest that the use of short movies effectively stimulates higher-order thinking skills, particularly in strengthening students’ critical thinking abilities.
