Abstract

Nowadays, the economy has been growing so rapidly that it makes people think of get-ting their income beyond the salary they get from their work. One way to get it is by investing. However, when investing, they find a few things to note such as financial literacy, investment experience, and risk tolerance. This is to minimize the risks as we accept, for example scams. This purpose of study is to examine the effect of financial lite-racy, experienced regret, and risk tolerance on investment decision making among socie-ty in Surabaya and Madura. This study used purposive, convenience and snow-ball sampling method. There were 185 respondents taken by questionnaire and survey me-thod. To test the hypotheses, this study employed descriptive analysis and multiple re-gression analysis. Moreover, by performing multiple regression analysis, this study found that only the experienced regret have significant effect on investment decision making, but risk tolerance and overconfidence did not affect the investment decision.

Abstract

Family financial-management is vital for achieving a financial well-being. When a family has a barely-enough income that is managed properly and wisely, it is possible that the family can live peacefully, happily, and prosperously. Although people know the importance of family financial- management, there are still many families who haven’t applied a financial management in their families. This study aimed to examine the impact of behavioral intention and spiritual intelligence on family financial-management. The sample was taken from financial managers of families that live in Gresik, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Mojokerto. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling based on family income with a minimum total income Rp 4,000,000/month and snowball sampling. The data were taken by distributing the questionnaires. The results show that the behavioral intention has a positive and significant effect on family financial-management and spiritual intelligence laso has a positive impact but not significant on family financial-management.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an important sector in driving the Indonesian economy. The development and improvement of the MSME sector is also important to continue to strive for, one of which is through optimizing marketing strategies that are adapted to current technological and information developments. This study aims to analyze digital marketing strategies at SWK Wonorejo, Surabaya City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data triangulation approach. As for data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that SWK Wonorejo combines segmentation analysis, targets and marketing mix design. In addition, an analysis of MSME sustainability and marketing implementation was carried out. MSME actors in SWK Wonorejo has marketed their products online through optimizing digital marketing media such as websites, Instagram, Google Business, and other media that can help market products effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and the Return on Investment Ratio toward Solvency in Islamic Life Insurance Companies in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach using secondary data. The population of this study is all Sharia Life Insurance Companies in Indonesia with the 2017-2021 research period. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method. Samples that met the criteria were 18 Sharia Life Insurance from 23 Sharia Life Insurance in Indonesia. The model used as an analysis tool is multiple regression analysis. Data processing in this study uses SPSS 25.0 tools. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously the variables of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and Investment Return Ratio have a positive and significant effect on Solvency (RBC) on Sharia Life Insurance in Indonesia. Whereas the Board of Commissioners partially has a negative and significant effect on Solvability (RBC). In addition, Board of Directors has a negative and significant effect on Solvability (RBC) and the Return on Investment Ratio has no effect on Solvability (RBC).

Abstract

  Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini akan berfokus pada satu home industri yang ada di Semampir Tengah, Kecamatan Sukolilo, Kota Surabaya. Mak Indra adalah salah satu contoh home industry atau pelaku bisnis di bidang kuliner yang berdiri sejak tahun 2017. Dalam perjalanannya hampir lima tahun ini, Mak Indra memproduksi beberapa snack atau maknan ringan seperti sempol, tahu bakso, tahu walik, kue matahari, dan opak jepit. Aktifitas pemasaran home industry “ Mak Indra” hanya mengandalkan pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut dan pemasaran melalui social media instagram namun secara pasif, sehingga konsumen tidak mendapat informasi yang akurat dan terbaru mengenai varian snack dan harga. Update informasi mengenai produk terbaru dilakukan secara parsial. Masalah lainnya adalah tidak ada alat bantu untuk mengorganisir pesanan dari konsumen secara otomatis, sehingga konsumen tidak bisa mengetahui barang yang berstatus pre order, ready stock, dan tidak dapat diakses oleh pelanggan dimanapun dan kapanpun. Aktifitas penjualan home industry “Mak Indra” selama ini mengharuskan konsumen yang ingin memesan atau membeli produk untuk datang langsung ke lokasi atau memesan lewat WhatsApp. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka  dilakukan pembahuruan melalui bisnis digital dengan beberapa kegiatan yaitu Memberikan Materi Pentingnya Design Kemasan, Mengoptimalkan Penggunaan Media Sosial, Memberikan arahan dan pendampingan dalam menentukan strategi pemasaran. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut yakni desain kemasan produk menjadi lebih menarik dan seragam, mitra mempunyai WA Bisnis untuk memasarkan dan mengelola pembelian produk dan mitra mempunyai platform media sosial sebagai pemasaran dan branding produk. Dari kegiatan tersebut diperoleh kesimpulan  bahwa kegiatan yang diberikan  mempunyai dampak positif bagi mitra karena materi-materi bisnis digital yang diberikan telah mengubah cara mitra dalam memasarkan produknya. Setelahnya mitra dapat mempelajari cara pengelolaan keuangan untuk kelangsungan aktivitas penjualan produknya.
