Abstract

Abstract: This research was intended to generate ideal personality inventory of high school students with Dayak Ngaju cultural background. The subjects of this study were students SMA Negeri 1 dan 2 Palangkaraya for about 60 students, the subject collecting using purposive sampling technique. A research design that used in the research development of ideal personality inventory of Dayak Ngaju culture in guidance and counseling services were mixed methods design.  The validity of ideal personality inventory of  Dayak Ngaju culture in guidance and counseling services were obtained from experts judgments and Item-Test Correlation using Product Moment Pearson correlation analysis while the reliability was obtained by counting the Alpha coefficient through the Cronbachs Alpha reliability analysis. The result of this research was to generate ideal personality inventory of Dayak Ngaju culture in guidance and counseling services which consisting of 42 items statement that is 25 items favorable and 17 items unfavorable after taking experts judgments, small clusters and large clusters test.  Drawing conclusions of the study after taking 2 times test generated 42 valid items with the coefficients reliability of 0,778 so the level of validity and reliability considered high.Keywords: Dayak ngaju, Inventory, Personality

Abstract

Student life is adjacent to risky behaviors that can lead to mental health disorders such as smoking, alcohol consumption, drug addiction and pre-marital sexual intercourse. Risk behavior that can disrupt these students need to be prevented so that students do not do things negative in life. This study aims to determine the contribution of group guidance services in preventing risky behavior on the students. This study uses quantitative ex post facto method with correlational descriptions and a sample of 65 students. The results showed that group guidance services showed a contribution in preventing risky behavior in students by 35% so that group counseling services can be used as a prevention strategy for risky behavior and provide a positive understanding for students about the negative impact of risk behavior. The implications of the research are to provide an overview of the importance of counseling and guidance services in the form of prevention and for students to recognize and understand and not to engage in risky behaviors that can damage them.

Abstract

Tanggung jawab belajar menjadi salah satu masalah yang sering timbul pada mahasiswa  dalam menyelesaikan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi sehingga diperlukan strategi dalam mengatasi masalah tanggung jawab belajar tersebut. Penelitian ini untuk  mengetahui perbedaan tanggung jawab belajar mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management. Subjek penelitian adalah 9 orang mahasiswa program studi bimbingan dan konseling, FKIP Universitas Mulawarman tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang memiliki tanggung jawab belajar rendah. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre experimental design dengan jenis one group pre-test and post-test design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Tanggung jawab belajar mahasiswa sebelum diberikan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management sebesar 31,7, 2) Tanggung jawab belajar mahasiswa setelah diberikan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management sebesar 71,8%. Berdasar hasil sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management terjadi peningkatan dalam tanggung jawab belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Obesitas merupakan permasalahan yang disebabkan oleh pola makan yang salah sehinggamengakibatkan kelebihan berat badan atau kegemukan. Permasalahan obesitas dalambeberapa tahun terakhir mengalami peningkatan sehingga perlu mendapat perhatiandalam penanganannya. Dampak yang timbul bagi penderita obesitas adalah mengalamirendah diri, tidak percaya diri dan merasa tertekan dari dalam dirinya dan lingkungannyaserta dapat mengganggu kehidupannya sehari-hari. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan penangananyang tepat. Teknik self-control merupakan teknik yang menekankan suatu aktivitasmengontrol, mengarahkan, mengatur perilaku sendiri dalam mengatasi situasi-situasiproblematiknya. Teknik self-control untuk mengatasi masalah obesitas meliputi konsepteknik self-control, obesitas, prinsip-prinsip self-control¸ implementasi teknik self-controluntuk mengatasi obesitas.Kata kunci: obesitas, teknik self-control

Abstract

Academic quality improvement, self-development, and lecture completion can be realized if the students have academic awareness and are able to overcome various self-obstacles. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral group counseling in increasing student academic awareness. The research type was the pre-experimental design of one group pre-test and post-test. The research sample was nine students under the guidance and counseling study program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mulawarman University. The analysis technique used was a descriptive analysis of percentages and the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the student academic awareness increased based on the results of the pre-test and post-test as well as cognitive-behavioral group counseling was effective in increasing academic awareness after an effectiveness test was conducted.

Abstract

Nowadays, student’s life was very close to the risky behaviors that can lead to mental health disorders such as smoking, alcohol consumption, drug addiction and premarital sex. Risky behaviors that can interfere students should be prevented so that they could avoid negative things in their life. This study will attempt to show the contribution of group guidance services in providing risky behavior prevention program on the students. This research was used Ex Post Facto Research combined with correlational research and involved the subject of 65 students. The results of the study showed that group guidance services showed contribution in prevent risky behavior to their students by 35% to conclude that group guidance services can used as prevention strategy for risky behavior and give positive sentiment for students about the negative impact of risky behavior. The implication of this research is giving an overview of the importance of guidance and counseling service as the prevention step and as for students to be aware and integrate and avoiding risky behaviors for the sake of their better future.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan pengembangan panduan keterampilan self-concept dengan teknik psikodrama untuk mencegah perilaku bullying pada peserta didik. Jenis penelitian menggunakan research and development melalui tahap analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Teknik pengumpul data menggunakan skala konsep diri dalam perundungan. Subjek uji coba produk menggunakan uji ahli sebanyak 3 orang dan uji calon pengguna sebanyak 3 orang. Analisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif.  Hasil penelitian pengembangan panduan keterampilan self-concept dengan teknik psikodrama untuk mencegah perilaku perundungan pada peserta didik yang dikembangkan memiliki ketepatan dan kelayakan digunakan berdasarkan uji ahli dengan kategori sangat baik sebesar 88% dan uji calon pengguna masuk kategori sangat baik sebesar 89%. Penyusunan panduan meliputi kerangka acuan, petunjuk panduan, isi panduan, pemakaian bahasa, rencana layanan dan desain panduan. Simpulan penelitian adalah pengembangan panduan keterampilan self-concept dengan teknik psikodrama untuk mencegah perilaku perundungan pada peserta didik memenuhi kriteria dan layak digunakan dan dimanfaatkan oleh konselor dalam memberikan bantuan. Abstract

The goal of this study is to investigate a model of the direct variable relationships between organisational culture, moral hierarchy levels, commitment, motivation, and leadership style. Purpose  This  study  is to find  out, the direct  influence  of school organizational culture, the leadership  style of the principal, on teacher  commitment,  the level  of moral  hierarchy  on  teacher commitment, teacher work motivation on teacher commitment, the direct influence of school organizational culture, the principal's leadership style on teacher work motivation, the level of moral hierarchy  on teacher work motivation.  The study population of all junior high school teachers in Samarinda City. The sampling technique is used non-random, proportional sampling. This technique is to obtain 309 samples from the total population 796 teachers.  Path analysis is one analysis technique used to find the relationship between variables. The stages of path analysis techniques are (1) Descriptive statistical analysis, (2) Normality test requirements test and linearity test, (3) Hypothesis test using significance test analysis. Based on the results, it can be said that raising work motivation, moral hierarchy level, leadership style, and organisational culture of the school can all help junior high school teachers in Samarinda become more committed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku tantrum yang ditunjukkan dan strategi yang digunakan guru untuk mengatasi tantrum  anak  usia 4-5 tahun di KB Anyelir Samarinda. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian hasil pengumpulan data dikelompokkan lalu dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data model interaktif yang dikemukakan oleh Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Bentuk perilaku tantrum yang ditunjukkan anak di KB Anyelir yaitu merupakan jenis verbal frustration tantrum dan temperamental tantrum dengan mengalami perilaku menangis dan menjerit dikarenakan anak tidak bisa menyampaikan keinginan perasaannya dan (2) Strategi guru dalam mengatasi tantrum anak usia dini yaitu memberikan ruang untuk anak meluapkan emosinya disertai pengawasan oleh guru sampai anak merasa tenang dan dapat berkomunikasi dengan guru mengenai penyebab dan keinginan anak yang tidak dapat tersampaikan olehnya. Dengan itu bisa ditarik sebuah Kesimpulan jika perilaku tantrum yang terjadi pada perilaku anak menjerit-jerit dan menangis dan pelaksanan guru mengatasi tantrum dengan memberi ruang untuk anak meluapkan emosinya disertai pengawasan.
