Abstract

This study is qualitative research which is framed as a case study. It is aim for analyzing the roles of Principal and Deputy Principals in strategic quality management at school. Data were collected through semi structured interviews, passive-participant observation, and study of documents. The document analysis and inductive method were used in analyzing the data. Results show that Principal and Deputy Principals play important roles in strategic quality management. Setting out a shared vision statement is crucial to build high commitment to reach the common goals. Setting out priorities and policies While effective team coordination brings good atmosphere to synergy and unity in the pursuit of common goals. Systematically checking of effectiveness through periodical monitoring and evaluation is for ensuring the process meet the quality standard. Transmitting the results of monitoring both to staff and to Principal- Top management is to bring better improvement. Keywords: School management, quality management, strategic quality management

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of the Ecoprint method as part of Eco-Art Therapy in improving the psychological well-being of teachers in special schools. This research method combines a qualitative approach through interviews with a quantitative method through a quasi-experimental method. The sample was purposively selected, consisting of 30 teachers. The instruments used include the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS).The results showed the highest score of Ecoprint 97, the lowest score 72 and the average 87. The level of effectiveness of the intervention reached 68.4, classified as moderately effective. This finding proves that Ecoprint as Eco-Art Therapy has a significant effect on improving the psychological well-being of special school teachers

Abstract

Students with hearing impairments face significant barriers in accessing auditory-based information, particularly in the learning of sound and rhythm perception within communication training. With the advancement of technology, various assistive devices have been developed to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students in recognizing, understanding, and responding to auditory stimuli through visual, tactile, and multisensory approaches. This article aims to review the literature on the use of assistive technology in the teaching of sound and rhythm perception for students with hearing disabilities. The method used is a systematic literature review of articles and research findings published in the last ten years. The findings indicate that assistive technologies such as digital hearing aids, FM systems, auditory training applications, and visual-based software have contributed positively to enhancing the engagement and auditory perception skills of students with hearing impairments. However, the implementation of these technologies still faces challenges, including limited access, teacher training gaps, and curriculum adaptation. Therefore, collaboration among teachers, schools, parents, and policymakers is essential to ensure the effective integration of assistive technology in communication learning. This review is expected to serve as a reference for practitioners and researchers in developing inclusive education responsive to the needs of students with hearing impairments.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah membawa perubahan di berbagai bidang, termasuk pendidikan. Sistem pendidikan perlu berdaptasi agar pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesuai dengan keterampilan abad-21. Berpikir kritis adalah salah satu keterampilan abad-21. Selain itu, peran guru tidak lagi menjadi sumber belajar utama bagi peserta didik, seperti E-Modul yang memuat video, audio, animasi, dan gambar dirancang agar peserta didik belajar secara mandiri. Media pembelajaran yang melibatkan banyak indera dan nyata akan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna. Di sisi lain, perkembangan teknologi turut mengakibatkan memudarnya eksistensi budaya lokal seperti damar kurung Gresik. Padahal kurikulum merdeka belajar menyiratkan agar pembelajaran berakar dari budaya. Sehingga dilakukan pengembangan Efimar (E-Modul Fisika Damar Kurung Gresik) untuk melatihkan berpikir kritis peserta didik materi gelombang cahaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan model DDD-E dengan tahapan Decide, Design, Develop, dan Evaluate. Validitas Efimar diperoleh dari dua dosen pendidikan fisika dan satu guru fisika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase validitas pada aspek pembelajaran sebesar 93,68%, aspek media sebesar 93,33% aspek materi sebesar 95,19%, aspek kebahasaan sebesar 94%, dan diperoleh skor validasi rata-rata sebesar 93% dengan kategori sangat valid. Efimar dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika dalam melatihkan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Sehingga pembelajaran lebih menarik dan bermakna dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis permulaan merupakan kompetensi dasar yang penting bagi anak, termasuk bagi anak Cerebral Palsy yang sering mengalami hambatan motorik halus dan koordinasi visuomotor. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan proses menulis menjadi sulit dilakukan, sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran yang adaptif dan multisensori. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan serta efektivitas Game Edukasi Multisensori “Tinta Ajaib” berbasis Android dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan anak Cerebral Palsy. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE melalui tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari enam anak Cerebral Palsy di SLB YPAC Surabaya. Kelayakan media dinilai oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, sedangkan kepraktisan dinilai oleh guru. Efektivitas diuji menggunakan desain One Group Pre-test– Post-test dan dianalisis melalui uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa game edukasi yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat layak (validasi ahli media 93,57% dan ahli materi 92,35%), serta sangat praktis menurut guru (86,66%). Selain itu, terdapat peningkatan signifikan kemampuan menulis permulaan setelah penggunaan aplikasi, dibuktikan dengan nilai Asymp. Sig = 0,024 (< 0,05) pada uji Wilcoxon. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Game Edukasi Multisensori “Tinta Ajaib” efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menulis permulaan anak Cerebral Palsy, sekaligus memberikan solusi teknologi pembelajaran yang adaptif, menarik, dan inklusif.
