Abstract

The Quran, a holy book that guides all Muslims. The Quran is the embodiment of the guidance to bring each individual to the salvation of the world and the hereafter. Everyone has different ways of interacting with the Quran, one of them by memorizing the Quran. Individuals who interact with the Quran by means of memorizing of course have different responsibilities. Teenagers who are Al Quran memorizing students have certain signs in expressing self-presentation that may be different from other teenagers. Using descriptive phenomenology study, there were 4 respondents in this study. The data retrieval technique uses semi structured interviews on the primary and secondary subject and uses nonparticipant observation. The results showed that the four respondents had different self-presentation patterns. The most crucial, the Quran forms interpreted ideals in their self-presentation through the dimensions of the khuluqiyyah dimension with respect to ethical values and the amaliyah dimension pertaining to daily behavior.

Abstract

Mengikuti perkembangan penelitian, konsep dari cyberslacking muncul di lingkungan pendidikan seperti dalam perkuliahan yang sebagian besar mahasiswa mengakses atau menggunakan internet untuk hal yang sifatnya non-akademik dalam perkuliahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan mahasiswa angkatan 2020–2021 UIN Antasari Banjarmasin yang mempelajari psikologi Islam sebagai responden atau subjek dengan rentang usia 19-22 tahun. Sampel mewakili representasi dari ukuran dan susunan populasi sebanyak 186 dengan jumlah sampel 108 responden. Analisis regresi sederhana digunakan sebagai uji hipotesis yang hasilnya menyatakan  terdapat  pengaruh secara signifikan yang terdapat di antara regulasi diri terhadap perilaku cyberslacking pada mahasiswa jurusan Psikologi Islam angkatan 2020-2021, dengan  kata  lain  hipotesis  diterima.  Hasil  analisis  data  melalui  program  SPSS  26  for  windows  yang menunjukkan  nilai  dari signifikansi  pada  variabel  regulasi diri  dan perilaku cyberslacking yakni sebesar 0,004 (p < 0,05). Maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel regulasi diri terhadap perilaku cyberslacking.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship of spirituality, gratitude and patience to the happiness of student colleges memorizing the Quran in Pondok Pesantren An Nur Ngrukem Bantul Yogyakarta. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between spirituality, gratitude and patience to the happiness of student colleges memorizing the Quran. The subject of this study is student colleges who are memorizing the Qur'an at the boarding school An Nur Ngrukem Bantul Yogyakarta amounted to 120 people. This research used is regression analysis that is processed by using SPSS 17 for windows. Regression test results show: 1) There is a relationship between spirituality, gratitude and patience to the happiness of the student colleges memorizing the Qur'an with the coefficient of correlation F = 18.858 with a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05) which means significant. 2) There is a positive relationship between spirituality with happiness, the value of r = 0.197 with a significance value of 0.032 (p <0.01) which means very significant. 3) There is no relationship between gratitude with happiness, value r = 0.058 with significance value 0.532 (p> 0.05) which means not significant. 4) There is a relationship between patience with happiness, with the value of r = 0.367 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) which means significant. Spirituality, gratitude and patience jointly affect the happiness of the Qur'an memorizing student colleges. Spirituality and patience are the variables that can affect happiness in a positive direction. The higher the spirituality and patience of the Quran memorizing student colleges the higher their happiness will be. Keywords: Spirituality, Gratitude, Patience, Happiness.
