Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy with self-adjustment. The hypothesis of this study states that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and self-adjustment, assuming that the higher the self-efficacy is, the higher the self-adjustment is, and conversely the lower the self-efficacy is, the lower the self-adjustment is. The subjects of this study were 81freshman college student at faculty of nursing and midwifery of Sari Mutiara University Medan. Datas were obtained from scales used to measure self-efficacy and self-adjustment. Calculations were performed by testing the analysis requirements (assumption) that consisted of tests for normality and linearity. The data were analyzed using Product Moment Correlation with SPSS 18 for Windows. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient was 0.739 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). It showed that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and self-adjustment. The results of this study indicate that the contributions made by the variable of self-efficacy on selfadjustment was 54.6 percent, while the remaining 45.4 percent was influenced by other factors that were notexamined Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara self-efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri, dengan asumsi semakin tinggi self-efficacy, maka semakin tinggi penyesuaian diri dan sebaliknya semakin rendah self-efficacy, maka semakin rendah penyesuaian diri. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa/mahasiswi fakultas keperawatan dan kebidanan semester awal yang merantau di Universitas Sari Mutiara Medan sebanyak 81orang. Data diperoleh dari skala untuk mengukur self-efficacy dan penyesuaian diri. Perhitungan dilakukan dengan melakukan uji prasyarat analisis (uji asumsi) yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan korelasi Product Moment melalui bantuan SPSS 18 for Windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0.739 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Ini menunjukkan ada hubungan positif antara self-efficacy dengan penyesuaian diri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan yang diberikan variabel selfefficacy terhadap penyesuaian diri sebesar 54.6 persen, selebihnya 45.4 persen di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Sejak pemberlakuan perubahan sistem edukasi selama pandemi covid 19, banyak dampak yang mempengaruhi kehidupan remaja khususnya pada kesehatan mental. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kurangnya perhatian akan hal tersebut khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan dimana masyarakat masih belum memahami pentingnya kesehatan mental di zaman sekarang. Terbentuknya SELA (Self Awareness) Campaign bertujuan untuk mengedukasi pentingnya edukasi kesadaran mental khususnya kepada remaja. Dalam pembahasannya, edukasi dan pemaparan informasi mengenai kesehatan mental sendiri tidak cukup untuk membuat remaja agar tertarik dan terdorong untuk mempelajarinya lebih lanjut. Dilihat dari keseluruhan permasalahan kesehatan mental remaja, dapat disimpulkan bahwa yang melatarbelakangi munculnya masalah kesehatan mental adalah kesadaran diri mereka yang kurang dalam mempelajari diri sendiri, dalam hal ini dikatakan dengan self awareness atau kesadaran diri. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan edukasi konvensional yang interaktif, santai dan tidak invasif dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran mental remaja Desa Paya Bakung. Tahapan kegiatan mulai dari pemberian pretest posttest, psikoedukasi, pemaparan edukasi dan terakhir evaluasi berlangsung selama 3 bulan yang diawali oleh sosialisasi program dan koordinasi dengan pihak Desa Paya Bakung. Metode penyuluhan bersifat konvensional yang melibatkan pelaksana langsung dengan mitra. Pada hasil kegiatan yang dilaksanakan, adanya peningkatan kesadaran mental melalui pengukuran dengan pretest dan postest yang mengalami kenaikan rata-rata 29%. Hal ini menunjukkan keantusiasan dari peserta untuk memperoleh informasi dan memahami lebih dalam mengenai kesadaran mental.

Abstract

Pelita Harapan Orphanage has endeavored to nurture and care for the children in various aspects, including education, physical health, and spiritual development. However, the educational services in the orphanage face a major problem related to the limited number and educational backgrounds of the caregivers, which hinder the nurturing process in the orphanage. The formal education received by the foster children is still considered insufficient in enhancing their character and skills to meet future demands. The informal learning in the orphanage has not undergone updates like those implemented in modern schools today, thus not providing optimal improvement in the learning abilities and character of the children in the orphanage. To address this issue, a soft skills approach is implemented to shape the character and develop the skills of the orphanage children. This approach involves a learning and character-building process through engaging and motivating activities that encourage critical thinking and exploration of new things. This process also adheres to ethical values, local wisdom, understanding of national diversity, and care for the environment. This research aims to enhance the soft skills of the children in Pelita Harapan Orphanage, with a focus on building a strong character, developing social and intellectual skills, and preparing them to face a complex future. The research methodology involves preparation, problem identification, observation in the orphanage, and interviews with relevant parties. With the soft skills approach, it is expected that the children in Pelita Harapan Orphanage can become resilient individuals capable of critical thinking, creativity, and innovation in facing various unpredictable situations and conditions. Through a combination of attitude, knowledge, and skills competencies, the foster children have the potential to maximize their self-development and make positive contributions to society.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di SD Santa Thomas 5 Medan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan mengajarkan bagaimana cara berkomunikasi yang baik dengan orang sekitar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah dengan psikoedukasi yang di ikuti oleh siswa/i kelas 6 SD. pendekatan psikoedukasi yang diberikan pada kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini merupakan penggabungan beberapa metode diantaranya penyampaian materi melalui ceramah, diskusi tanya jawab, bermain peran cara berkomunikasi yang baik dan games terkait komunikasi. Adapun bahan yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai pemahaman siswa-siswa terhadap kegiatan psikoedukasi berkomunikasi yang baik adalah dengan wawancara dan observasi yang dimodifikasi melalui kegiatan games dan kuis.Hasil yang didapatkan dari Psikoedukasi yaitu membantu siswa yang mengalami kendala untuk berinteraksi sosial, sehingga lebih mudah memahami komunikasi yang baik, karena kegitan bersifat interaktif dan aplikatif serta membantu siswa/i memahami cara berkomunikasi yang baik.

Abstract

This research was carried out at Raksana Private Junior High School in Medan. The study was conducted to determine the interpersonal relationship with school well-being among Raksana Medan Private Junior High School students. The population and sample determined in this study are 119 students of SMP Raksana Medan. Samples were obtained using the Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaire distribution efforts across samples. Furthermore, it is analyzed through the use of multiple regression analysis. The hypothesis test proves a correlation between School Well-Being and Interpersonal Relationships, as evidenced by the F test obtained F = 24.840 and p= 0.000(p<0.05). The Asusmsi test includes the normality test and the linearity test. Data analysis was done using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, assisted by SPSS Statistics 27 software for Windows. The resulting research showed a fundamental contribution of 18.3 percent of School Well-Being and interpersonal relationships; the remaining 81.7 percent came from other factors that were not studied. The results of this finding mean that higher school well-being can also increase students' interpersonal relationships. Conversely, low school well-being can also cause students' interpersonal relationships to be low.

This research was executed at SMP Swasta Raksana Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine the interpersonal relationship with school well-being in students of SMP Swasta Raksana Medan. A total of 119 students of SMP Raksana Medan were used as the population and in the study conducted. The sample was obtained through the use of the Disproportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to all samples. Furthermore, it was analyzed through the use of multiple regression analysis. A real correlation was found between School Well-Being and Interpersonal Relationships, as evidenced by the F test obtained F = 24,840 and p = 0.000 (p <0.05). Assumption tests include normality tests and linearity tests. Data analysis was carried out through multiple linear regression analysis techniques assisted by SPSS Statistic 27 for windows software. The resulting research showed a real contribution of 18.3 percent from School Well-Being School well-being and interpersonal relationships, the remaining 81.7 percent came from other factors not studied. This finding means that higher School Well-Being can also make students' interpersonal relationships high. Conversely, low School Well-Being can also make students' interpersonal relationships low.
