Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of practicum video with electronics module toward process skills and how far the influence of stoichiometry materials of the grade X of SMA Negeri 2 Tidore Islands. This study used experiment research. The study design was experiment with One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population was the grade X students of SMAN 2 Tidore Islands. The sample was class X1chosen randomly. Data analysis technique was through statistical descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis which used SPSS 16. The results of hypothesis testing showed that sig <0,05 and t count > t table then the use of practicum video and electronic modules influence the process skills of students. Gain value is 85% indicating a high interpretations to the improvement process skills of students. Keywords: process skills, electronics modul,  practicum video

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe peer tutoring dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Morotai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Morotai. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe peer tutoring dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil persentase angket motivasi tergolong tinggi dan hasil pengujian hipotesis bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan nilai thitung (5,75) ttabel (1,68). Besar peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif dengan uji N-Gain sebesar 0,65 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil belajar afektif dan psikomotorik rata-rata siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol.Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Tipe Peer Tutoring, Pendekatan Saintifik, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Kelarutan dan Hasil Kali Kelarutan Abstract This research aimed to determine the effect of peer tutoring type of cooperative learning model with a scientific approach on increasing motivation and learning outcomes of solubility and solubility product of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Morotai. The research used the experimental types with pretest-posttest control group design. Population of this research was all eleventh grade student of SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Morotai. The sample selection was done by cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the cooperative learning model of the peer tutoring type with a scientific approach to increasing motivation and learning outcomes of solubility material and solubility product, as indicated by the results of the motivational questionnaire percentage, which was high, and the results of testing the hypothesis that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted with a value of tcount (5.75) ttable (1.68). Great increase in cognitive learning outcomes with the N-Gain test of 0.65 in the medium category. The average affective and psychomotor learning outcomes of the experimental class students were better than those of the control class.Keywords:Cooperative Peer TutoringType, Scientific Approach, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcome, Solubility and Solubility Product

Abstract

Methylene blue is a harmful synthetic dye waste component that poses a significant threat to the environment and human health if not disposed of properly. The best way to tackle this problem is by adsorption through activated carbon from Mulu Bebe banana stems, which are widely available in North Maluku. This agricultural waste can be used to produce activated carbon through pyrolysis at 500ËšC for 30 minutes and activation using 0.5 M KOH solution for 24 hours. The activated carbon is then characterized using FTIR, SEM and XRD, which reveal the presence of various functional groups and pores. The XRD results indicate that the activated carbon structure tends to be amorphous. The adsorption analysis shows that the activated carbon from Mulu Bebe banana stems has a high adsorption capacity of 12.4 mg/g at the optimum condition of pH 7, contact time of 30 minutes, and initial concentration of 50 ppm. The Langmuir and Freundlich equations provide the best fit for the equilibrium adsorption data. By using activated carbon from Mulu Bebe banana stems, we can effectively reduce the amount of methylene blue waste in the environment and protect the ecosystem and human health.
