Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of electronic word of mouth variables through promotions on social media. The use of social media to market products is very interesting to observe, especially in terms of looking at customer behavior. The sample for this research is consumers who have purchased Somethinc products, who have seen promotions on social media about Somethinc products and are active followers of Somethinc social media. The sample for carrying out this research test was 100 people who were calculated using the hair formula. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, f tests and t tests. The results of the following research show that the electronic word of mouth variable has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. Social media promotion has a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The influence variables of electronic word of mouth and promotions on social media jointly influence purchasing decisions. Suggestions for Somethingc to improve e-WOM, promotions on social media to increase purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to determine the impact of the Monday effect and Weekend effect on the daily stock Returns of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from April 2020 to April 2021. The research analysis method used multiple linear regression with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. A total of 11 companies from the sub-sector were selected as the population for this study, and after applying purposive sampling method, a sample of 9 companies was obtained from the total population. The daily stock Returns calculation in this research was based on the closing prices. The study found that the Monday effect variable had no significant partial impact on stock Returns. However, the Weekend effect variable had a significant partial impact on stock Returns, and both the Monday effect and Weekend effect variables together had an impact on daily stock Returns. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, and dividend policy on firm value in healthcare sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2020 period. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 14 companies. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis on panel data, namely classical assumption test, model feasibility test and hypothesis testing. The results show that: 1) profitability has no effect on firm value, 2) liquidity has no effect on firm value, 3) dividend policy affects firm value, 4) profitability, liquidity, and dividend policy simultaneously affect firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of liquidity, solvency and activity on firm value with profitability as intervening variables. The research population is the food and beverage companies listed on the IDX in 2016-2020. This study use quantitative methods with secondary data obtained from financial statements and use panel data. There are 23 samples from purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method is multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The results showed: liquidity have no effect on firm value, solvency have an effect on firm value, activities have an effect on firm value, liquidity have a significant effect on profitability, solvency have no effect on profitability, activity have a significant effect on profitability, profitability have an effect on firm value, profitability can mediate liquidity on firm value, profitability is not able to mediate solvency on firm value, and profitability can mediate activity on firm value.

Abstract

The utilization of eggshell waste offers a sustainable solution to reducing the environmental impact of organic waste while providing economic value to local communities. This program aims to develop educational strategies and community empowerment through practical training on processing eggshell waste into value-added products. Implemented using a participatory approach, the activity actively engaged community members in both learning and hands-on practice. The training focused on transforming eggshells into organic fertilizer, handicrafts, and animal feed additives. The event was conducted on October 2, 2025, in Pancoran, South Jakarta, in collaboration with the Family Welfare Movement (PKK) RW 3 as the primary community partner. PKK’s strategic role in fostering community welfare and facilitating information dissemination made them an ideal collaborator for this initiative. The success of the program is reflected in increased community knowledge and skills, strong participant engagement, the emergence of recycling-based entrepreneurial ideas, and strengthened partnerships between the implementation team, PKK RW 3 Pancoran, and the local community.

Abstract

According to the Financial Services Authority (OJK), financial literacy constitutes the knowledge, skills, and confidence that influence attitudes and behaviors in decision-making and financial management to achieve financial well-being. This understanding is crucial from an early age, particularly for Generation Z, who are growing up in a digital era and facing increasingly complex financial dynamics. This Community Service (PKM) activity, conducted by lecturers from Kalbis University at SMK Handayani Manggar, East Belitung, aims to enhance students' financial literacy through direct education on personal financial management. The activity was held on December 12, 2024, using a participatory approach that covered personal financial management, the distinction between needs and wants, savings and investment, and financial management strategies tailored for Generation Z. The indicators of success for this activity were evident from the high level of enthusiasm and active participation of 85 students in discussion sessions, improved understanding shown by the students' ability to identify spending priorities, and a strong desire to implement independent personal financial recording post-activity.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether there is an effect of acquisitions on the financial performance of non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. To measure financial performance in this study, researchers used financial ratios: current ratio (CR), quick ratio (QR), net profit margin (NPM), return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), total asset turnover (TATO), and debt to equity (DER). This study applied quantitative methods and sampling techniques using purposive sampling techniques with criteria determined by the author. The samples processed were 30 companies in the non-financial sector that carried out acquisition activities in 2017-2020. Financial ratios are processed with a period of two years before to two years after the acquisition. Hypothesis testing, this study uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Tests. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it shows that the financial ratios of liquidity, profitability, activity, and solvency do not experience a significant difference after carrying out acquisition activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of transaction smoothness, savings security, and user convenience on user loyalty of the Bank Jago application. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling and the sampling used was purposive sampling with a sample of 180 people. The target respondents were Gen Z as users of the Bank Jago application in Jakarta. The measurement scale in this study used a Likert scale. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using multiple linear regression models. The results of this study indicate that transaction smoothness has no influence on user loyalty, savings security and ease of use partially have an influence on user loyalty, and transaction smoothness, savings security, and ease of use simultaneously have an influence on user loyalty.
