Abstract

Adolescents are one of the age groups that are prone to problems. One of the most common nutritional problems is anemia. Riskesdas 2018 prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is 23.7 percent, based on the age group 15 sampai 24 it is 32 percent. While the prevalence of anemia in women is 27.2 percent and in men is 20.3 percent. This nutrition education aims to change the knowledge and attitudes of young women and provide information about anemia to prevent anemia. The selection of video media adapts to the character of teenagers who are interested in interesting things and are very easily bored. Objectives: to study and determine the effect of nutrition education on anemia with video media on the knowledge and attitudes of young women about anemia at SMAN 1 Nganjuk. Methods: This is a quasi experimental study with a non equivalent control group design. The research sample was 30 respondents in the control and treatment groups with a purposive sampling technique. Data processing using SPSS application. Statistical analysis using the Kolmogorov Smirnov, Wilcoxon, paired sample t test, and Umann Whitney test. Result: The results showed that there were differences in knowledge and attitudes before and after education in the treatment group (p less than 0.05). There was no difference before and after education in the control group (p more than 0.05). Abstract

Latar Belakang : Balita merupakan kelompok rentan terhadap masalah gizi kurang ataupun gizi buruk, salah satu penanganan masalah gizi tersebut adalah dengan Pemberian Makanan Tambahan Tinggi Energi dan Tinggi Protein pada balita sesuai kebutuhan gizi berdasarkan AKG 2019 dengan memanfaatkan pangan lokal seperti ikan lele, kacang hijau dan wortel. Tujuan : Untuk menganalisis daya terima dan kandungan gizi nugget ikan lele dengan penambahan kacang hijau dan wortel sebagai makanan tambahan balita dengan berat badan kurang. Metode : Jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan 3 taraf perlakuan, parameter penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap produk yaitu uji organoleptik pada 15 panelis menggunakan uji Kruskal Willis dan Mann Whitney dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95 persen, menghitung komposisi energi dan zat gizi menggunakan Calculated Value, mutu protein dan perlakuan terbaik. Hasil : Nugget ikan lele dengan penambahan kacang hijau dan wortel memberikan pengaruh terhadap mutu organoleptik yaitu warna. Warna yang paling disuka pada perlakuan P1 yang memiliki rata rata 3,85. Kandungan protein tertinggi pada perlakuan P2 sebesar 4,95g per 50g, kadar lemak tertinggi pada perlakuan P2 sebesar 3,98g per 50 g, dan kadar karbohidrat tertinggi P2 sebesar 144,8g per 50g. Mutu cerna protein tertinggi pada perlakuan P1 yaitu NPU 93,8 dan BV 100 persen. Kesimpulan : Formulasi terbaik nugget ikan lele pada perlakuan P1 dan memberikan kontribusi zat gizi terhadap AKG balita (1 s.d 3 tahun) sebesar energi 11 persen, protein 24 persen, lemak 9 persen, karbohidrat 10 persen, vitamin A 13 persen dan zat besi 20 persen. Kata Kunci : Nagget ikan lele: kacang hijau: wortel: Balita: Underweight.

Abstract

Cases of stunting toddlers based on Basic Health Research or RISKESDAS in 2018 amounted to 30 percent, for East Java at 33 percent, while based on the results of baseline data in Wandanpuro Village, Bululawang Malang Subdistrict in 2018 by 38 percent. To analyze the effect of breastfeeding media, Dr. Utami Roesli, counseling on behavior and consumption level namely energy and nutrients in third trimester pregnant women in Wandanpuro Village, Bululawang District, Malang Regency. This type of research is Pre experiment, using the design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The independent variable of this study was breastfeeding counseling with flipchart media, Dr. Utami Roesli, and the dependent variables were behavior, diet, and consumption level of third trimester pregnant women. The population in this study were 15 third trimester pregnant women in Wandanpuro Village as many as 15 people. The provision of breastfeeding media counseling, Dr. Utami Roesli, gave a significant influence on knowledge namely p equal 0.001, attitude namely p equal 0.001, skills namely p equal 0.000, eating patterns in the animal food group namely p equal 0,034, vegetables and fruit namely p equal 0,018, energy consumption level namely p equal 0,000 and fat consumption level namely p equal 0,009. There are significant differences in knowledge, attitudes, skills, diet for animal food groups, vegetables and fruit, energy and fat consumption levels. However, there are insignificant differences in the diet of grains, tubers, oils and fats, oily fruits and seeds, nuts, sugar, levels of protein and carbohydrate consumption.

Abstract

In Indonesia showed that the number of anemia prevalence in adolescent girl equals to 30 percent. In Malang district, the prevalence of anemia in adolescent girl equals to 20,28 percent. In case, because of the situation, giving a trial of education about nutrition balance to reduce the case of anemia in adolescent girl in Malang district. The type of this research is an evaluation study with pre experimental design with one group pretest and posttest. The evaluation in nutrition education are used for the function to explain the phenomenon that occurs because giving a nutrtional education. This research was be held on October until December 2017. The population was take from 4 Senior High School, that is SMAN 1 Gondanglegi, SMA Islam Kepanjen, SMAN 1 Lawang, and SMAN 1 Singosari. The number of respondents in this study is 135 persons. Education intervention was given by module about balance nutrition with 20 material for 3 months. The result of this study showed that the difference between the level of knowledge before and after nutritional education were significant, showed by the average number of pretest about knowledge is 56,68, and the average number of posttest about knowledge is 66,67. The average of consumption rate increased after intervention compared before intervention, but at the average of vitamin A consumption was decreased after education but the number of consumption rate above the number of nutritional adequacy rate. The number of anemia also decreased after nutritional education. Before educations the amount of anemia respondent are 121 persons, then decreased be 93 person after education. So that, Nutritional education with variative education is required suistainable for adolescent girl, as part as prevention of nutrient anemia during pregnancy while to prevent low birth weight cases.

Abstract

Anemia in pregnant women is a nutritional problem that has not yet been solved. The cause of anemia is directly due to the unavailability of sufficient nutrients in the body and indirectly caused by a lack of knowledge of pregnant women. This study aimed to determine the difference in the knowledge of pregnant women with lecture method counseling using the educational media Nutrilove website. This type of research is a quasi-experimental non-randomized control group pre-test post-test design. The sample consisted of 24 pregnant women in Wandanpuro Bululawang Village who were divided into 2 groups, the control group consisted of 12 pregnant women who were not given any intervention and the intervention group consisted of 12 people who were given lectures using the Nutrilove website media. The knowledge score was carried out 2 times, before and 3 weeks after the intervention and   grouped into 3 categories, good, sufficient, and poor. Statistical tests used paired sample t-test and independent t-test. There was a significant difference in knowledge before and after intervention (p=0.005) and a significant difference in the knowledge of pregnant women between the control group and the treatment group (p=0.001). The counseling method using the Nutrilove website media can increase pregnant women's knowledge about the importance of consuming iron and folic acid in preventing anemia.
