Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh perangkat pembelajaran berupa Lembar Kerja Mahasiswa berbasis pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education yang valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Geometri Analitik Bidang. Proses pengembangan LKM menggunakan model 4-D Thiagarajan. Instrumen-instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran LKM, (2) lembar observasi, (3) angket respons mahasiswa, dan (4) tes berupa pretest dan posttest yang mengukur kemampuan literasi mahasiswa pada materi Geometri Analitik Bidang. Tes ini digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan literasi mahasiswa yang terdiri dari level 1-6 sesuai dengan framework PISA. LKM berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh dua ahli kemudian dianalisis dengan validitas isi Gregory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKM yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid dan efektif berdasarkan penilaian validator dan hasil uji coba yang dilaksanakan. Kevalidan perangkat lebih dari 75% atau V > 75%. Ini menunjukkan bahwa LKM yang dihasilkan berada pada kategori valid atau inferensia yang dilakukan adalah sahih. Keefektifan perangkat ditunjukkan dengan terpenuhinya 3 dari 4 indikator kefektifan yang ditetapkan, antara lain: (1) Rata-rata kemampuan literasi matematika mahasiswa berada pada level “sedang” (2) terpenuhinya 7 dari 9 kategori aktivitas siswa, (3) Semua mahasiswa memberikan respon positif sebesar 100% dari tiap aspek yang direspon.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan penyusunan proposal program kreativitas mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menulis proposal PKM. Sasaran kegiatan adalah mahasiswa STKIP Andi Matappa sebanyak 40 orang. Pelaksanaan pengabdian secara online via Zoom. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, penugasan dan Pendampingan. Kegiatan pengabdian mulai dari tahap persiapan yakni observasi dan sosialisasi, sedangkan untuk pelaksanaan  mulai  dari  penyajian  materi,  praktik,  refleksi  dan  evaluasi.  Hasil kegiatan pengabdian adalah (1) terdapat peningkatan kepecayaan, pemahaman dan pengetahuan terhadap proposal PKM 5 bidang yang ditawarkan oleh pemerintah melaui Belmawa; (2) kegiatan pengabdian masayarakat telah berhasil dilaksanakan dengan baik dan lancar, keberhasilan ini ditunjukkan dengan meningkatkanya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menulis ide, judul, dan format proposal PKM sesuai   5   bidang;   (3)   meningkatknya   pengetahuan   dan   keterampilan   peserta menyusun proposal PKM dan mekanisme pengusulan proposal PKM; (4) peserta pelatihan telah menghasilkan produk berupa proposal PKM 5 Bidang.

Abstract

. Tujuan IbM ini adalah untuk memecahkan masalah prioritas yang disepakati oleh Tim Pelaksana dan Mitra, yaitu cara melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) hingga pembuatan laporannya. Melalui pelatihan ini, diharapkan dihasilkan laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, artikel untuk dipublikasi di jurnal ber-ISSN dan sertifikat bagi peserta pelatihan. Sebagai upaya menyelesaikan persoalan mitra di atas, ditawarkan metode Pelatihan PTK yang Berorientasi Laporan Hasil Penelitian. Selanjutnya, untuk mendukung realisasi metode yang ditawarkan, prosedur kerja metode ini adalah pengenalan konsep dasar PTK, penyajian cara praktis melakukan PTK dan membuat laporan hasil pelaksanaannya, serta membimbing dan menuntun guru-guru mitra secara intensif dengan alokasi waktu yang relatif banyak untuk berdiskusi tentang pelaksanaan PTK hingga diperoleh sebuah produk berupa laporan penelitian tindakan kelas dan artikel untuk dipublikasi di jurnal ber-ISSN.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study that uses a Quasi Experimental approach which aims to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on problem solving skills in terms of mathematical self-efficacy of MTs Nuhiyah Pambusuang. The population in this study were all seventh grades students of 2023/2024schools year , composed of 4 classes and the research sample were class VIIA with the Problem Based Learning model in pairs and VIID with the Problem Based Learning models in groups. Data collection techniques used pre-tests and post-tests to measure students ' problem solving abilities before and after applied the model and questionnaires related to students' self-efficacy. The data analysis techniques used ANAKOVA. The results of the study showed the Problem Based Learning model had an effect on students ' mathematical problem-solving skills as seen from the significant differences between pretest and posttest results and the gain in problem solving skills were in the medium category . However , the average gain value of problem-solving abilities of Problem Based Learning model in pairs is higher than the Problem Based Learning models in groups . In addition , Self-Efficacy had no effect on the problem-solving abilities of seventh grades of MTs Nuhiyah Pambusuang.

Abstract

The present study compared the quality of student projects in reviewing literature from reputable journals using computer-assisted project-based learning (CPjBL) and traditional project-based learning (PjBL). This experimental study involved students from a research methodology course at a private university. Experimental group one implemented CPjBL, and experimental group two applied PjBL. The analysis results showed a mean score of 76.41, a standard deviation value of 9.105 for CPjBL, a mean score of 69.78, and a standard deviation value of 9.983 for PjBL. These results suggest that while the mean score of CPjBL was higher than that of PjBL, the difference was insignificant. In conclusion, in a research methodology course, CPjBL is suitable for helping students generate research ideas by optimizing software to review literature from reputable journals.

Abstract

Mathematical communication ability is an essential 21st century skill that needs to be possessed by mathematics education students. However, initial studies show that students often experience difficulties in conveying mathematical ideas in writing and visually, which is partly due to the use of conventional learning models that do not support interaction and exploration. This study aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills in the context of project- based learning, as well as to identify the forms of mathematical communication that emerge and the factors that influence them. This research used descriptive qualitative approach with case study method. The subjects consisted of 9 students of Mathematics Education Study Program of Maros Muslim University who were selected purposively. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and project documentation, then analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students' oral communication and visual representation developed significantly through group discussions and project presentations. However, aspects of written communication were still weak, especially in the use of logical structure and consistency of mathematical symbols. The implication of this finding indicates the need to strengthen the written communication aspect through the integration of mathematical writing exercises in the curriculum, as well as the provision of learning spaces that support students' courage in communicating reflectively and structurally
