Abstract

Traditional Nusantara culinary is a food that is a characteristic or identity of Indonesia and regions that are inherited from generation to generation, this archipelago culinary has a close relationship and is related to the people of Indonesia. Culinary has an important role for the adaptation process, if there is an Indonesian citizen who is in a domestic relationship with a foreign citizen. This research aims to find out how traditional culinary in the archipelago can support the cultural adaptation process. This research uses Eriyanto's qualitative content analysis method and uses the theory of cultural adaptation and this research was conducted by observing Shanty's YouTube channel in China who is an Indonesia citizen who has married a foreign citizen and chose to live in China. Then document by screen capturing the content of Shanty's YouTube channel in China which depicts cultural adaptation through culinary and conducting a literature study by searching for various related journals. The author has conducted research on culinary adaptations on Shanty's YouTube channel in China. The findings of this study can be concluded that on Shanty's Youtube channel in China, most of the ways of adapting using traditional Nusantara cuisine such as selling traditional Nusantara food through food trucks so that here it is illustrated that the many varieties of Nusantara culinary that are sold have an important role in supporting the cultural adaptation process. The implications that occur here can certainly attract the surrounding community to try and taste the culinary, if the person feels like or is interested in trying it and then the next day he comes back to buy the food again, then it can be ensured that cultural adaptation through culinary will be successful because unconsciously there has been a closeness between Shanty in China and the Chinese people.

Abstract

Tik Tok is a very popular social media, especially in terms of marketing, education and social campaigns. Marketing via Tik Tok in creative terms has a tremendous impact on users. One of the Tik Tok users of the @Mojokerto account goes for a walk using creative videos in tourism marketing in Mojokerto. This research aims to find out how the Tik Tok @Mojokerto account works in marketing tourism in Mojokerto. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a content analysis approach according to Klaus Krippendorff and uses content analysis theory, tourism theory and message theory. The results of the findings of this research can be concluded that the Tik Tok account @Mojokerto provides marketing via video by conveying informative and persuasive messages related to tourism with effective and easy to understand message delivery so that the audience can give Likes, Comments, Shares. Thus, the role of the Tik Tok @Mojokerto traveling account in increasing visitors to tourism in Mojokerto can be seen as a result of effective promotion through social media platforms such as TikTok.

Abstract

The 2024 presidential and vice-presidential election also be an opportunity for the public to actively participate in the democratic process. One issue concerns the communication style of vice-presidential candidate Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the fourth round of the vice-presidential debate. The aim of this study is to identify the communication style demonstrated by Gibran Rakabuming Raka during the discussion. The data used for this research was taken from Kompas TV programs on the YouTube channel. The theoretical approaches used include Gibran’s Communication Style Theory and Carl Gustav Jung’s Communication Style Approach to better understand the characteristics and dynamics of communication. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with content analysis, analyzing data from the discussion videos which serve as the main source of information. The results show that Gibran Rakabuming Raka's communication style in the fourth round of the vice-presidential debate reflects a unique blend of control style theory and social style theory elements.

Abstract

Movies always construct how reality happens in the real world, many things can be constructed and discussed in a film, one of which is about liberal feminism, liberal feminism is a view to place women to have full and individual freedom. This research will discuss how the construction of liberal feminism reality in the Barbie (2023) movie by Greta Gerwig. The purpose of this study is to find out how the construction of liberal feminism reality is depicted in the Barbie (2023) movie by Greta Gerwig. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method using a content analysis approach. By referring to the theory of liberal feminism, this study produces a conclusion about the existence of a scene about liberal feminism, precisely about the freedom of women to do anything in their lives such as the freedom to achieve dreams, the freedom to be a leader, the freedom to do good, the freedom to fight oppression, the freedom to get happiness, and the freedom to receive awards which are part of the construction of the reality of the world today. The construction of reality appears in a Barbie movie because the director of this Barbie movie wants to show how the state of the world now often makes all women feel threatened and not free to do anything according to their wishes, besides that through this movie the director of the movie wants that there will be no more injustice or unfreedom for women. The implications that occur here can certainly make the audience who has watched this movie can treat anyone, especially women, well, namely giving justice and freedom wherever they are and the audience can understand that the movie is created from the existing reality, then neatly constructed into a movie by presenting a moral message that is useful for anyone.

Abstract

Often we are forced by the environment to always be adaptive and responsive to various situations. Situations full of pressure, competition, and conflict, make someone must act to immediately find a solution. In the world of students, things like that often cause a dilemma of its own. The academic world and the social world are 2 things that students face every day. In addition to stuttering in dealing with lecture materials that are completely different from their high school years, they also have to experience problems in social relations that are no less complicated. Situations like this cause many students to get duck syndrome, which is a condition where someone looks fine, even though they are struggling as hard as possible to overcome the various problems they are facing. This term is taken from the analogy of a duck in a river that swims gracefully to and fro, even though its feet under the surface of the water are constantly moving to keep its body balanced so it doesn't sink. Students who have just come out of high school face completely new academic and social problems in their campus environment. They try their best to solve problems without being seen in their appearance. Ups and downs are done so that the problems that surround them are quickly resolved. Their performance is still cheerful, happy, and problem-free. If things like this are left alone, it is feared that their performance will not be optimal. They are haunted by constant anxiety, maintain unconscious barriers, and do not find a solution to the problem. With the descriptive method, an overview of how this syndrome affects many students is generated. They are confused about the situation and conditions in their environment. There are some students who can get up and introspect, then look for solutions by communicating their shortcomings and mistakes. But there are also some who still stutter and fail to cope with their academic and social life. Assertive communication offers a solution. Assertive communication is a communication process that dares to express ideas, ideas, criticism, without hurting or demeaning others. This style of communication is usually ideal for dealing with any kind of situation. But apparently not all students can take advantage of it. The ability of students to manage anxiety is different. It is hoped that with assertive communication students can solve the problems they face, so that they do not affect their achievements in the future

Abstract

Hoax is a form of fraudulent message that is made intentionally. Information that is factual is often mingled with hoaxes through social media. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many hoaxes emerged about the COVID-19 vaccine. Starting from the side effects, the dangers of the vaccine, the content of the vaccine, and much more. The purpose of this study was to find out the contents of hoax messages on Instagram @turnbackhoaxid about the covid-19 vaccine (December 2020-January 2021) Researchers get hoax messages from data that has been collected from the @turnbackhoaxid instagram account and then analyzed using content analysis with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results obtained that the hoax messages have the following characteristics: there is no news editor, the message is sensational, the content of the message conveyed contains discriminatory elements, there is no date of occurrence, the place of incident is not clear, the storyline is illogical. While the content of the word proactive could not be found. Then in the category of messages used that are expired, and contain elements of SARA, they can be found but in small quantities. In this case, it can be concluded that the vaccine hoax messages that appeared during the months of December 2020 to January 2021 did not contain proactive words containing an invitation to redistribute. In addition, the hoax messages made are generally in the form of personal opinions that focus on discussing the side effects of the covid-19 vaccine.

Abstract

Abstrak Dalam menghadapi dunia yang serba digital memang dibutuhkan inovasi-inovasi baru untuk bisa terus eksis dimasa-masa sulit termasuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan teknologi. Dalam hal ini kiranya sangat diperlukan intervensi dari berbagai pihak untuk dapat melakukan mentoring kepada para UMKM dalam rangka menuju era UMKM Maju Digital di Indonesia. Terlebih dari semua hal yang sudah disebutkan. UMKM harus bisa memiliki identitas diri yang paten. Hal ini bisa menimbulkan masalah, masalah yang mungkin saja dialami oleh pelaku UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) yaitu kurangnya pemahaman mengenai Branding. Salah satunya adalah UMKM JIFU (kanji tofu) sebagai mitra UMKM yang menerima mentoring untuk kegiatan rebranding.Setelah proses rebranding dilakukan, JIFU terus berkembang kedepannya, perlahan tapi memberikan hasil yang positif. Terutama setelah pemanfaatan media sosial dan sales channel seperti memperkenalkan melalui Instagram dan whattsapp businness, didaftarkan di stratup gofood, grabfood, shopeefood dan menyediakan layanan pembayaran secara elektronik melalui platform pembayaran online Qris membuat semua menjadi lebih dekat serta mudah diakses oleh masyarakat sehingga ini sangatlah membantu JIFU yang merupakan UMKM pemula ini agar tetap eksis dan makin berkembang untuk kedepannya. Abstract In the face of an all-digital world, new innovations are indeed needed to be able to continue to exist in difficult times, including following the developments of the times and technology. In this case, intervention from various parties is needed to be able to provide mentoring to MSMEs in the context of the era of Digital Advanced MSMEs in Indonesia. More than all the things that have been mentioned. MSMEs must be able to have a patent identity. This can cause problems, problems that may be experienced by SMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), namely a lack of understanding of Branding. One of them is JIFU MSMEs (kanji tofu) as MSME partners who receive mentoring for rebranding activities. After the rebranding process is carried out, JIFU continues to grow in the future, slowly but giving positive results. Especially after the use of social media and sales channels such as introducing through Instagram and WhatsApp business, being registered at the gofood, grabfood, shopeefood startups and providing electronic payment services through the Qris online payment platform, making everything closer and easily accessible to the public so this is very helpful for JIFU which is a beginner MSME in order to continue to exist and grow in the future.

Abstract

Masalah lalu lintas di Kabupaten Mojokerto mengalami peningkatan seiring pertumbuhan kendaraan yang tidak sebanding dengan infrastruktur jalan, sehingga memerlukan dukungan masyarakat melalui peran Sukarelawan Pengatur Lalu Lintas (Supeltas). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif antara anggota Polres Mojokerto dan Supeltas sebagai bentuk kolaborasi strategis dalam pengaturan lalu lintas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana komunikasi interpersonal yang dijalin oleh anggota kepolisian memengaruhi efektivitas kerja, partisipasi, serta loyalitas Supeltas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif terhadap anggota Polres Mojokerto dan Supeltas di wilayah Mojosari dan Ngoro. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan bersifat dua arah, dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial-budaya, serta menggunakan unsur verbal dan nonverbal secara adaptif. Pendekatan komunikasi yang empatik, terbuka, dan kolaboratif terbukti meningkatkan koordinasi, rasa percaya, dan partisipasi sukarelawan dalam menjalankan tugas. Komunikasi yang dilakukan juga berperan sebagai jembatan pemaknaan bersama dan alat pengambilan keputusan kolaboratif di lapangan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan komunikasi humanis bagi aparat kepolisian untuk memperkuat sinergi antara institusi dan masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, komunikasi interpersonal menjadi kunci keberhasilan kemitraan strategis antara Polres Mojokerto dan Supeltas, serta berkontribusi signifikan terhadap ketertiban dan keselamatan lalu lintas di wilayah tersebut.
