Kajian tentang waris merupakan kajian yang sangat berlimpah sumbernya dalam hukum Islam, selain ketentuan ayat dan hadist waris terbilang lebih lengkap dibandingkan masalah hukum lainnya. Seluruh buku fiqh klasik maupun kontemporer selalu memasukkan waris sebagai bagian kelengkapan pembahasan. Kajian lapangan berikut ini sudah tentu tidak hanya membahas masalah waris dari perspektif doktrin semata, melainkan juga sikap masyarakat adat portibi Julu Sumatera Utara menyikapi hukum waris Islam sebagai bagian dari ketentuan adat mereka. Â Â Proses penelitian menemukan bahwa bagian waris bagi anak angkat pada masyarakat Batak di desa Portibi Julu ditetapkan ketika pengangkatan anak (mangain) berlangsung. Anak angkat mendapatkan waris sebagaimana anak kandung, baik dalam persoalan jumlah maupun waktu pembagian. Walaupun terkesan menyimpang dari ketentuan hukum Islam, anak angkat menutup (hijab) ahli waris lainnya dalam mewarisi hal ini disebabkan anak angkat telah terputus hak warisnya dari orang tua kandungnya.

This paper departs from a character's study of MuhammadAli Pasha who made many innovations in the field of Islamic education. He was found asa person who has a unique side, namely his personality who has no history of educationin childhood because of the pressure of life but grew as a leader who made manyinnovations. Some innovations that can be called are its policy of putting thegovernment as the center that develops education itself. Another innovation is theongoing traditional and modern educational activities together so that the scientificscope is separated from the dichotomous aspects. Muhammad Ali Pasha was also notedas a leader who paid attention to the development and expansion of the education areaso as to bring in European teachers to be able to take their expertise and practice in theEgyptian region, besides sending Egyptian youth to study in other regions to becomecadres in the realm he wanted to grow and develop. Even so, it does not mean thatMuhammad Ali Pasha's contribution and contribution in educational innovation can beswallowed up to be realized in Islamic educational institutions. More in-depthassessment of aspects, content and impacts that have been carried out to take what isneeded and leave what is not needed.

Discourses on hadith in the Prophet?s time and His companions are important in initiating study ulum al-hadith. This is because one of the function of hadith as the explanatory verses of the Koran. This article will try to elaborate some approaches of library research in ulum al-hadith (1) How the companions received, memorized applied those hadith in their life. (2) Commands and prohibitions were not generalized to all companions in writing hadith. (3) The maintenance of hadits at the companions era from lost and also from mingled with Qur?an. (4) Distributed those hadith to the vast area of Islam at the time (5) All narrators of hadith to be agreed by scholars as good people and behavior. (6) there were some criteria of fairness for companions (?ad?lah al-?a??bah), namely, Muslims, maturity, intelligent, piety, selfrespect, avoiding him self from cases of fasiq, to be acknowledge their fairness, and free from criticism of scholars.

Tulisan ini bertujuan menguraikan korelasi dan koneksi antara pendidikan dan peradaban sebagai dua konsep yang saling berkelindan dalam narasi sejarah Islam klasik. Pendidikan Islam diketahui punya kedudukan istimewa dalam pembentukan peradaban Islam, dan sebaliknya, peradaban Islam punya kontribusi besar dalam keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pendidikan Islam. Melalui pendekatan sejarah (historical approach), tulisan ini bukan hanya menukil kembali kenangan manis terkait golden age yang pernah ada, melainkan juga menegaskan urgensi keberadaan pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk kerangka peradaban. Begitu juga sebaliknya, menekankan fungsi peradaban yang sangat penting dalam keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pendidikan Islam.

Islamic legal discourse on a practical level is often understood to be limited to the problem of istinb?t, fiqh or ushul fiqh. There is a challenge to expand it to include philosophy, normative and empirical cases. Study of manuscript is one of the related by that studies. This article presents Tanq?h al-Zun?n ?an Mas?'il al-Maim?n by Shaykh Hasan Maksum as an identifier of the political and social links to Islamic legal in the Deli Sultanate. From this it was found that the sultanate had a stake in the determination of the law as well as the role of the ulama in maintaining the attitude as a speaker of legal provisions. There are seven legal issues that are discussed normatively, and they originate from the existence of arguments in the community. This manuscript not just addition Islamic legal in the Deli Sultanate, it also showed the authority of Shaykh Hasan Maksum as a 'brilliant star' scholar in legal matters, although it was rarely discussed and raised at the research level.

Artikel ini merupakan penjabaran atas kompetensi pedagogik guru pondok pesantren modern yang tidak hanya dibatasi pada pedagogical knowledge, tetapi juga mengintegrasikannya dengan content knowledge guna membentuk kompetensi yang disebut pedagogical content knowledge. Artikel ini didasarkan pada penelitian lapangan di Pondok Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah yang telah menyelenggarakan kegiatan pendidikan selama 40 tahun (1982-2022). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa guru di pondok pesantren harus (1) memiliki pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang materi (mâddah) yang diajarkannya dan (2) memiliki keterampilan untuk mengajarkan materi tersebut. Untuk yang pertama, pesantren mengkajinya dari latar belakang keilmuan, termasuk perilaku guru sehari-hari, membenahinya melalui pembinaan dan pelatihan, dan mewajibkannya untuk menyiapkan pelajaran secara tertulis (I'dâd Tadrîs). Adapun yang kedua, pesantren menawarkan micro-teaching pada awal penerimaan sebagai guru, membentuk kelompok Ta'hîl, dan sewaktu-waktu mengangkat guru senior untuk mengambil alih pengawasan langsung. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dapat terpantau bahkan ditingkatkan. Dokumen ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi lembaga tersebut ataupun lembaga pendidikan lainnya

This study examines al-hikâyah in Islamic religious learning. Although this practice overlaps with qissah and storytelling, it has its own unique character because it is considered as character building and educational ideal formation. This study is constructed by giving priority to stories as a learning tradition in Islam, so as to provide a fundamental view that stories, descriptions or a wealth of vocabulary and expressions are something special that emerges from the Islamic educational environment. Then, the argument is put forward that the teacher is the central figure in the organization of education, without whose authority simultaneous, continuous and sustainable education would not take place from time to time. In this section, it is argued that the ability to tell stories is a skill that a teacher, who is charged with character building or transmitting educational ideals, should possess. The final section discusses the implementation of al-hikâyah as a method of character formation and pedagogical idealism and transforms the ability to teach it effectively into a teacher competence that can be further optimized from time to time.

Abstrak Tulisan ini berusaha memotret manajemen profesi guru berbasis kaderisasi yang dilakukan di Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Medan sebagai faktor yang memiliki peran besar dalam pengembangan dan pertahanan lembaga. Gambaran mengenainya penting untuk dielaborasi dengan tujuan manarasikan best practice yang dapat diduplikasi lembaga-lembaga semisal. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah yang telah lazim dikenal yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tabulasi data direduksi untuk kemudian disimpulkan bahwa manajemen profesi guru ada pada proses rekrutmen dan peningkatan mutu. Untuk yang pertama bersifat penyemaian bibit guru, sedangkan yang kedua merupakan pematangan posisi guru sebagai sosok yang diteladani. Tulisan ini ditutup dengan diskusi mengenai upaya pematangan basis kaderisasi di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan guna merespon ketimpangan yang sering terjadi antara pertumbuhan kuantitas lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang diselenggarakan dengan peningkatan kualitas penyelenggaraan pendidikan di dalamnya. Abstract This article attempts to present cadre-based professional management of teachers at the Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School in Medan as a factor that plays an important role in the development and defense of the institution. This discussion is very important to provide an overview and show that the practices used by the institutions studied can be duplicated. The method used is qualitative with known steps: interviews, observation, and documentation. All data is reduced to conclude that teacher professional management is involved in recruitment and quality improvement. The first is about teacher development, and the second is about maturing the teacher's position as a role model. This article ends with a discussion on efforts to develop regeneration bases in educational institutions to eliminate the discrepancy between the growth in the number of educational institutions and improving the quality of education.
