Abstract

Management of forming muslim behavior according to Islamic education studies is accrued; first, concept , that educations should looked forward to the second Human Values, physically or non, body, soul, desire, hearth and mind. Second, from side of environment education should being conducted by all part around students, either, societies, state or its institution. Third, implementing, that implementing education of faith, education of science, educations of practice, education of moral and social education. forth, education should being strongly conducted to make the peoples felt closely to the Quran and remembering syahadah that the peoples promised to their God before, through knowledge and culture, learning, education, and ta’dib (morality)

Abstract

This study examines how much face-to-face learning (PTM) factors influence parents' decisions in choosing Islamic boarding schools   as educational institutions for their children during the pandemic (TA.2021-2022). Based on the literature review, there are five factors that influence parents' decisions in choosing pesantren as their child's educational institution, namely ideological, educational, structuralist, economic and pragmatic, or six factors for the case of schools in general, namely social status and income level, curriculum, facilities infrastructure, school achievement, location and educational environment, and teacher quality. This study found other factors that emerged due to the Joint Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Learning in the 2020/2021 Academic Year and the 2020/2021 Academic Year during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period.  Islamic boarding schools allowed to carry out face-to-face learning with detailed provisions. According to data analysis conducted through tabulation, reduction and conclusion drawing, it was found that the PTM factor was quite influential for parents so it was recommended for Islamic boarding schools to detail the narrative of their face-to-face learning process next year to maintain public trust -which could be for this year- based solely on the compulsion of conditions. This research was conducted by conducting in-depth interviews with several parents while still considering reviewing the document data for accepting new students at the Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah Islamic Boarding School, Medan.

Abstract

Inisiasi kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat yang diberi nama Stimulasi Spirit Akademik Mahasiswa Universitas Nahdhatul Ulama Sumatera Utara (UNUSU) Melalui Kegiatan Penulisan Artikel Ilmiah ini memiliki tujuan mengimplementasikan kerjasama lembaga dan untuk membentuk suasana akademik yang berhujung pemenuhan beberapa syarat pemeringkatan akreditasi. Inisiasi ini secara khusus juga diperlukan guna meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, berpikir kritis, maupun berkomunikasi secara efektif bagi mahasiswa. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dijalankan dalam tiga persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pembelajaran berkelanjutan, stimulasi spirit akademik di lingkungan UNUSU berhasil dimunculkan. Spirit itu terlihat dalam keaktifan peserta mengikuti program untuk kemudian menindaklanjutinya sebagai pemenuhan beberapa syarat akreditasi. Meskipun begitu, program ini akan maksimal kebermanfaatannya jika dilengkapi dengan pemaparan tentang etika penulisan ataupun pengunaan artificial intelegence yang belum terlalu banyak disinggung.

Abstract

The discussion on teacher ethics has been the subject of discussion among Muslim scholars and scholars and has generated many insights including the views of the great scholars Sayyid Usman. He is a Muslim scholar who has done extensive research in Islamic Education. This paper attempts to address Sayyid Usman's perspective on teacher ethics. It is in his view that, personally, the teacher should be sincere, wara', zuhud, tawadhu', not 'say, no takabur, not riyâ', and not malicious. A teacher must master the material he teaches, know the requirements of knowledge, and even know where to find the knowledge he has, and practice it. So that a teacher can teach the knowledge he has to the learners with the aim of not only being good in the eyes of the religion but also good in the customs of his country. As a result, efforts to improve the quality of a teacher need to be constantly developed. Therefore, the rules of the Indonesian Teacher Ethics Code should be of concern for the creation of the best generation of the nation's successor.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to investigate the contribution of Prof. Dr. Abdul Muhdi to the field of hadith. The names mentioned can be classified as modern hadith figures whose thoughts and academic achievements are documented and serve as reference for hadith scholars. In this study, several of his works (library research) are discussed, namely Ṭuruq Takhrīj Ḥadīṡ Rasūli Allah Sallā Allahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam, Ṭuruq Takhrīj Aqwāl aṣ-Ṣaḥābah wa at-Tābi'īn wa at-Takhrīj bi al-Kumbiyutar, al-Madkhal Ilā as-Sunnah an-Nabaiwyyah, as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah: Makānatuhā wa 'Awāmilu Baqāiha wa Tadwīnuhā, Musnad Ibn Ja'ad: Taḥqīq wa Dirāsah, Ilmu al-Jarḥ wa at - Ta'dīl: Qawā'iduḥu wa Aimmatuḥu, Daf'u asy-Syubhat 'An as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah, and Aḥādīṡu Mu'jizāt ar-Rasūl Sallā Allahu 'Alaihi wa Sallam Allati Ẓaharat fi Zamāninā. Based on the findings of this study, it is known that the contribution of Prof. Dr. Abd Muhdi in the field of hadith is quite extensive, including the study of the Tahkik Kitab, the collection of hadith and syrah, as well as in the field of jarh and ta'dil science. Prof. Dr. Abd Muhdi also contributed to the methodology of hadith research and establishing the rules of takhrij science. He also actively refuted the accusations against the hadith and their narrators. Therefore, this article can serve as an introduction to further research into his biography and thought, within the context of the combination of classical and contemporary hadith studies.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kontribusi Prof. Dr. Abdul Muhdi dalam bidang hadis. Nama yang disebutkan dapat dikategorikan sebagai tokoh hadis era modern yang, baik pemikiran maupun kinerja akademiknya, telah dibukukan dan menjadi rujukan para pengkaji hadis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa kontribusi Prof. Dr. Abd Muhdi dalam bidang Hadis cukup banyak meliputi kajian tahkik kitab, penghimpunan hadis dan syarah, serta dalam ilmu jarh dan ta’dil. Prof. Dr. Abd Muhdi juga berkontribusi dalam metodologi penelitian hadis dan dalam meletakkan kaidah-kaidah ilmu takhrij. Dirinya juga aktif membantah tuduhan-tuduhan seputar hadis dan perawinya. Dengan begitu, artikel ini dapat menjadi pengantar atas penelitian selanjutnya, baik biografi maupun pemikirannya, dalam kerangka menghubungan kajian hadis klasik dan kontemporer.
