Abstract

The purpose of this research is to tests the influence of financial performance, firm size and company growth to the dividend policy. This research has been carried out by using quantitative approach and multiple linear analysis method. The data is the secondary data which has been obtained from manufacturing companies which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2013 periods. The data collection technique has been done by using documentation and literature study. The sampling has been done by using purposive sampling method. 15 companies which meet the criteria have been selected as samples so that the observation in this research are 45 observations. The results of this research indicate that liquidity and profitability variable has positive influence to the dividend policy. Leverage has positive influence to the dividend policy, it means that when the company liabilities is high, it does not mean that the dividend payment will be low. Firm size has positive influence to the dividend policy which means that when firm size is getting large, the turnover and the profit will be high as well. When the profit is high, it means that the ability of the company to pay dividend is higher than small firm. While company growth has negative influence to the dividend policy; it means that when the level of company growth is getting high, the fund that is needed to finance the needs in the future and the dividend that is needed to pay is getting small.Keywords: financial performance, firm size, company growth, dividend policy.

Abstract

Most people in Mlandangan Village, Nganjuk Regency, highly depend on corn farming. Corn is a superior local product in the location. However, residents only sell products in raw form, and there is no diversification of processed food made from corn. After the harvest period, those directly involved in corn farming generally no longer have a steady income. Therefore, to increase the added value of corn for the local community, diversification of corn processing into instant corn rice (ampok) is needed. Socialization and training were conducted at the location to increase the community's knowledge and skills in diversifying corn processing and providing added value to local corn products. The target of the activity was the mothers and women farmers in RT 02 RW 12. The activity can potentially increase the selling value of corn products, which will affect the welfare of the people involved. Given the location of the village, which is close to road access, it is hoped that instant ampok processed products can be traded not only within the village environment but also outside the area as the flagship product of Mlandangan Village. Kehidupan sebagian besar masyarakat di Desa Mlandangan Kabupaten Nganjuk bergantung kepada hasil pertanian jagung. Tanaman jagung menjadi produk unggulan lokal di lokasi tersebut. Meski demikian, warga menjual produk hanya dalam bentuk mentah dan belum adanya diversifikasi olahan pangan berbahan baku jagung. Saat setelah masa panen, umumnya masyarakat yang terlibat langsung dalam usahatani jagung tidak lagi memiliki penghasilan tetap. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan nilai tambah jagung bagi masyarakat setempat, diversifikasi pengolahan jagung menjadi nasi jagung (ampok) instan dibutuhkan. Sosialisasi dan pelatihan dilakukan di lokasi bertujuan menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam diversifikasi pengolahan jagung dan memberikan nilai tambah produk jagung lokal. Sasaran kegiatan adalah para ibu dan wanita tani di RT 02 RW 12. Kegiatan berpotensi meningkatkan nilai jual produk jagung yang akan mempengaruhi kesejahteraan masyarakat yang terlibat di dalamnya. Mengingat lokasi desa yang dekat dengan akses jalan raya, diharapkan produk olahan ampok instan dapat diniagakan tidak hanya di dalam lingkungan desa, tetapi juga ke luar wilayahnya sebagai produk unggulan Desa Mlandangan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bajulan, Kecamatan Loceret, Kabupaten Nganjuk dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemanfaatan limbah urine kelinci sebagai bahan dasar pupuk organik cair (POC) untuk tanaman cabai. Latar belakang program ini adalah melimpahnya ketersediaan limbah urine kelinci yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal, sementara petani masih sangat bergantung pada pupuk kimia. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pendekatan blended, yakni kombinasi daring dan luring, dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan praktik, serta pembuatan media pembelajaran berupa video dan modul. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang manfaat urine kelinci yang difermentasi menjadi pupuk organik cair, serta keterampilan dalam proses pembuatan dan aplikasinya pada tanaman cabai. Program ini juga memberikan dampak positif berupa pengurangan ketergantungan pada pupuk anorganik, pemanfaatan limbah peternakan, serta peningkatan produktivitas cabai. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada penguatan ketahanan pangan lokal, pengelolaan limbah ramah lingkungan, dan pemberdayaan petani menuju pertanian berkelanjutan.
