Abstract

Kegiatan ekonomi anggota kelompok tani Pama Butak adalah bertanam berbagai komoditi pertanian pada lahan sempit. Petani juga memelihara sapi sebagai penambah penghasilan. Petani memelihara sapi dengan pakan rumput yang tersedia. Membantu penyelesaian permasalahan petani pemelihara sapi rumahan ini penting untuk dilakukan karena dapat membantu kesejahteraan petani dan menciptakan kemandirian pangan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini memberikan solusi berbasis ekonomi hijau (green economy) yaitu memperkenalkan dan mendampingi penyediaan pakan sapi dengan bahan baku pelepah kelapa sawit. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini adalah penyuluhan partisipatif, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Pakan dibuat dengan menggunakan 2 teknologi yaitu teknologi mesin pencacah dan teknologi amoniasi. Evaluasi terhadap respon petani dilakukan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pelapah kelapa sawit dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber daya pakan sapi untuk pemenuhan serat untuk pemeliharaan sapi di dalam kandang. Sapi perlu pembiasaan untuk beralih dari makan rumput menjadi makan pakan dari pelepah kelapa sawit. Sebagian petani menerima teknologi ini dan akan diterapkan. Namun, sebagian tidak sabar dalam proses pembiasaan sapi untuk memakan pakan buatan tersebut.

Abstract

Kangkung laut merupakan gulma pantai yang mudah sekali ditemukan di pantai-pantai di kota Bengkulu. Kehadiran gulma ini, selain mengganggu keindahan, ternyata juga memiliki kandungan hara yang cukup tinggi, khususnya Nitrogen. Sehingga kangkung laut berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan organik utama dalam pembuatan pupuk organik yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh beberapa dosis pupuk organik kangkung laut terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Penelitian dirancang dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non-faktorial dalam 5 taraf perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diuji adalah dosis bokashi kangkung laut yang diberikan dalam 5 taraf yaitu 0, 2,5, 5, 7,5, dan 10 ton per hektar. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan yang berlokasi di desa Talang Boseng, Kecamatan Pondok Kelapa, Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah dari bulan Agustus 2022 hingga Februari 2023. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa perbedaan dosis bokashi kangkung laut memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah rumpun, jumlah umbi, diameter umbi, dan berat umbi kering. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah semakin baik seiring dengan penambahan dosis. Dosis pupuk organik kangkung laut yang terbaik untuk budidaya tanaman bawang merah adalah 7,5 dan 10 ton/ha

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of shoot cutting combined with spraying growth regulators on the growth and yield of soybeans. The experiment was arranged in a factorial randomized block design and was repeated three times. Shoot cutting treatments were performed 10, 20, and 30 days after planting. The growth regulators applied were Cytokinin, Auxin, and Gibberellin. The growth and yield of soybean plants were observed through plant height, number of branches, percentage of canopy coverage, leaf area, number of pods, weight of 100 seeds, and number of seeds per plot. The results showed that the interaction of the two treatments had no significant effect on soybean growth and yield. The Gibberellin treatment significantly affected plant height at 6 weeks after planting, number of branches at 4 weeks after planting, number of pods, and yield per plot.

Abstract

Many peanut planting fields have limited water resources, therefore farmers must use water efficiently. A study aimed to obtain appropriate watering intervals and adaptive peanut cultivars at limited water conditions. The greenhouse study was conducted at Central Bengkulu Regency, Indonesia, from December 2019 to March 2020. Three varieties of peanut (Takar 2, Talam 1, and Kancil) and four watering intervals (1, 3, 6, and 9-day intervals) were arranged using a split-plot design and replicated three times. Results showed that the three varieties evaluated had similar agronomic performance (P≥0.05). The Takar 2 and Kancil had similar growth and yield components to the dry land adaptive variety Talam 1. It indicates that Takar 2 and Kancil cultivars are suitable for cultivation in a water-limited field. Watering every 6 days reduced peanut growth and insignificantly differed from watering every 9 days. Daily watering produced the highest growth and yield of peanut, irrespective of genotypes. Nevertheless, in areas with limited water availability, watering every 3 days was sufficient with yield reduction by about 25.55% of watering daily. Keywords: drought, irrigation, peanut production

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of planting media on the growth of Oil Mangrove (Rhizophora apicutala) seedlings, to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer doses on Oil Mangrove (Rhizophora apicutala) seedling growth, to determine the interaction effect of planting media and NPK fertilizer doses on Oil Mangrove seedling growth. (Rhizophora apicutala). This study used a factorial randomized block design, with the first factor being the planting medium (M) consisting of M1: Topsoil, M2: Sandy Mud Soil, and the second factor being the dose of NPK fertilizer (B) consisting of B1: 0 g/polybag, B2: 9 g/polybag, B3: 12 g/polybag, B4: 15 g/polybag. The treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 24 experimental units. The research showed that the treatment of planting media had no significant effect on the growth of oil mangrove seedlings (Rhizophora apiculata) except for the seedling height of 4 WAP, the NPK dose treatment had a significant effect on the growth of oil mangrove seedlings except for the variable number of leaves 4 WAP, 8 WAP, and dry weight, treatment interactions. the planting medium and doses of NPK fertilizer had no significant effect on the growth of oil mangrove seedlings (Rhizophora apiculata) except for plant height of 4 WAP, the dose of NPK 15 g/polybag gave the best growth of oil mangrove seedlings.
