Abstract

This research aim is to know the tolerance of 32 genotipes result of crossis of local  Bengkulu upland rice to shade in young oil palm plantion. The research was conducted in Bumi Ayu village of Bengkulu from March to August 2017.The research was conducted using split plot design  with three replication. The main factor is shade consits two level. i.e: (A) with shade and (B) without shade. The subplot is 32 genotipes.The result of research show that shade from oil palm canopy affects to plant heigh, number of productive tillers, panicels long, weigh of 100 grans, and weigh of grans per plots.  Shade causes a decline in growth and yield of upland rice. On this evaluation obtained eleven genotipes are tolerant to shede, i.e:   UNHZ 1, UNHZ 7, UNHZ 12 A, UNHZ 21,   UNHZ 23, UNHZ 24, UNHZ 26,  UNHZ 27, UMHZ 28, UNHZ 29 dan  UNHZ 31.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the right planting distance for the growth and results plant of local upland rice in Bengkulu, find the local upland Bengkulu rice lines that provide optimal growth and results, and find out the good planting distance for each Bengkulu upland rice lines for optimal growth and results. This study uses a Split Plot design inside RKAL two treatments and three replications. The main plot treatment of the two levels is lines UNHZ 31 and lines UNHZ 12. And three-stage plot treatment is planting distance 25 x 25 cm, planting distance 30 x 30 cm, and planting distance 35 x 35 cm. The results of the analysis of variance were continued with a significantly different test at the levels 5 % and 1 %. The parameters observed were plant height, the total number of tillers, panicle length, number of productive tillers, age of flowering 80 %, age of harvest, the weight of 100 grains, grain weight per clump, grain weight per plot, the weight of wet crop and weight of the dry crop. The results significantly affected grain weight per clump, wet crop weight, and dry crop weight. Significantly affected plant height 4 MST, 6 MST, 8 MST, 10 MST, post-harvest, total number of tillers 8 MST, 10 MST, and productive tillers. Not significantly affected plant height 2 MST, the total number of tillers 6 MST, panicle length, flowering age 80 %, harvest age, weight of 100 grains, and grain weight per plot. Treatment of 35 x 35 cm spacing and lines UNHZ 12 showed the best results on each observation but not cumulative.

Abstract

Dry season which often come is quicker, becoming one of the constrictor factor produce of upland rice. Existence of lacking of water cause crop experience of stres so that unable to grow and productive maximally. One of the effort to overcome degradation result of effect of lacking of water is assemble pre-eminent upland rice varietas tolerance to lacking of water. This research is conducted to evaluated the tolerance of genotipes result crossing of Bengkulu local varieties upland rice to dryness grasp. Research conducted year dry season 2015, using split plot design. Result of research indicate that Genotipa result of crossing of local upland rice of Bengkulu have difference of its resilience to dryness grasp. Lenient Genotipa of dryness at attempt of green house is 31,25 %, that is UNHZ 1, UNHZ 6, UNHZ 14, UNHZ 15A, UNHZ 16, UNHZ 23, UNHZ 24, UNHZ 26, UNHZ 27 And UNHZ 31. Lenient Geotipa to dryness grasp at attempt of field is 19,23 %, that is UNHZ 14A, UNHZ 14B, UNHZ 21, UNHZ 22, UNHZ 23, UHZ 24, UNHZ 26, UNHZ 27, UNHZ 31, UHNZ 32, UNHZ 56, UNHZ 58, UNHZ 61, UNHZ 62, UNHZ 66, UNHZ 67, UNHZ 91, UNHZ 93, UNHZ 96 and UNHZ 97. Genotipa showing symptom hold up goodness at research of green house and also research of field is UNHZ1, UNHZ 14A, UNHZ 15 A , UNHZ 23, UNHZ 24, UNHZ 26, UNHZ 27 and UNHZ 31. Abstract

Luas areal pertanaman tomat di Indonesia setiap tahunnya terus meningkat. Luas panen mencapai 50.000 ha dan 16.000 ha terdapat di Pulau Jawa dengan penyebarannya 60 % di dataran tinggi dan 40 % di dataran rendah. Hasil rata-rata di dataran rendah masih sangat rendah, yaitu 6 ton/ha dibandingkan potensi hasil rata-rata 5–20 ton/ha. Salah satu kendala adalah kesesuaian varietas terhadap Agroekologi setempat serta belum tersedianya varietas tomat yang adaptip terhadap kondisi lingkungan yang rendah. Perbaikan varietas merupakan salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kendala produksi tomat melalui program pemuliaan tomat. Dalam upaya mendapatkan varietas tomat unggul produksi tinggi pada budidaya organik, diperlukan informasi keragaman genetik yang luas. Penelitian ini merupakan serangkaian rencana penelitian yang diupayakan untuk mendapatkan varietas tomat unggul produksi tinggi pada budidaya organik. Persilangan tetua potensial sudah dilaksanakan dan mendapatkan biji F1. Seleksi dan evaluasi terhadap karakter agronomi pada tanaman F1, F2, F3, dan F4 adalah serangkaian kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan dan mendapatkan galur-galur terbaik. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendapatkan galur-galur tomat dengan karakter agronomis terbaik pada tanaman F5. Peubah yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah cabang, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah buah, berat buah, jumlah tandan bunga, jumlah tandan buah, bobot per buah, diameter buah, ketahanan simpan buah dan bentuk serta warna buah. Analisa data dengan Uji F dan DMRT.

Abstract

This research to determine the concentration and frequency of watering on growth and yield of Oyster Mushrooms. The Research used a Randomized Method with two factors, The first factor was NPK concentration which consisted of 3 level : A1 = 0 %, A2 = 10%, A3 = 30 % and the second factor was the frequency of watering consisting of 3 level, B1 : 1 time, B2 : 2 time, B3 : 3time. The result showed that the NPK concentration treatment had a significant KONSENTRASI affected on mushroom 12 week after plant, significantly affected of mushroom/baglog and weight of mushroom/baglog 12 week after plant, but no significant effect weight on mushroom 8 week after plant. The frequency of watering had significant effect of amound mushroom/baglog and weigth mushroom 12 week after plant, significantly effect on the weigt mushroom/baglog 8 week after plant and had no significant effection other parameter. The interaction between the NPK concentration and frequency of watering only had significant effected the weight of mushroom 8 week after plant. Concentration NPK10 % (A2) and 2 times watering frequency (B2) showed the best oyster mushroom result.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the character of hope lines in organic and inorganic cultivation. The study used a split plot design with three replications. As the main plot is the type of fertilizer with two level of organic fertilizer, complete fertilizer (organic + an organic) and organic fertilizer. As subplots were lines from Bengkulu local upland rice with three levels namely UNHZ 12, UNHZ 24 and UNHZ 31. The results showed that the type of fertilizer significantly affected plant height, number of productive tillers, panicle length, grain weight of 100 grains, and weight of grain per clump, but has no significant effect on the age of flowering, harvest age, and grain per panicle. The strain has a very significant effect on the number of productive tillers, flowering age, harvest age, panicle length, grain per panicle and grain weight of 100 grains. The interaction of fertilizers and strains has a very significant effect on panicle length, and the weight of 100 grains, significantly influences the number of panicle grains, has no significant effect on plant height, number of productive tillers, flowering age, harvest age, and grain weight per clump.

Abstract

Assistance of Prospective Preacher Cadres at Universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin SH Bengkulu Universitas Prof. Dr. Hazairin, SH Bengkulu (Unihaz) has a vision to become a lively, religious and excellent university in the implementation of the tridharma of higher education. Jum'at religi (Juri) is a student development program to create a religious atmosphere in campus life. This activity is integrated with Islamic religion courses by adding 1 credit for practicum. Efforts to reduce dependence with third parties in the implementation of the Juri, the ability of students, who are members of the Islamic Spirituality Unihaz Student Activity Unit, needs to be improved to become Juri guides from an early age. The aim of this program was to produce campus da'wah cadres who are ready to become the driving force for preaching on the Unihaz campus. Community service activities were carried out by means of training and guidance to read Al-Qur'an (tahsin) and worship training. Guidance was carried out periodically with the frequency of one meeting a week. The results that have been achieved from this program were that there was an increase in Islamic understanding and the ability to read the Al-Qur'an and the implementation of worship for participants, there is an increase in the activity of participants in participating in spiritual organization programs, there is an increase in the activity of participants to pray at mosques, and an increase in the number of participants. internal mentor in the implementation of the Juri program.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the character of agronomy in some local chili varieties Kepahyang district. This research was conducted in Tugurejo village, Kabawetan sub – district, Kepahyang district, Bengkulu province. Research fields used include the plateau. The materials used are local scads kepahyang (wulung varieties, Aceh varieties, pendek varieties), manure, organic liquid fertilizer, chemical fertilizers. Tools used are house, handsprayerm sickle, bucket, ajir, mulch, meter, traypoot, ultra violet plastic and stationery. The resparch design used was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two factor, the first factor consists of three typus of processed fertilizer, namely liquid organic fertilizer (P1), manure (P2), chemical fertilizer (P3), while the second factor is local varieties, namely wulung (VI). Aceh varieties (V2), pendek varieties (V3). Each treatment was repeated three times. Observed variable were. Plant height, number of harvest crops, fruit diameter, fruit length, total fruit weight, fruit dry weight, flowering age, harvest age. The highest plant height is the manure treatment, significantly different from the treatment of liquid organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer. The largest a mount of fruit cultivation is wulung varieties treatment, significantly different from the treatment of pendek varieties and aceh varieties. Fruit diameter and fruit length is the best treatment of aceh varieties, significantly different from the treatment of pendek varieties and wulung varieties.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kalium terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman selada dan untuk mendapatkan dosis yang dapat memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Maret 2016 di kebun percobaan BPP Pagar Jati , Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah. . Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan (K0 : tanpa kalium. K1 : 25 kg/ha. K2 : 50 kg/ha. K3 : 75 kg/ha dan K4 : 100 kg/ha) dengan 4 ulangan sehingga terdapat 20 (dua puluh) satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk kalim memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil selada. Perlakuan K4 ( 100 kg/ha KCl = 75 g/polibag)) memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil terbaik. Kata kunci : Lactuca sativa., Dosis KCl,
