Abstract

Pancasila dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang sakral yang setiap warga nya harus hafal dan mematuhi segala isi dalam Pancasila tersebut. Namun sebagaian besar warga negara Indonesia hanya menganggap Pancasila sebagai dasar Negara atau ideologi tanpa memperdulikan makna yang terkandung dalam kehidupan. Tanpa manusia sadari nilai-nilai makna yang terkandung dalam Pancasila sangat berguna dan bermanfaat. Penerapan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar merupakan tujuan dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah melalui media pembelajaran berupa Mading Craft of Pancasila. Berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, kemudahan penggunaaan, kemenarikan media, dan efektivitas pembelajaran tatap muka, maka media Mading Craft of Pancasila sangat disarankan untuk digunakan dalam membantu siswa sekolah dasar memahami nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Critical thinking is an essential 21st-century skill that needs to be instilled in students from elementary school. In reality, learning Mathematics especially multiplication remains a challenge for most students. They often struggle to grasp concepts and rarely have the opportunity to hone their critical thinking skills. This is because the learning process still relies heavily on traditional methods without the support of concrete media that can facilitate understanding. The presence of the multiplication wheel media is an innovation that can provide a more active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experience. With this media, students are not only asked to memorize but also trained to recognize patterns, link concepts, and reason logically. This study highlights the effect of using the multiplication wheel media on the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Wonokalang Sidoarjo. The results obtained show a significant increase in the critical thinking skills of students who learn using this media compared to students who follow conventional learning. The application of the multiplication wheel media can foster curiosity, train problem-solving skills, and increase student active participation during the learning process. These findings confirm that the multiplication wheel is not only effective in strengthening understanding of multiplication concepts but also plays a crucial role in developing critical thinking skills. Therefore, elementary school mathematics teachers are encouraged to utilize concrete and innovative media such as the multiplication wheel to make learning more engaging and relevant to the demands of 21st-century skills.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a crucial foundation in preparing Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045. However, limited learning media remains a challenge, including for Ananda Toys MSME in Karangtanjung Village, Sidoarjo, which produces Educational Play Tools (EPT). The main problems include the absence of business legality, limited product innovation, simple marketing practices, and weak financial record-keeping. This community service program aims to empower MSMEs through assistance in obtaining business legality, training in innovative EPT production based on the Flour Press Cutter, strengthening product branding and digital marketing, and training in simple financial recording. The program was implemented using a participatory approach through socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation, involving 40 participants consisting of business actors, youth organizations (Karang Taruna), PKK members, and PAUD/elementary school teachers. The results show an increase in MSME competitiveness through the acquisition of business legality, product innovation, expanded digital marketing, and more systematic financial management, while also supporting improvements in the quality of early childhood education and community welfare.
