Abstract

The digitalization era considers the media an urgent influencer for various aspects of life. The media's perspective also shapes perspectives and even influences decision-making for the community. Every media has an ideology. Framing analysis is intended to dissect the ideology of the media when constructing facts. On the other hand, the spread of digital media has impacted the ease of publication of literary writings as a factual form of self-expression. Poem as a type of literature has always been popularly chosen by the public because it contains both freedom and aesthetics. This study aims to describe the framing of the Kanjuruhan tragedy-themed poem in the Jawa Pos digital media from ontology, epistemology, and axiology perspectives. This type of research is qualitative. Data analysis descriptively positioned the researcher as the main research instrument. The data collection method uses basic tapping techniques and advanced techniques in the form of notes. The analytical procedure to determine framing is done by reading the poem carefully, analyzing the framing of the poem according to Entman's approach, and summarizing the findings. The results of framing research using an Entman’s approach seen from the depth of the perspective of ontology, epistemology, and axiology show that the poem published by Jawa Pos contains the sharpness of criticism and reflection by raising solidarity on the issue of humanism which indicates the alignment of creators to victims and criticizing state institutions and those in power. These findings add to the diversity of framing research using the Entman approach with new objects in the form of literary works. These results also indicate that framing analysis can clarify the ideology of a media in terms of everything it publishes.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the dominance of women in the film "Tilik The Series" through dialogue and scenes using note-taking techniques. There were 8 episodes taken as research data. Through this technique, 9 dialogues related to female domination were obtained. The analysis was carried out using Sara Mills' critical discourse analysis. The research results show that in society, women occupy a position as subjects who can voice their opinions through loud speech and physical actions. This is done by the characters Bu Tejo to the parking attendant, Bu Tejo to Nopek, and Yu Ning to Pak Tejo. The actions taken by several figures encouraged village women to do the same. This shows that women have the power to influence other women. Furthermore, women who are abandoned by their husbands receive a low position and negative nicknames in society. The research findings from the film "Tilik: The Series" suggest a significant transformation in the roles and perceptions of women in society. Women are portrayed as subjects who are empowered, capable of leadership, and able to challenge traditional gender norms and stereotypes, while still respecting cultural traditions. This implies a move towards a more gender-inclusive and equitable society where women have a more significant voice and influence in both public and domestic spheres.

Abstract

Berdasarkan pernyataan Kepala Bidang Pengelolaan Sampah Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Yogyakarta dari jumlah bank sampah di Kota Yogyakarta hanya mampu mengurangi sebesar 2% total sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh model program linear yang optimal pada program bank sampah Kota Yogyakarta dan memaparkan analisis sensitivitas hasil optimal model program linear dari program bank sampah Kota Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian secara terapan dan teori dengan metode program linear sebagai solusi penyelesaian. Penyelesaian model program linear dibantu menggunakan program LINGO 18.0 selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah sampah maksimal yang diolah bank sampah sebanyak 7.272,447 kg per hari dari total 481 bank sampah yang meliputi jenis sampah plastik, kertas, logam, dan kaca dengan efesiensi sampah terolah mencapai 12% untuk seluruh bank. Berdasarkan hasil uji sensitivitas, jika terjadi penaikan atau penurunan pada penjualan sampah plastik, kertas, dan kaca serta pendapatan keuntungan dengan tidak melewati nilai batas, baik batas maksimal atau minimal maka tidak mengubah kuantitas sampah yang terkumpul di bank sampah. Sedangkan, pada kendala penyetoran, sampah tereduksi, dan penjualan sampah logam hanya terdapat batas minimal sehingga belum perlu menambahkan sampah yang akan disetorkan, direduksi, dan sampah logam yang dijual melewati batas minimal.Kata kunci: bank sampah, pengurangan sampah, program linear, LINGO, analisis sensitivitas.

Abstract

This study is motivated by students' low ability to receive and process problem information, making error analysis necessary to understand conceptual understanding and help teachers determine appropriate learning strategies. The study aims to describe students' conceptual understanding in algebraic multiplication material, analyze the relationship between student errors based on Newman's procedure, and develop learning recommendations. The research employed a descriptive approach combining quantitative and qualitative analysis, with 30 seventh-grade students at a junior high school in Yogyakarta as subjects. Data were collected through conceptual understanding tests, analyzed quantitatively through descriptive statistics in the form of scores and categories, and qualitatively to identify student errors using five Newman stages: Reading Error, Comprehension, Transformation, Process Skill, and Encoding. Results indicate that students' conceptual understanding falls in the fairly good category with an average score of 79.72, with the highest indicator on connect knowledge and the lowest on evaluate thinking and purpose ideas and conjecture. Errors in reading and understanding problems indicate weak conceptual understanding, whereas the ability to construct procedures and write correct answers reflects strong conceptual understanding. Learning recommendations emphasize strengthening basic concepts, complete solution procedures, and developing students' evaluation skills and mathematical idea expression.
