Abstract

Pedidikan merupakan lembaga yang memiliki peran penting dalam kemajuan suatu negara. Sebab didalamnya terdapat manusia-manusia pembelajar yang ditempa dengan berbagai ilmu pengetahuan dan akhlakul karimah. Harapannya akan mengembangkan dan memunculkan genarasi-genarasi bangsa yang turut mengembangkan negara Indonesia menjadi negara yang maju. Sejalan dengan hal itu, segala proses pendidikan demi terbentuknya peserta didik yang berkualitas, harus memperhatikan faktor-faktor kesiapan dan proses belajar anak, diantaranya kondisi fisik, mental, dan emosi. Ketiga hal ini cukup berpengaruh dan saling berkaitan satu sama lain. Ketika tubuh atau fisik dalam kondisi yang baik atau sehat, maka anak dapat melakukan aktivitas dengan maksimal, yaitu mampu menggunakan seluruh pancaindranya dalam proses belajar. Sementara kondisi mental yang baik akan menciptakan pikiran yang positif dan sehat. Selain itu, dengan mental yang baik, anak dapat menyesuaikan dengan kondisi lingkungan dan mampu belajar dalam kondisi apapun.

Abstract

One of the food-product halalness indicator is the absence of alcohol. In this case, traders as business actors must know about the contamination of khamr and alcohol in food ingredients that are traded so as not to endanger themselves and consumersas a condition when applying for halal certification. Because the content of khamr and alcohol besides endangering health, the Qur'an also clearly forbids them.Therefore this community service aims to increase the knowledge of shop owners around IAIN Surakarta regarding the contamination of khamr and alcohol in food as an effort to prepare for halal certification. This activity is carried out using the socialization method, namely by giving lectures and questions and answers to 10 food stall owners. Activity evaluation is carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test on the topic presented. From this community service activity, there was an increase in knowledge which could be seen from the pre-test and post-test scores, which were respectively 36 and 86. Specifically, the increase in knowledge about the definition of alcohol and khamr was 50%, the rules of the beverage trade. alcohol in Indonesia is 50%, types of alcoholic drinks are 60%, and the law of alcohol and khamr in Islam is 30%.

Abstract

Arus globalisasi yang terus berkembang turut mempengaruhi masyarakat Indonesia dari segi pakaian, pola pikir, gaya hidup bahkan menggeser budaya lokal Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pelestarian budaya lokal melalui lembaga pendidikan terendah yaitu PAUD. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi PAUD berbasis budaya lokal yang berada di KB Among Siwi Dusun Pandes, Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan menggunakan tiga metode yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian peneliti melakukan kategorisasi, penyajian data, dan menyimpulkan data hasil penelitian yang telahterkumpul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, KB Among Siwi menerapkan budaya lokal dalam setiap aktivitas pembelajaran diantaranya berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Jawa, menyanyi lagu bahasa Jawa (tradisional), menyediakan APE berbasis budaya lokal seperti wayang, tanah liat, rumah-rumahan dari kardus, congklak, engklek, dan sebagainya serta beberapa buku yang mengajarkan permainan tradisional berupa cublek-cublek suweng, jamuran, gobak sodor dan sebagainya. Selain itu, pembelajaran dengan mengenalkan alam sekitar, membuat hasil karya dengan barang bekas dan bahan alam, melukis baju sebagai seragam, dan makanan yang disediakan setelah belajar berupa jajan pasar atau desa. KBAmong Siwi telah melestarikan budaya lokal sejak dini dengan cukup baik. Namun, perlu mengembangkan kurikulumnya agar lebih tertara, terarah dan menjadi lebih baik

Abstract

This research aims to determine the growth of the environmentally caring character of children aged 5-6 years through the use of used goods. The method in this research is using qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were passive participant observation, structured interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the use of used goods in instilling the character of caring for the environment in children aged 5-6 years at RA Nurhasanah Cileungsi Bogor for the 2021/2022 academic year, (1) learning planning has been carried out by preparing RPPH which refers to themes, indicators , and the goals of learning. (2) implementation of used goods utilization activities starts from introducing types of used goods, introducing care for the environment and making works from used goods. Then in the closing activity, recalling is carried out with the children to train the children's memory and review the material given by the teacher. (3) the assessment is carried out by the teacher using checklist assessment techniques.

Abstract

Currently, children are adapting hate speeches which come from their neighborhood as well as social media without any limitation on top of parents’ advisor. Those comprised disrespectful speech, figuring senses of violence, and imitating adult’s behavior which is not appropriate regarding their age. The situation of that notion influence children in reaching adulthood if it happens regularly. Besides, the environment and media refer to a part of an object which handling big influence towards early childhood development and growth. Children’s language development was affected in the sense of growth. Their vocabularies increase in line with what they see and listen. In addition, language is essential in accordance with interaction and relation in terms of the cognitive aspect. This research aimed to recognize children’s language development using story method in a way of literature and library study in accordance with related theories. Based on the findings, the story method was able to develop children’s linguistic intelligence in which they received many new vocabularies and increased communication skill.

Abstract

The problem in this study is about children's early literacy skills that have not developed optimally in pre-reading activities. The media used by smart boxes can be used as a way to help early literacy skills. The aim to be achieved in this study is to improve the early literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years through smart box media in group B2 BA Aisyiyah Menuran. The informants in this study were the principal and class teacher. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, documentation, and performance tests. The data that has been collected is analyzed using a model developed by Miles and Huberman which consists of four components, namely data condensation, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that smart box media can improve early literacy skills in early childhood. The increase can be seen from the scores obtained by students, at the pre-cycle stage there were 7.69% of students who could be said to be complete, then in cycle I it increased to 46.15% of the number of students, the value of student completeness increased again in cycle II to 84.61%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi efektivitas penerapan media video animasi untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa anak usia dini di RA Al-Hilal 3 Pucangan Kartasura. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian melibatkan guru kelas sebagai subjek utama dengan kepala sekolah dan guru pendamping sebagai informan pendukung. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi video animasi dalam pengembangan bahasa anak dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan sistematis. Pertama, tahap perencanaan yang meliputi penyusunan modul pembelajaran, penentuan tema dan kegiatan, serta persiapan materi video dan alat bantu. Kedua, tahap pelaksanaan yang terdiri dari kegiatan pembukaan (pembiasaan dan apersepsi), penayangan video animasi sebagai kegiatan inti, dan penutup (recalling materi). Ketiga, tahap evaluasi untuk mengukur perkembangan kemampuan bahasa anak. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan media video animasi berhasil meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak-anak. Metode ini terbukti menarik perhatian anak-anak, memperkaya kosakata, meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak, dan membantu anak mengekspresikan diri dengan lebih baik melalui stimulus audio-visual yang interaktif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Film animasi “Leo Si Penjaga Alam” memiliki potensi yang cukup sebagai media pembelajaran karakter bagi anak di era digital. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan pengintegrasian nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada konten digital anak yang berdampak pada pembentukan karakter generasi muda. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam film animasi, mengevaluasi efektivitas penyampaian pesan moralnya, dan merumuskan rekomendasi pengembangan konten pendidikan karakter yang lebih optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Objek penelitian adalah film animasi “Leo Si Penjaga Alam” yang ditayangkan pada platform YouTube, dengan sumber data berupa transkrip dialog dan literatur terkait pendidikan karakter. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi mendalam dan dokumentasi sistematis terhadap adegan-adegan yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis isi dengan kategorisasi nilai- nilai pendidikan karakter yang teridentifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelima episode "Leo si Penjaga Alam" secara konsisten mengintegrasikan berbagai nilai pendidikan karakter melalui tiga tahapan moral menurut Thomas Lickona, yaitu pengetahuan moral (moral knowing), perasaan moral (moral feeling), dan tindakan moral (moral action).

Abstract

Purpose – This study addresses the limited scholarly attention given to the role of the body in shaping religious piety within early childhood education, particularly in Islamic-based institutions. While most studies on piety emphasize cognitive, doctrinal, or socio-political dimensions, little is known about how bodily practices contribute to the internalization of religious values from an early age. Therefore, this research aims to reveal the significant role of the body in the project of piety within Islamic-based Early Childhood Education institutions, specifically Raudlatul Athfal (RA) Ummah 5. In teaching Islam, RA Ummah 5 emphasizes the importance of bodily discipline.Design/methods/approach –  This research employed an ethnographic approach. Data collection was conducted through participatory observation to capture children’s activities during both classroom and outdoor learning processes. In addition, in-depth interviews were carried out with the RA principal and teachers, and relevant documents were gathered to strengthen the findings. Through the ethnographic approach, the study explored the specific cultural patterns practiced at RA Ummah 5. Data were analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña’s framework, which includes data collection, display, reduction, and verification/conclusion drawing.Findings – The piety project developed at RA Ummah 5 cannot be linked to the market or radicalism; instead, the institution defines its own model of piety based on foundational texts (the Qur’an and Hadith) interpreted textually. This aligns with the ideology rooted in the practices of the Prophet and the third generation of Muslims after him. Bodily practices reflect a discursive Islamic tradition connected to the past and validated by the continuity of practices transmitted across generations. In other words, RA Ummah 5 seeks to construct a future Islam that mirrors the past, distancing itself from modernity by reviving and sustaining traditional Islamic practices.Research implications/limitations – This study is limited in scope as it focuses on a single institution with a small number of respondents. Future research should expand to include more diverse contexts and participants to provide deeper and more comprehensive insights. Researchers should also develop a broader understanding of the research setting to enhance data collection.Practical implications – The findings provide new insights for educators, suggesting that hexis can serve as a means of shaping and controlling children’s behavior to achieve specific educational visions.  Originality/value – This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating how RA Ummah 5 constructs its own version of piety—nurturing a rabbani generation that is spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually intelligent. The form of piety developed through bodily hexis is neither dictated by the market nor aligned with radicalism, as often emphasized in prior studies. Instead, this research highlights how bodily hexis is strategically employed as a medium for transmitting and internalizing Islamic values in early childhood education, in accordance with the ideology constructed by the school.Paper type Research paper
