Abstract

Husband's knowledge, attitudes and motivation about TT immunization really help reduce maternal mortality, because knowing immunization will allow a pregnant woman to go to a health service more quickly so that care can be provided by a midwife to screen for this risk, namely early detection of complications. To find out the factors associated with the completeness of tetanus toxoid immunization in third trimester pregnant women at UPT Puskesmas Sumbang, Enrekang Regency. The research was conducted in May 2023. The population in this study were all pregnant women who had their pregnancies checked at the UPT Puskesmas Sumbang, Enrekang Regency. The sample in this study were 40 pregnant women in their third trimester at the UPT Puskesmas Sumbang, Enrekang Regency, using the accidental sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and TT immunization. The results showed that there was a relationship between attitude and TT immunization. The results showed that there was a relationship between motivation and TT immunization. It is expected that health workers, especially midwives, will provide information through counseling about tetanus toxoid (TT) immunization.

Abstract

Teenagers are the next generation of the nation. Adolescent girls in their life cycle experience menstruation. Menstruation is a natural cycle that occurs in a woman's body. Some women experience disturbances in the process of the menstrual cycle. So that every woman should know the problems that occur in her body so that early detection of accompanying diseases can be carried out. This activity aims to provide information and increase youth knowledge about reproductive health and PCOS. This educational process uses the lecture method with the help of leaflets. The results obtained from this activity are that young women understand reproductive health, especially menstruation and PCOS and understand the importance of early detection. The assessment is based on the response and enthusiasm of the participants in receiving the material provided. Including the positive response of participants in answering questions correctly when asked questions by the speaker.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk 1) meningkatkan kompetensi literasi menulis guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah di Sleman Barat melalui pengembangan literasi membaca kreatif, 2) mengeksplorasi strategi literasi yang dimiliki guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah di Sleman Barat, dan 3) memberikan pendampingan kepada guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah di Sleman Barat terkait strategi literasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM, baik dilakukan secara daring maupun luring, dibagi menjadi tiga tahapan, yaitu workshop, praktik menulis, dan evaluasi. Peserta workshop adalah perwakilan guru dari 29 SD Muhammadiyah di Sleman Barat. Hasil kegiatan PkM workshop ini menunjukkan bahwa para guru mampu dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mereka dalam literasi membaca kreatif yang diaplikasikan dalam berbagai genre teks. Secara umum, peserta memberikan penilaian baik dan sangat baik setelah mengikuti workshop, dengan indikator tertinggi pada kriteria interaksi antara tim panitia dengan peserta, yaitu sebesar 77,19%. Hambatan yang dihadapi saat kegiatan adalah alokasi waktu untuk presentasi hasil literasi dan evaluasi secara luring.

Abstract

Perkembangan kognitif mengacu pada perkembangan anak dalam berpikir dan kemampuan untuk memberikan alasan. Secara umum, pengertian dari perkembangan kognitif adalah perubahan dalam pemikiran, kecerdasan, dan bahasa anak. Penelitian ini bertujua untuk mengetahui hubungan interaksi sosial orang tua terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Pa'bentengang Kabupaten Bantaeng. Desain penelitian digunakan metode Cross Sectional Study. Populasi penelitian ini semua anak berusia 4-6 tahun yang berada di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Pa'bentengang Kabupaten Bantaeng sebanyak 199 orang dengan menggunakan rumus pengambilan sampel maka diperoleh sebanyak 67 orang pengambilan sampel secara Purosive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden dengan interaksi sosial baik sebanyak 56 orang (83,6%) dan kurang baik sebanyak 11 orang (16,4%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden dengan perkembangan kognitif baik sebanyak 55 orang (82,1%) dan kurang baik sebanyak 12 orang (17,9%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan interaksi sosial orang tua terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini nilai ρ = 0,003<dari α=0,05. Disarankan agar para orang tua belajar lebih dalam lagi tentang tata cara menstimulasi perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini melalui berbagai alat permainan yang dapat merangsang perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini

Abstract

Dental and oral health is an integral part of overall health; however, it often receives less attention in school-age children. One of the most common problems is dental caries, which is closely related to poor tooth brushing skills. To address this issue, animated video media was applied as an interactive and enjoyable health education tool. This research aims to analyze the effect of dental and oral health education using animated video media on tooth brushing skills among grade I and II students at SD Negeri 2 Carawali, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test–post-test control group. The research stages included preparation, intervention, and evaluation of tooth brushing skills. The results showed that animated video media was effective in improving children’s tooth brushing skills, with a significant increase in skill scores in the intervention group compared to the control group (p < 0.05). Thus, dental and oral health education using animated video media is feasible and effective in enhancing proper tooth brushing skills in early elementary school children.
