Abstract

The socio-economic situation of the family plays a role in children's development. This research seeks to analyze more deeply the relationship between parents' economic conditions and the continuity of children's education after 9 years of compulsory education in Pasrepan, Pasrepan District, Pasuruan Regency. This research was conducted using a quantitative research approach. The type of research used is correlational research, namely research intended to determine whether there is a relationship between two or several variables. The results of the research show that parents' economics are related to the continuity of children's education after 9 years of compulsory education. It is proven that as many as 19 respondents who were classified as high level had their children continue to high school. Meanwhile, only 2 respondents classified as low level had their children continue to a high school level and 8 low level economic respondents had their children not continue to a high school level. From this presentation it can be concluded that the biggest reason parents face in sending their children to school is cost. Abstract

This study aims to determine the method of making durian thorn cake with flour substituted for wheat flour to find out how the respondent's preference for durian thorn cake from durian seed flour is from the aspect of aroma, colour, texture and taste. This research method is a type of qualitative experimental research. The research location is STP AMPTA Yogyakarta. The population of this study were cookie producers and students of STP AMPTA Yogyakarta, with a sample of 15 panellists. The data collection method in this research is primary data and secondary data. And the data analysis method of this research is a hedonic test or preference test with Microsoft Excel program. The results of this study indicate that the aroma indicator has an average of 4.46 and a percentage of 89.33% with the criteria of very like, the colour indicator has an average of 4.13 and a percentage of 82.67% with the criteria of liking, the texture indicator has an average of 4.33 and the percentage 86.67% with criteria like very much and the taste indicator has a mean of 4.33 and a percentage of 83.33% with criteria like. So it can be concluded that respondents like durian thorn cake with durian seed flour in terms of aroma, colour, texture and taste.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan Google Sites sebagai media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan asistensi mengajar di SMAN 1 Arosbaya. Bermula dari rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran, dimana guru masih dominan menggunakan media konvensional seperti PowerPoint dan bahan cetak. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, serta pengembangan dan implementasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan divalidasi menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitas setiap fitur berjalan dengan baik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites layak digunakan sebagai sarana pendukung pembelajaran. Media ini mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan keterampilan literasi digital dengan menyediakan akses pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, serta mudah diakses baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas.

Abstract

This community engagement program addresses the issue of limited parental involvement in nurturing children’s creativity and environmental awareness in early childhood settings. Many parents tend to focus on academic outcomes rather than process-oriented learning, which restricts opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and develop creative thinking. The focus of this program is to strengthen the role of parents as primary facilitators in fostering creativity and ecological sensitivity through an ecoprint-based learning activity. The program aims to: (1) enhance parents’ practical skills and understanding of creativity-oriented parenting; (2) cultivate children’s creativity and fine motor development through hands-on ecoprint activities; and (3) build meaningful collaborative interactions between parents and children. The method employed is the “Parent-as-Facilitator” model combined with a learning by doing approach grounded in local flora wisdom. Strategies include capacity building workshops, mindset transformation sessions, activity-based engagement, and guided simulations of effective parenting communication and emotional regulation. The results of the community engagement show significant improvements in three aspects: (1) parents demonstrated greater competence in ecoprint techniques and adopted more supportive, process-oriented parenting behaviors; (2) children exhibited increased creativity, environmental awareness, and fine motor skills; and (3) family interactions became more positive through increased quality time and shared learning experiences. Overall, this program demonstrates that ecoprint can serve as an effective medium for integrating creativity development and environmental education within the family context.
