Abstract

AbstractA formative assessment needs to be conducted at the end of each topic discussion to know the progress of some learning activity, but teachers often skip it because of limited time and cost. Plickers (Paper Clickers) is a formative assessment technology without requiring students to bring electronic devices, but rather by scanning students’ responses through QR code on a card with smartphone that connected to internet. Chemistry teacher of SMK Kesehatan Wonosari was implement Plickers   in formative assessment. This study aims to describe students’ perception of the use of Plickers in Chemistry learning outcomes assessment in digital era. The reason for conducting this research is there is no research in Indonesia to investigate students’ perceptions about the use of Plickers   as an assessment of Chemistry learning outcomes. So, this study results can be used as a reference for teachers in assessing learning outcome by using Plickers . This study uses a descriptive mixed research method between quantitative and qualitative with using questionnaire instrument. This study results showed that the majority of students believed in the importance of learning outcomes assessment with Plickers   because they would get immediate feedback and the learning environment become more active and enjoyable.AbstrakPenilaian hasil belajar perlu dilakukan pada setiap akhir pembahasan suatu topik untuk mengetahui sejauh mana capaian suatu proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan penilaian formatif sering dilewatkan guru karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Plickers adalah teknologi penilaian formatif tanpa mengharuskan siswa untuk membawa perangkat elektronik, melainkan dengan sistem pemindaian respon siswa melalui QR Code pada media kartu dengan perangkat kamera smartphone yang terhubung dengan internet. Guru Kimia di SMK Kesehatan Wonosari telah menggunakan Plickers  dalam penilaian formatif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan Plickers   dalam penilaian hasil belajar Kimia di era digital. Alasan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini yaitu karena belum banyak penelitian untuk menyelidiki persepsi siswa terhadap penggunaan Plickers sebagai penilaian hasil belajar Kimia di Indonesia. Sehingga, hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi guru dalam melakukan penilaian hasil belajar dengan memanfaatkan Plickers. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode campuran deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrumen angket dengan Skala Likert dan pertanyaan terbuka untuk mengumpulkan data persepsi siswa kelas XII di SMK Kesehatan Wonosari tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa percaya pentingnya penilaian hasil belajar dengan Plickers karena mereka akan mendapat umpan balik secara langsung dan membuat lingkungan belajar menjadi aktif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a very significant impact on paradigm shifts and learning activities. Currently, ICT has a great opportunity to be utilized and contribute optimally to facilitate students during learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The main purpose of this research is to analyze specifically the teacher's views regarding the implementation and use of ICT-based learning media that takes place during learning from home during the covid-19 pandemic. This research design includes qualitative research. The subjects in this study were subject teachers in high schools. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observations and interviews, with the instruments being questionnaire items, observation sheets and interview guidelines. Data from the questionnaire were analyzed by triangulation, through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that so far teachers use media as learning aids in the form of printed modules, and assignment sheets, besides the lecture method and presentation media also dominate in the continuity of learning activities, teachers still persist not to use ICT in the learning process, especially to support the independent learning process during the covid-19 pandemic. Innovation through the integration of ICT in the learning process is an important thing for teachers have to do, especially now that students are carrying out learning from home, so that students will remain enthusiastic and motivated to carry out a series of independent learning activities.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Vocational High Schools (SMK) faces significant challenges, particularly the dominance of traditional teaching methods and the limited involvement of parents in the learning process. This study aims to develop a Moodle Plus–based e-learning platform integrated with parental involvement as supervisory partners, and to evaluate its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the plomp model, which consists of preliminary investigation, prototype development, and assessment phases. The trial involved 31 tenth-grade students at SMKN 2 Yogyakarta, adopting a One-Group Pretest–Posttest design. The validity of the e-learning platform was assessed using ISO 25010 standards, focusing on functionality, usability, and portability. Effectiveness was measured by comparing pretest and posttest results through the Wilcoxon test. The findings indicate thatthe Moodle Plus–based e-learning platform is valid, with product moment correlation values of r = 1 for functionality and portability (excellent) and r = 0.607 for usability (good). The Wilcoxon test produced a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), demonstrating a substantial improvement in students’ psychomotor learning outcomes after using the platform. In conclusion, Moodle Plus e-learning, supported by parental involvement as supervisory partners, is proven to be valid, practical, and effective, making it feasible for implementation as a Learning Management System in vocational schools.Keywords: e-learning, moodle plus, ISO 25010, parental collaboration

Abstract

Digital transformation in education is driving the integration of social-emotional aspects into learning, forming the field of Digital Social Emotional Learning (Digital-SEL). This study aims to map global trends in Digital-SEL research from 2015 to 2025 using bibliometric analysis. Data was obtained from Google Scholar and Scopus via Publish or Perish, curated with Mendeley, and visualized using VOSviewer. Results indicate that “social-emotional learning” is the dominant keyword, with strong associations to school contexts and teaching. Five thematic clusters were identified, reflecting a focus on student emotional well-being, digital technology integration, and innovative pedagogy. Terms like digital storytelling and online learning are gaining attention but have not yet demonstrated strong conceptual depth. This study confirms that Digital-SEL is an evolving interdisciplinary field and encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration to strengthen technology-based pedagogical frameworks.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan Google Sites sebagai media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan asistensi mengajar di SMAN 1 Arosbaya. Bermula dari rendahnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran, dimana guru masih dominan menggunakan media konvensional seperti PowerPoint dan bahan cetak. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model Hannafin dan Peck yang terdiri dari tiga tahap, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, desain, serta pengembangan dan implementasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan divalidasi menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitas setiap fitur berjalan dengan baik. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites layak digunakan sebagai sarana pendukung pembelajaran. Media ini mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan keterampilan literasi digital dengan menyediakan akses pembelajaran yang interaktif, menarik, serta mudah diakses baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas.
