Abstract

Cabang olahraga bola basket merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga prestasi dari berbagai cabang olahraga yang membutuhkan koordinasi mata tangan yang baik. Agar memiliki keterampilan shooting yang baik atlet atau mahasiswa tersebut dituntut untuk memiliki keadaan fisik yang baik dan juga teknik yang dapat menunjang dalam bermain sehingga permainan dapat dikuasai dengan maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan koordinasi mata tangan dengan shooting permainan bola basket mahasiswa Penjaskesrek FKIP Unsyiah Angkatan 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Penjaskesrek FKIP Unsyiah Angkatan 2013 yang berjumlah 78 orang, sedangkan pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling yaitu mahasiswa yang telah lulus matakuliah T.P Bola Basket minimal nilai B+. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) tes koordinasi mata tangan diukur dengan tes lempar tangkap bola tenis. (2) tes shooting permainan bola basket diukur dengan memasukkan bola sebanyak 30 detik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata tangan dengan shooting permainan bola basket pada mahasiswa Penjaskerek FKIP Unsyiah Angkatan 2013 (rxy = 0,42), koordinasi mata tangan memberi sumbangan sebesar 17% terhadap shooting permainan bola basket.Kata kunci : koordinasi mata tangan, shooting permainan bola basket

Abstract

Based on theoretical studies, the variable arm muscle power is an important factor of physical condition in supporting badminton smash skills. This study aims to determine the correlation between arm muscle power and badminton smash skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational research type. The research sample consisted of 73 people who were selected from physical Serambi Mekkah University, Banda Aceh. The research instruments used for each varibale were: arm muscle power using the shot put test instrument, while for badminton smash skills using a process and result test developed by the author himself, the data analysis stages consisted of calculating the mean, standard deviation.. The stages of data analysis carried out were the calculation of the average, standard deviation, determination of the t score, calculation of the correlation and the t test to determine the significance of the correlation between variables. Based on the analysis of research data, The correlation between arm muscle power and badminton smash skills is (r = 0.88. which means that there is a significant correlation between arm muscle power and badminton smash skills. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination, it was also found that arm muscle power contributed 78.68% to badminton smash skills.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research design with the type of case study research to find out information and descriptions of government policies in developing student sports achievements. Determination of research subjects to be used in this study was carried out by snowball sampling. The subjects in this study were all components of the education and culture office of Bener Meriah district, Aceh province, namely the head of the education and culture office, school principals and trainers. The data in this study were obtained based on the output of interviews using respondents. Data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation or display, and drawing conclusions. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The policy of the Department of Education and Culture in developing student sports is by allocating funds for coaching, optimizing extracurricular sports in schools, entrusting outstanding student athletes to their home schools and increasing the competence of training physical education teachers, (2) The role of the Department of Education and Culture in the development of student sports is to be in charge of fostering student sports by designing a planned, tiered, and ideal sports nursery implementation program. (3) The strategy used by the Department of Education and Culture in the development of student sports can be done by good talent scouting, regeneration of student athletes and the development of human resource competencies for physical education teachers in sports coaching

Abstract

Exercise is a simple and low-cost way to lose weight, but many people have become apprehensive to provide it. This activity aims to shift the community’s lifestyle from sedentary to active by encouraging physical activity through frequent gymnastics. Darussalam housewives gathered near the Universitas Syiah Kuala campus. There were two groups of 20 people: regular participants (n=11) and non-regular participants (n=9). Everyone in the study was between the ages of 30-45. Participants’ body weight (BW), height, and Body Mass Index (BMI) were measured before and after treatment. Participants did 60 minutes of gymnastics modified from Zumba, Aerobic, and Salsa, 3–4 times per week, at 05.00–06.00 p.m, for 12 weeks (3 months), and without any special diet. The regular group’s average age was 35.3 years, whereas the non-regular group’s average age was 36.78 years. The results showed that 80 percent and 22.22 percent of participants in the regular and non-regular groups, respectively, lost weight. Before and after exercise, the regular group’s mean BW decreased by 3.65 kg (68.25 and 84.6 vs. 59.19 and 59.25 kg), while the non-regular group’s BW increased by 0.06 kg. The regular exercise group’s BMI dropped by 1.53 kg/m2 after gymnastics (28.45 and 26.92 vs. 27.01 and 27.01 kg/m2), while the non-regular exercise group’s BMI remained unchanged. Gymnastic movements have been modified to include Zumba, Aerobics, and Salsa, which could reduce BW and BMI. As a result, sustained exercise is required to help people reduce their risk of obesity. This practice has helped the government of the Republic of Indonesia’s efforts to increase physical activity and decrease the sedentary lifestyle in the population, thereby improving societal health. Obesity in women can be treated and prevented with regular exercise.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the challenges in implementing the physical education curriculum in high school. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design to find out information and descriptions about the implementation of the physical education curriculum in high school. The subjects in this study were physical education teachers at high school in Aceh Tengah district, Aceh province, Aceh province. The data in this study were obtained based on the output of interviews with respondents. Data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation or display, and drawing conclusions. The conclusions from this study are: (1) The implementation of the physical education curriculum in high school is not optimal, it is indicated from the learning process where physical education teachers have not been able to carry out systematic learning starting from planning, implementation and evaluation, in addition to the learning process that have not used the scientific approach. The challenge for the physical education curriculum in high school is the lack of teacher knowledge regarding the concept of the physical education curriculum, so that it has an impact on the implementation of the curriculum that is not optimal

Abstract

Mental has such an important role in the process of fostering athlete achievement. The purpose of this study was to find out the mentality of the Aceh Province KONI Foster Training Pelatda athletes in the face of PON XXI 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra. Athletes who are mentally tough are athletes who are able to stabilize their emotions in every performance then they can be ascertained stay on top of the game, and will never allow himself to be complacent. This research is a quantitative type . The sample in this study were the KONI Fostered Pelatda athletes Aceh Province, sampling using purposive sampling technique, amounting to 12 athlete. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. Research result as follows: of the 12 athletes of the Aceh Province KONI Foster Training Plate, 9 of them have mentally tough or mental level to compete they are at a high level with the percentage is 75% and 3 of them are in a state of moderate mental level the percentage is 25%, which means they have guts and level very good self-confidence both during training and competition. those results shows how the mental picture of the Aceh Province KONI Foster Pelatda athlete facing PON XXI 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra.
