Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the relationship between school principal leadership, school culture and teacher work motivation on the professionalism of physical education teachers. The study uses a quantitative approach with the Ext-Post Facto method. The population in this study amounted to 952 people from 34 Public and Private Vocational High Schools (SMK) registered in MGMP (Subject Teachers' Consultation) Physical Education Vocational School Physical Education Serdang Bedagai Regency in North Sumatra Province in 2017. Samples of 30 physical education teachers from 34 Schools using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using path analysis. The results showed that the principal's leadership and work motivation of teachers directly affected teacher professionalism, while school culture would not affect teacher professionalism. The conclusion is that the principal's good leadership, healthy school culture, and high teacher motivation are factors of high and low teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak social agent terhadap prestasi atlet Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar (PPLP) Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan sebaran angket Social Agent Olahraga yang sudah disetujui oleh validator ahli dan dengan perhitungan kevaliditan butir soal. Dalam penelitian ini penulis memilih lokasi penelitian di Pusat Pendidikan dan Latihan Pelajar (PPLP) Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Adapun yang menjadi populasi pada penelitian ini adalah atlet PPLP Provinsi Sumut yang berjumlah 97 orang atlet. Maka sampel penelitian ini diambil sesuai dengan kriteria, sehingga jumlah sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang atlet.Hasil penelitian dari beberapa aspek agen sosialisasi (social agent), hanya 4 (empat) aspek yang memberikan dampak terhadap prestasi atlet PPLP Povinsi Sumut, yaitu; orang tua, pelatih, teman sebaya dan media massa.Social agent yang terdiri dari 4 (empat) aspek tersebut memberikan dampak terhadap prestasi atlet PPLP Provinsi Sumut sebesar, yaitu : orang tua (59%) dengan kategori cukup, pelatih (60%) dengan kategori cukup, teman sebaya (62%) dengan kategori baik dan media massa (58%) dengan kategori cukup, dan korelasi antara dampak social agent terhadap prestasi PPLP Provinsi Sumut adalah sebesar 70% dengan kategori cukup.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative research design with the type of case study research to find out information and descriptions of government policies in developing student sports achievements. Determination of research subjects to be used in this study was carried out by snowball sampling. The subjects in this study were all components of the education and culture office of Bener Meriah district, Aceh province, namely the head of the education and culture office, school principals and trainers. The data in this study were obtained based on the output of interviews using respondents. Data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation or display, and drawing conclusions. The conclusions of this study are: (1) The policy of the Department of Education and Culture in developing student sports is by allocating funds for coaching, optimizing extracurricular sports in schools, entrusting outstanding student athletes to their home schools and increasing the competence of training physical education teachers, (2) The role of the Department of Education and Culture in the development of student sports is to be in charge of fostering student sports by designing a planned, tiered, and ideal sports nursery implementation program. (3) The strategy used by the Department of Education and Culture in the development of student sports can be done by good talent scouting, regeneration of student athletes and the development of human resource competencies for physical education teachers in sports coaching

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop training aids (remote control and headset) for sprint athletes with visual impairments as a directional controller during a sprint running exercise program. The benefit of this research is to produce training aids for sprint athletes with visual impairments. This study uses research and development research and development methods. The research was carried out in 2 places, namely the Yapentra SLB-A school for small-scale trials and Karya Murni's SLB-A large-scale trials for the development of blind sprint athletes in North Sumatra NPC. The analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The conclusions of this study are: (1) In using remote control and headsets, athletes focus more on personal abilities without thinking about collaboration, acceleration and communication, (2) Using remote control and headsets, athletes are more confident and more independent in sprinting activities. Using remote control and headsets, guades and coaches are more focused in conveying information and are more efficient in training blind athletes with sprint running numbers by looking at personal abilities and motivation as sprint athletes running norms.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum in Batubara District. The components of curriculum implementation that are evaluated include: (1) student conditions, (2) teacher conditions, (3) teacher understanding of the curriculum, (4) conditions of infrastructure, (5) lesson planning, (6) implementation of scientific-based learning, (7) ) implementation of authentic assessments, and (8) authentic assessment results related to aspects of attitudes, knowledge and skills. The evaluation model used is the Model evaluation model Stake Countenance by collecting information on curriculum implementation component data and then comparing it with the standards of the ministry of education. The population consists of 13 SMK. The research subjects were principals and teachers who were determined by purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, and documentation sheets. The trial of the questionnaire instrument was conducted at a vocational school in Batubara district. Data analysis using descriptive techniques. The results of the study, the condition of the students was 93.4%, the condition of the teacher was 75%, the condition of the infrastructure was 69.3%, the understanding of the 2013 curriculum was 80%, the lesson planning or RPP was 75%, the implementation of learning was 95%, the implementation 90% authentic assessment, 82.5% authentic assessment results. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that all aspects in each stage have not been fulfilled maximally according to the standard.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar pencak silat berbasis KKNI yang diawali dengan melakukan re-desain kurikulum (GBPP/Silabus) yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan KKNI serta pengguna sehingga menghasilkan produk kontrak perkuliahan dan Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS) dalam bentuk print out buku yang siap dipergunakan melalui prosesdiskusi dan seminar. Selanjutnya produk tersebut dikembangkan pada penelitian selanjutnya yaitu pengembangan bahan ajar mata kuliah pencak silat dasar berbasis kurikukum KKNI. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Medan khususnya Prodi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga. Untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan dilakukan observasi ke beberapa dosen pengampu serta mahasiswa mata kuliah pencak silat. Tahapan yang dilakukan menghasilkan menghasilkan produk kontrak perkuliahan, RPS mata kuliah pencak silat, dan draft awal bahan ajar pencak silat

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan groundstroke dengan menggunakan sasaran terhadap kemampuan groundstroke Komunitas Tenis Unimed 2020. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet putra yang berjumlah 7 orang yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Pretest – Posttest Group dengan latihan menggunakan sasaran yang dilaksanakan selama 6 minggu. Instrumen tes yang digunakan adalah Hewwit Tennis Test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas Lilifors, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis yaitu Uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji hipotesis yaitu pada kemampuan groundstroke forehand diperoleh thitung (4,4152) > ttabel (2,44691), sedangkan pada kemampuan groundstroke backhand diperoleh thitung (4,1030) > ttabel(2,44691). Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh latihan dengan menggunakan sasaran terhadap kemampuan groundstroke

Abstract

In line with the theories which write that motion can help improve cognitive abilities, the golden age of formation is at the age of 5-6 years. The sample taken was early childhood education, with the aim of the study was to see the influence of basic movement skills on cognitive abilities. The research method uses experiment. Basic movement skills become a stimulant to help improve basic movement skills. With a sample size of 28 people who were divided into 2 groups, it was found that children with high basic motor skills were in line with children's cognitive abilities. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that the kindergarten / early childhood education level units will make movement skills the focus that is applied to the curriculum.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Medan dalam hal literat informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed method.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Medan yang beralamat di Jalan Williem Iskandar Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara.Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel, dengan menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling, sehingga dapatlah 152 orang sampel. Total narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang yang terdiri dari 1 ketua program studi PJKR, 1 ketua program studi PKO, 1 ketua program studi IKOR dan 1 Kepala Perpustakaan digital library Unimed.Untuk mendapatkan data bagi keperluan penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi terhadap narasumber Ketua Prodi, Kepala Perspustakaan dan Mahasiswa FIK Unimed. Kemudian kuesioner dibagikan kepada mahasiswa FIK Unimed. Keberhasilan 77,9% dalam temuan peneliti adalah bahwa mahasiswa sudah lebih memahami sumber informasi apa yang harus mereka gunakan untuk tugas mereka serta bagaimanakah akses dan penggunaan informasi baik dari buku maupun dari internet yang digunakan. Namun 22,1% yang menjadi kendala yaitu dimana banyak mahasiswa tidak paham dalam hal penggunaan informasi yang mereka butuhkan. Kemudian dapat disimpulka bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Medan secara keseluruhan diperoleh dengan kategori baik .Dimana banyak indikator yang sudah menjadi lebih baik dibandingkan sebelumnya karena banyak faktor yang membangun terciptanya kemampuan literasi informasi mahasiswa salah satunya adalah penerapan KKNI.Keywords: Literasi Informasi, Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan.

Abstract

Perguruan Kei Shin Kan Karate-do Provinsi Sumatera Utara banyak mengalami penurunan perolehan medali sejak lima tahun terakhir pada kejuaraan di daerah maupun di provinsi. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa prestasi atlet Kei Shin Kan Sumatera Utara semakin menurun, dan berdasarkan data wawancara atlet, pelatih, serta orang tua, peneliti meninjau ada faktor yang mempengaruhi penurunan prestasi tersebut terlihat dari psikologi atlet yaitu motivasi berprestasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mix methods yaitu menggabungkan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil kuesioner angket motivasi berprestasi atlet Kei Shin Kan Karate-Do Sumatera Utara dengan persentase sebesar 74,1% dengan kategori baik. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa keseluruhan psikologi atlet kei shin kan sudah baik namun terdapat beberapa kendala seperti kecemasan menjelang pertandingan, penurunan motivasi atau penuruan percaya diri menjelang bertanding. Dan hal ini dapat diatasi dengan latihan-latihan psikologi yang diterapkan pelatih. Keywords: Psikologi, Motivasi Berprestasi
