Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to: (1) determine the effect of interval training on increasing endurance (2) The effect of fartlek training on increasing endurance (3) How much influence do interval training and fartlek training have on increasing endurance? This research is experimental. The data collection technique uses a multi-stage fitness test. Statistical analysis techniques using the t test at a significance level of 5% are used to do the requirements analysis test, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. The conclusions from this study are: (1) There is a significant difference in the effect of the interval training group on increasing endurance. This is evidenced by tcount = 9.8827, which is greater than ttable = 2.776 with a significance level of 5%. (2) There is a significant difference in the effect of the fartlek training group on increasing endurance. This is evidenced by tcount = 9.8717, which is greater than ttable = 2.776 with a significance level of 5%; (3) Interval training has a better effect than fartlek training on increasing endurance.Keywords: Interval Training, Fartlek Training, EnduranceAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Pengaruh interval training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan (2) Pengaruh fartlek training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan (3) Seberapa besar pengaruh interval training dan fartlek training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan multi stage fitness test. Teknik analisis statistik menggunakan uji t pada taraf signifikansi 5%, untuk dilakukan uji persyaratan analisis yaitu dengan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Simpulan dari penelitian ini : (1) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan pada kelompok interval training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari thitung = 9,8827 lebih besar dari pada ttabel = 2,776 dengan taraf signifikasi 5%.; (2) Ada perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan pada kelompok fartlek training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan. Hal ini dibuktikan dari thitung = 9,8717 lebih besar dari pada ttabel = 2,776 dengan taraf signifikasi 5%; (3) Interval training lebih baik pengaruhnya dari pada fartlek training terhadap peningkatan daya tahan.Kata Kunci: Interval Training, Fartlek Training, Daya Tahan

Abstract

This research includes research objectives to evaluate the effect of the traditional game Gobak Sodor on improving gross motor skills. The research method used is a quantitative method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The research population was class IV students at SDN 1 Cipedes, the sample used was a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 16 class IV students. Data collection techniques were carried out through pre-tests and post-tests regarding students' abilities in terms of running speed. The research instrument used was a running speed test with a distance of 30 meters. Before the posttest, the researcher will provide treatment in the form of practicing the game Gobak Sodor. After the pretest-posttest is carried out, the researcher will carry out data processing to determine the students' running speed after practicing the game Gobak Sodor.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training using Plyometric on sickle kick speed in pencak silat extracurricular participants at Smp Negeri 1 Pancalang, Kuningan Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach. The research method used is experimental research. The population used was extracurricular pencak silat participants at SMP Negeri 1 Pancalang, totaling 30 students. The sample used in this study was 15 students. VIII grade students as many as 4 students and VII grade as many as 11 students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique which is included in non-probality sampling. This study uses an experimental method using the "One Group Pretest-Posttest Design" design. The results of the study are described using descriptive statistical analysis as follows, for pretest results, the average (mean) = 18.8, with a standard deviation (std. Deviation) = 2.27408, while for posttest, the average (mean) = 21.5, with a standard deviation (std. Deviation) = 2.06559. Based on the t test analysis conducted, it can be seen that there is a significant effect of the Plyometric training program on improving sickle kick skills, which can be seen from the calculated t value of 9.282 which is greater than the t table value of 2.160 (9.282> 2.160) and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so there is a significant influence on extracurricular pencak silat participants of SMPN 1 Pancalanng.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' interest in the sport of rounders with the Direct Instruction learning model. This research will be carried out at SMPN 1 Kalimanggis with research subjects being class VIII students at SMPN 1 Kalimanggis for the 2023/2024 academic year, and the sample used is class VIII A. This research is quantitative research with the type of pre-experimental research (pre-experimental designs) used in this research being one-group pre test – post test design. The research instruments used were observation and questionnaires using a Likert scale. The questionnaire or questionnaire will later be distributed twice during the pre-test and post-test. Before the post-test, the researcher will carry out treatment to deepen the material on baseball for the students. After the pre-test - post-test is carried out, the researcher will carry out data processing to determine the students' interest in the sport of rounders.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the direct teaching instruction learning model on student on volleyball passing at MTs Ciniru. This research is quantitative research with the design used is one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects f this research were class VIII students at MTS Ciniru, and the sample used was 15 students. The research instrument used was a test on students in carrying out upper passing learning. The research results obtained tcount of 23,196 and t tabel value of 1.753. Therefore, the value of tcount >ttabel means it can be concluded that the direct teaching instruction method can improve the upper passing ability of class VIII students at MTs Ciniru. The magnitude of the increase in upper passing ability, after being given direct teaching instruction training to class class VIII/A students at MTs Ciniru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the significant increase in leg muscle power on the speed of straight kicks in the Tapak Suci extracurricular program at SD Aisyiyah Kuningan through plyometric barrier hops. The method used is a pre-experimental one-group pretest and posttest design. Data collection was conducted using the Vertical Jump test instrument and the straight kick test instrument developed by (Hidayat, 2021) with a reliability of 0.632 and a validity of 0.361. The t-test method was used for data analysis. The sample in this study consisted of students from the Tapak Suci extracurricular program at SD Aisyiyah Kuningan, using the saturated sampling technique. This study aims to examine the effect of increased leg muscle power on the speed of straight kicks in the Tapak Suci extracurricular program at SD Aisyiyah Kuningan. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of leg muscle power training, specifically barrier hops, on the speed of straight kicks in the Tapak Suci extracurricular program at SD Aisyiyah Kuningan. The calculated t-value (t_hitung) of 2.447 is greater than the t-table value (t_tabel) of 1.703, with a significance level of 0.021, which is less than 0.05.

Abstract

Long jump is one of the branches of athletics. As we know, athletics involves physical activities or exercises that consist of natural movements such as walking, jumping, and throwing. Various methods in athletics have been practiced since the early history of humankind. History indicates that in ancient classical times, athletics was conducted in an organized and structured manner, and over time, its programs underwent changes and improvements based on healthy ideas. Today, athletics is a complex sport that includes various tests based on the requirements of its implementation. Observation results show that a long jump athlete is required to achieve maximum jumps (distance), which is measured from the take-off board to the nearest point of landing. Preliminary studies revealed that students were not achieving optimal results in long jump performances. The evident obstacles include a lack of facilities and infrastructure to support long jump training and a shortage of qualified teachers to instruct physical education. As a result, the training techniques used appear monotonous and boring for the students. Thus, the research question posed is: what is the effect of modifying the take-off board on the results of the squat-style long jump among students of SDN 06 Tegalsari, Ampelgading District, Pemalang Regency? The method used in this study is the experimental method. Theoretically, the definition of an experiment according to Umar (2018:161) is "a trial in which each step of the action has been defined in such a way that information related to or required for the problem being investigated can be collected.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the complaints that some students were less enthusiastic about learning about running. (2) Some female students tend to be less active, when they are learning sports they get bored quickly and just sit on the side of the field. (3) The lessons given have not been packaged in modifications so that students are found who are less enthusiastic, bored and lazy to move. (4) Facilities and infrastructure such as balls, there are only two standard balls, one of which is leaky and the other is very hard when kicked. (5) The field used is made of paving. For this reason, the problem formulation can be drawn: How does Interval Training influence the 100 meter running speed of Class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Ampelgading? This research method is development research which refers to the development model from Borg & Gall. (1) carry out product analysis to be developed from the results of field observations and literature review. (2) developing the initial product form. (3) expert evaluation using one physical education expert and two junior high school physical education learning experts. (4) small group trials (10 students) using questionnaires and evaluation sheets which were then analyzed. (4) initial product revision. (5) large-scale trial (28 students). (6) revision of the final product after conducting large-scale field trials. (7) final results of the learning development model using interval techniques through revision of large-scale field trials. The data analysis technique uses the percentage description technique.

Abstract

Football is a sport that requires mastery of basic techniques, one of which is dribbling. Dribbling techniques are very important because they serve to control the ball, pass opponents, and create opportunities in the game. Based on initial observations at SSB Selection FC Pabuaran, Cirebon Regency, it is known that the mastery of dribbling techniques in U-14 athletes is still relatively low. This is shown through unfocused gaze when dribbling, improper touching, and lack of balance when dribble, which has an impact on the effectiveness of the game and the team's overall performance. One of the factors that causes the weakness of dribbling ability is the lack of variety of exercises, especially those that emphasize the aspects of speed and agility. Exercises with the zig-zag trajectory method are an effective form of exercise to improve speed, agility, and ball control. This method helps hone motor response, maneuver accuracy, and dribbling skills in dynamic game conditions. This study aims to find out the extent of the influence of dribbling practice using the zig-zag trajectory method on increasing dribbling speed in U-14 football athletes at SSB Selection FC Pabuaran. The research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and dribbling tests before and after treatment. The results of this study are expected to provide an empirical picture of the effectiveness of zig-zag training on the technical aspects of the game of football at an early age. In addition, this research is also expected to be a reference for coaches in designing a more structured training program that is in accordance with the development needs of young athletes. Thus, the development of basic techniques from an early age will be more optimal and contribute to the improvement of national football achievements in the future.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of determining the extent to which leg power training through the box jump method influences the increase in volleyball smash jump height in extracurricular participants at SMK Negeri 1 Kuningan. Volleyball requires good physical abilities, especially explosive leg muscle power, because this skill plays a very important role in performing the smash movement as the main form of attack. One form of training that is believed to be able to increase explosive power is box jump training, which is a type of plyometric training that emphasizes repeated jumping movements with high intensity. The research method used was an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study involved a sample group consisting of 15 students, taken using a total sampling technique from all volleyball extracurricular members. The data collection instrument used the vertical jump smash test according to Ali Maksum. The test was conducted in two stages, namely before treatment (pretest) and after treatment (posttest). The results of data analysis showed a significant increase after being given treatment in the form of box jump training. This is evidenced by a significance value (p) of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a real difference between the pretest and posttest results. In other words, box jump training has been shown to be effective in increasing smash height. These findings indicate that training programs designed to incorporate plyometric elements, particularly box jumps, can optimally develop leg muscle explosive power. Therefore, this study recommends that coaches and sports teachers incorporate box jumps as a primary training component in volleyball skills development programs, significantly improving players' offensive performance.
