Abstract

This study aims to analyze concept of human development from an Islamic perspective, focusing on characteristics of development, description stages of human development according Al-Qur'an, and comparison with Western views. The method used in this study is Qualitative Study. Results of the study indicate that Islam views human development holistically, encompassing physical, psychological, spiritual, and moral aspects. In contrast to Western theories that emphasize cognitive and psychosocial aspects, Islam emphasizes the goal of development as an effort to achieve happiness in this world and hereafter. Al-Qur'an describes stages of human life in detail, from the process of creation to maturity and old age, even to the post-mortem phase. This study shows that Islamic concept of human development can be an important foundation in education and character development based on divine values

Abstract

Taman Teknologi Pertanian merupakan lembaga konservasi yang didirikan atas prakarsa Kementrian Pertanian. Terletak di desa Ngadirejan Kecamatan Pringkuku. Lembaga ini merupakan sarana konservasi yang disuguhkan melalui informasi teknologi dengan konsep taman. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui produk unggulan yang ada di Taman Teknologi Pertanian Kabupaten Pacitan, (2) Mengetahui literasi konservasi terhadap produk unggulan di Taman Teknologi Pertanian Pringkuku Kabupaten Pacitan, (3) Mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi literasi konservasi terhadap produk unggulan di Taman Teknologi Pertanian Pringkuku Kabupaten Pacitan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif survei dan tujuan untuk melakukan eksplanasi terhadap suatu keadaan. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan keterampilan literasi konservasi terhadap produk unggulan di taman teknologi pertanian adalah tinggi. Karena nilai t hitung 41,592 > t tabel 1,689 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan literasi konservasi terhadap produk unggulan di taman teknologi pertanian adalah tinggi sehingga dapat disimpulkan Taman Teknologi Pertanian Kabupaten Pacitan sangat berpotensi untuk meningkatkan pengembangan produk unggulan Taman Teknologi Pertanian dan dapat menjadi konservasi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe fine motor stimulation strategies in improving children's pre-writing skills through cutting activities at KB Pelangi. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving 17 children as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that cutting activities conducted in a gradual manner, supported by engaging learning media and intensive teacher guidance, can effectively enhance children's fine motor skills. This improvement is reflected in children's ability to hold scissors properly, better hand-eye coordination, ability to follow simple line patterns, and increased readiness for pre-writing activities. Therefore, cutting activities are effective as a strategy for stimulating fine motor development in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5–6 years through Gambang Suling dance learning based on YouTube media. The background of this research is the low level of gross motor skills among Group B children at Tunas Ananda Kindergarten, as indicated by limited balance, coordination, and ability to follow rhythmic movements. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 15 children. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analyzed descriptively using quantitative percentages of learning mastery. The results showed a significant improvement in children’s gross motor skills in each cycle. The mastery percentage increased from 42% in the pre-action stage to 68% in Cycle I, and reached 87% in Cycle II. This improvement occurred because the learning process integrated dance activities involving large muscle movements, utilized YouTube as an audiovisual medium, applied playback speed features to facilitate understanding of movements, and implemented a challenge-based learning approach that enhanced children’s motivation and engagement. Thus, it can be concluded that Gambang Suling dance learning based on YouTube media is effective in improving the gross motor skills of children aged 5–6 years.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of low self-confidence on the social development of early childhood at TK Tri Kusumo. A quantitative approach with a correlational design was employed to analyze the relationship between low self-confidence (X) and children’s social development (Y). The sample consisted of 25 children aged 4–6 years selected through total sampling. Data were collected using observation and structured questionnaires based on predefined indicators of both variables. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The findings revealed that the level of low self-confidence among children was relatively high, as indicated by behaviors such as shyness, hesitation in speaking, and reluctance to perform in front of others. Meanwhile, children’s social development was found to be suboptimal, particularly in communication, interaction, and cooperation skills. The correlation analysis showed a coefficient value of r = -0.67, indicating a strong negative relationship between low self-confidence and social development. This suggests that higher levels of low self-confidence are associated with lower levels of social development. Therefore, enhancing children’s self-confidence through supportive learning environments and appropriate stimulation from teachers and parents is essential to optimize their social development.

Abstract

Delayed attendance at the Early Childhood Education (ECE) level is often regarded as merely an administrative issue, whereas it has the potential to disrupt children’s cognitive stability during the golden age. This study aims to analyze the impact of lateness on children’s learning focus at TK Negeri Pembina Ngadirojo. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a purposive sampling technique, the study focuses observations on two subjects with the highest levels of lateness. The research findings, obtained through a questionnaire instrument, indicate that lateness is predominantly influenced by internal factors (scores 12–15), such as poor time management due to gadget use, compared to external factors (scores 6–8). Observational findings confirm that lateness triggers a phenomenon of “attention interruption,” in which children lose the momentum of initial apperception, resulting in reduced concentration throughout the learning process. This study contributes to the development of score-based intervention strategies for ECE educators to mitigate dysfunctions in domestic routines from an early stage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh permainan edukatif digital terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas V di MIN 1 Pacitan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi experimental design melalui desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 21 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 21 siswa kelas kontrol yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis berbentuk pilihan ganda yang disusun berdasarkan indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Instrumen telah divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli evaluasi pembelajaran dengan kategori valid serta memiliki nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,87. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pretest dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji homogenitas Levene’s Test, independent sample t-test, serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,78 dengan kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,44 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002 0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan permainan edukatif digital terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Secara ilmiah, temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan edukatif digital mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa, memberikan umpan balik langsung, serta mendorong proses analisis dan pengambilan keputusan dalam pembelajaran matematika.
