Abstract

The importance of continuous professional development is the development of teacher competencies, which is carried out according to needs, in stages, continuously to improve their professionalism, and one of them is by writing scientific publication articles.  The scientific publication article itself is a condition for promotion or class in order to advance a teacher's career. However, the reality in the field is that teachers have difficulty writing scientific publication articles because teachers have not received in-depth assistance in writing articles, even though the government has provided some kind of coaching for teachers about writing articles. The service aims to help teachers understand the importance of writing scientific publication articles. The target in this community service was the teachers at SMP N 4 Boyolali, with 39 participants. The solutions offered are first, understanding the characteristics of the research process; second, practical training in writing scientific publication articles; and third, submitting articles through the Open Journal System. The implication of the results of this dedication, apart from holding a kind of follow-up workshop, is to conduct initial research on topics around the school.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of daily religious habituation (amal yaumiyah) on students' discipline in learning fiqh at SMP Islam Terpadu Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo in the academic year 2025/2026. Daily religious habituation refers to routine religious activities practiced by students to cultivate religious values and discipline in everyday life. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design involving 51 students as participants. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and the instruments were tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results show that daily religious habituation has a positive and significant influence on students' discipline in learning fiqh, as indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.647 and the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.419. This means that daily religious habituation contributes 41.9% to students' learning discipline in fiqh, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside the research variables.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited development of psychomotor skills in Fiqh learning, which affects students’ critical thinking abilities. Fiqh learning tends to emphasize cognitive and affective aspects, resulting in students’ limited ability to apply knowledge in real-life situations. Therefore, this study aims to describe the implementation of psychomotor skills in improving critical thinking abilities and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Klaten with class X-D students in the 2025/2026 academic year as the subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and validated using technique and source triangulation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of psychomotor skills through religious practices, muamalah simulations, discussions, and reflection activities enhances students’ activeness and critical thinking abilities. Supporting factors include the role of teachers, varied teaching methods, and a conducive religious environment, while inhibiting factors include limited facilities, time constraints, and low student motivation. Therefore, psychomotor skills play a significant role in improving students’ critical thinking abilities in Fiqh learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the implementation of gender-segregated classrooms, students' learning enthusiasm, and the effect of classroom segregation between male and female students on students' learning enthusiasm in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMK At-Taqwa Muhammadiyah Miri in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative correlational approach. The population and sample consisted of 37 students. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation, and observation. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, Product Moment correlation, simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the implementation of classroom segregation was categorized as good with a mean score of 83.68, while students' learning enthusiasm was also categorized as good with a mean score of 82.49. The Product Moment correlation test yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.529 with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant relationship between classroom segregation and students' learning enthusiasm. The simple linear regression analysis produced the equation Y = 41.618 + 0.488X, while the t-test result showed a t-value of 3.691 with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.280, indicating that classroom segregation contributed 28% to students' learning enthusiasm. Therefore, classroom segregation between male and female students has a positive and significant effect on students' learning enthusiasm in Islamic Religious Education at SMK At-Taqwa Muhammadiyah Miri.
