Abstract

Instagram as one of the social media that has active users with a high number of users is an example of the use of social media as promotional media. However, limitations on Instagram by not allowing placing a "Link" to a post cause limitations in promoting products or services. Instagram is a native app-based application found in app stores such as the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store that requires memory on a smartphone to be installed. Based on these problems the author has a desire to create an application that can be used as a medium of sharing and promotion for various types of content that can be channeled through images that are categorized into images and videos, each uploaded image can be embedded with certain "Links" using Progressive Web Apps Technology ( PWA). The goal of implementing Progress Web Application is to design and build a system that can share content with other users. The result of the implementation of PWA is to increase the number of visitors (visitors) an average of two times on content published on the website when compared to conditions before using PWA technology.

Abstract

Bangladeshis began their fight for independence on March 26, 1971, as a response to Pakistani rule that was unfair to their race and treated them like a colony within their own country. Between the start of the Liberation War and November, the UNO's main job was to provide aid and support for civilians. When India and Pakistan went to war on December 3 over the Liberation War, the UN Security Council got very busy. The Security Council met nonstop during this time and discussed many ideas and counter-proposals. Two superpowers of this time, USA and the Soviet Union, took opposing positions in the Security Council. United States and China sided with Pakistan while Soviet Union sided with Bangladesh (East Pakistan). In the Security Council, France and Britain remained neutral and did not vote. The Security Council could not reach a consensus. After debate and vote in the Security Council, the agenda was transmitted to the General Assembly on 6 December. General Assembly passed a 'Unity Formula for Peace' resolution by an overwhelming majority on December 7. India and Bangladesh rejected this idea; therefore, the US called a second Security Council session. The Security Council met from 12 to 21 December at various times. Bangladesh's independence on December 16 altered everything. International representatives acknowledged reality and unanimously approved a ceasefire agreement on December 21, resolving the long-awaited Bangladesh problem.

Abstract

A individual or household is said to be in poverty if their income is insufficient to cover even the most basic requirements. According to BPS, 40% of Indonesians live in the country with the weakest economy. The use of power subsidies is one of the government's strategies for combating poverty. To combat poverty, the government works with PT. PLN to implement an electrical subsidy scheme that distributes payments to disadvantaged neighborhoods. The goal of the subsidy is to ensure the availability of power while assisting underprivileged customers and those who haven't heard from PT. PLN so they may take part in enjoying electrical energy. However, there are still challenges when there are several procedures, which makes it difficult to make judgments since they must take into account numerous factors. Using TOPSIS to solve 10 possibilities, including the following, is one way to get around the FMADM's various requirements: job, income, dependents, vehicle assets, home ownership, building area, source of drinking water, electrical power range, kind of floor, and type of house wall. According to the study's precise findings, only 11 residents out of 20 submissions received immediate recommendations for receiving power subsidies without having to wait a lengthy period. Additionally, although 9 people received recommendations for aid, only 1 received a recommendation against receiving support.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of lecturers in higher education using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method. The main problem faced is the complexity of assessing lecturers based on the Tri Dharma of Higher Education-education, research, and community service-as well as the challenges of subjectivity and inefficiency in manual assessment. MAUT was chosen due to its ability to consider various assessment criteria in a structured and objective manner and follows the standardization of outstanding lecturer assessment including: Education, Research, Community Service, Discipline, Commitment, Cooperation Ability and Ability to innovate. The results showed that Adi Fajar Insani had the best performance with a total final score of 1.01, while Dian Eka Fitriani had the lowest score of 0.00. The MAUT method proved effective in providing a comprehensive and fair assessment, overcoming the limitations of traditional methods that are not thorough. The conclusion of this study is that the application of MAUT can improve the objectivity, efficiency, and accuracy of the lecturer evaluation process, thus encouraging the improvement of lecturer quality and productivity in various fields. Further research is recommended to develop more relevant assessment criteria, involve larger samples, and explore the use of more sophisticated technology to support the assessment process.

Abstract

This research examines the challenges and opportunities of incorporating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into Dhakil-level Madrasa teaching in Bangladesh. Despite the government's attempts to modernize education, ICT adoption in Madrasas remains much lower than in mainstream schools, with just 25% incorporating ICT into their curricula, compared to more than 70% in secondary schools. The study takes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to evaluate the present level of ICT infrastructure, teacher readiness, and cultural attitudes toward ICT integration in Madrasas. The findings show that poor infrastructure, particularly in rural regions, and a lack of educated instructors are essential hurdles to effective ICT adoption. Cultural and ideological resistance within the Madrasa community hinders efforts to integrate new technology, with some stakeholders concerned that ICT may undermine traditional Islamic instruction. However, the report also highlights significant opportunities for ICT integration, such as government measures to improve teacher training and revise curriculum to incorporate ICT components. The study indicates that, while there are significant problems, ICT can potentially improve religious and secular education. To ensure effective ICT integration, focused expenditures in infrastructure, teacher training, and culturally relevant curriculum creation are required. These efforts can help bridge the digital gap and provide Madrasa students with the skills they need to succeed in today's technology-driven environment.

Abstract

The ability of a recommendation system to deliver relevant outcomes is significantly influenced by its adaptability to the dynamic nature of individual user preferences. Data-streaming-based recommendation systems face substantial challenges in aligning recommendations with rapid shifts in user preferences. Previous research on the development of skyline query algorithms has predominantly focused on processing efficiency and parallel performance optimization yet has not addressed the dynamic nature of individual user preferences—an essential factor for generating relevant and responsive recommendations in streaming data environments. This study aims to develop a skyline query algorithm called Distributed Data Skyline (DDSky) to provide recommendations based on dynamic individual user preferences within data-streaming contexts. DDSky leverages the Recency, Frequency, Monetary, and Rating (RFMRT) model to capture real-time changes in user preferences. This model is integrated with parallel skyline computation and structured to enhance the data processing efficiency on a large scale. The parallel processing approach divides tasks into smaller subtasks executed simultaneously across multiple threads. This strategy enables the simultaneous processing of attributes such as price, distance, and individual user preferences, thereby delivering relevant and responsive recommendations to real-time changes in user preferences. The DDSky algorithm was evaluated using a local dataset from the JALITA application and compared with the Eager algorithm. The results demonstrated that DDSky outperformed Eager, achieving an average recall value of 0.45 and an F1-measure of 0.55, compared to Eager's recall value of 0.33 and F1-measure of 0.47. Furthermore, DDSky achieved an average precision of 0.73, which closely approached Eager's precision of 0.82. Additionally, DDSky exhibited optimal throughput performance for datasets containing up to 10,000 items with high flexibility across various data types. With its unique technical approach, DDSky delivers more responsive and relevant recommendations to dynamic user preferences, establishing its superiority in data-streaming-based recommendation systems.
