Abstract

Agroindustri udang dihadapkan pada berbagai masalah yang kompleks dan rentan terhadap gangguan.Untuk dapat mengenali risiko masing-masing pelaku rantai pasok dan memilih tindakan berdasarkan prioritas diperlukan suatu model identifikasi dan evaluasi risiko.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modelidentifikasidan evaluasirisikorantai pasok udang. Identifikasi risiko akan dilakukan dengan pendekatan what-if analysis dan evaluasi risiko yang dikembangkan menggunakan model fuzzy FMEA, dengan input data dari beberapa ahli dan pelaku rantai pasok udang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaku petani mempunyai risiko yang paling tinggi dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,45. jika dibandingkan risiko pada tingkat pedagang pengumpul (0,29) dan risiko agroindustri (0,18). Risiko dominan pada tingkat petani disebabkan oleh kegagalan panen akibat serangan hama dan penyakit. Pada tingkat pengumpul risiko dominan adalah keberadaan dan loyalitas pemasok.Sedangkan pada tingkat prosesor risiko dominan adalah keragaman mutu pasokan dan kontaminasi antibiotik pada komoditi udang. Secara keseluruhan model ini dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktorrisiko dan variabel pada tiap tingkatan rantai pasok serta memilih tindakan prioritas sehingga akan diperolehrekomendasi berupa tindakan yang tepat untukmengantisipasinya. Kata kunci: identifikasi dan evaluasi risiko, rantai pasok udang, fuzzy FMEA

Abstract

The requirements to fullfill mobility of ecotourism activities have been urgent to support each traveler with the mobile gadget application. The objective of this research is to develop an application of recommendation system based on online user personalization. This application provided features to recommendation of ecotourism based on profile user and current location, then supplied information about distance and facilities in each ecotourism place. The main of computation worked online which was based on approach called as CARS (Context Aware Recommender Systems) algorithm. The result showed that the application framework succeeded to give appropriate recommendations and explaination on a mobile platform both in the form of profile based spatial data and user preferences.

Abstract

Abstract. This article aims to develop a model of human resources (HR) performance measurement for the nutmeg oil (Myristica fragrans) agro-industry in Aceh based on the Human Resource Scorecard (HRSC) method. The study uses the Relief method of system formulation to assess the effect of key performance attributes and to determine the association rules to facilitate the performance measurement system by taking into account the relationships between the attributes based on the support value and confidence value using Association Rules Mining (ARM). The analysis and design of the system are conducted using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method that includes the analysis of system requirements, and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) using Sybase-Power Designer version 16.5. The results showed that the analysis system is successfully developed through describing in detail the process flow of the entire circuit system in the study. The Relief method for system design was capable of producing a rank system of key attributes in HR performance measurement, namely high-performance work system (HPWS) and human resource system alignment (HRSA). The advanced data handling process with ARM generated association rules with the three highest rankings of the overall HR performance measurement system.Keywords. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model sistem pengukuran kinerja sumber daya manusia (SDM) agroindustri minyak pala (Myristica fragrans) Aceh berdasarkan metode Human Resource Scorecard (HRSC). Formulasi sistem menggunakan metode Relief untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja utama dari suatu atribut yang dinilai dan menentukan aturan asosiasi untuk memudahkan pengukuran kinerja dengan memperhatikan hubungan antar atribut berdasarkan nilai penunjang dan nilai kepastian menggunakan metode Association Rules Mining (ARM). Analisis dan desain sistem dilakukan mengikuti metode System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) meliputi analisa kebutuhan sistem, use case diagram, dan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) dengan menggunakan software Sybase-PowerDesigner version 16.5. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis sistem berhasil dikembangkan dengan menggambarkan aliran proses secara detail dari seluruh rangkaian sistem yang dikaji. Desain sistem melalui metode Relief mampu menghasilkan perangkingan atribut utama dalam pengukuran kinerja SDM, yaitu sistem kerja performansi tinggi (high performance work system/HPWS) dan keselarasan sistem SDM (human resource system alignment/HRSA). Proses penanganan data lanjutan dengan ARM diperoleh aturan asosiasi dengan tiga peringkat tertinggi yang dapat mewakili keseluruhan sistem pengukuran kinerja SDM. Abstract

Achievement of the efficiency of the supply chain of organic vegetables PT. X needs to consider output in the form of added value and profit margins obtained from the input of delivery, fulfillment of requests, and risks faced by each actor.  The purpose of this study was the management of supply chains of organic vegetables from farmers, entrepreneurs, retailers, and consumers in Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java. Based on the results of the analysis of value added by Hayami's method, it was known that retailers' profit margins tend to be bigger, but the contribution of value added is lower than that of farmers and companies.  The results of risk measurement showed that the biggest risk index was in farmers due to the large risk of supply shortages.  Measurement of efficiency using DEA showed that retailer actors were more efficient but tend to avoid risk.  Achieving high efficiency at retailers indicated the ability to balance risk and revenue so that the delivery of organic vegetables in the supply chain was more efficient.  Through a risk management mechanism with risk balancing and cost incentives because of the risk showed an increase in supply chain efficiency. This efficiency can be seen from the increase in the number of retailers 'demand and a decrease in supply / shipping inefficiency of farmers and companies in meeting retailers' demands.

Abstract

A surfactant that can be developed from palm oil is non-ionic. Diethanolamine is a nonionic surfactant based on palm oil methyl ester, which can replace the use of polyoxyethylene amine surfactant in a commercial herbicide formula that harms the environment. This research aimed to determine the physicochemical properties of diethanolamine surfactant and to study the effect of diethanolamine surfactant addition in herbicide formulation with active ingredients of isopropylamine glyphosate. This study was arranged in a complete randomized design with surfactant concentrations as treatment, consisting of 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, and 9% (w/w). The results showed that there was a significant effect of diethanolamine surfactant addition on the characteristics of the herbicide formulation. The concentration of 5% diethanolamine surfactant had the best character in producing herbicide with the lowest surface tension and a contact angle of 30.73 dyne/cm and 11.48°. The commercial herbicide, having a surface tension of 36.27 dyne/cm and a larger contact angle of 83.03°, was used as the comparison for the formulations. The stability of the solution was up to 100% for 5 weeks at room temperature with solubility in water of 80.60% and droplet size of 7.20 ?m.

Abstract

Foaming agent contains surfactant that facilitates formation of foam to reduce the surface tension of liquid so that it can easily form bubbles. This time, foaming agent is used to produce lightweight concrete. Surfactant can be produced from fatty acid of palm oil named potassium palmitate and natrium laurate. The aim of this study to formulate a foaming agentfor production of lightweight concrete that could form foam that has best performances. Foaming agent for lightweight concrete was made mixturing from surfactant of potassium palmite and sodium laurate, sodium silicate and water. Design of experiment used was Completely Randomized Factorial Design with α = 5% and Duncan post hoc test with α = 5%. Analysis of variance showed consentration of surfactant and consentration of natrium silicate has significant effect in foam stability, foaming ability, foam size and surface tension.The best formulation of foaming agent was foaming agent made from 15% of surfactant, 5% of natrium silicate and 80% of water. Its performances was foam stability of 92.72%, foaming ability of 173.33%, foam size of 249.54 µm and surface tension of 27.78 dyne/cm. Abstract

Inventory control modelling is utilized to optimize warehousing cost and the availability of product and raw material while keeping customer satisfaction level. A formulation of fuzzy time series based on raw material planning for fixed-time period safety stock model was proposed to enhance forecasting accuracy in limited data availability. Safety stock levels were computed in monthly fashion to optimizing the most appropriate capacity in each regional warehouse. Forecasting accuracy was based on MAPE indicator. By deploying forecasted data, the calculation of product quantity and capacity level were set to correspond with the target of product box quantity to produce. The result showed that the forecasting of six products in four regions showed the range of MAPE values with minimum at 0.29% and maximum at 1.94% level. The implementation of formula on a real field application had increased the data flow transaction and mobility amount among stakeholders. Abstract

Decision support system in development and Down-streaming of coconut-based agroindustry constitutes a meaningful approach for stakeholders in decision making process, in which it is semi-structural process in coconut agroindustry. This current work aimed to identify and analyze a method and approach in development of coconut agroindustry and its downstream, as well as to collaborate and criticize both stages. This work has reviewed 146 scientific articles from 5 main publication databases worldwide published between 2000 – 2018. The identification and classification techniques of this work included multicriteria decision making, financial feasibility study, qualitative and quantitative study, while the methods were generally grouped into decision support system, multicriteria decision making, multi objective decision making, smart system. Currently, methods in decision making system in the area of coconut agroindustry in both downstream and development stage mostly discussed in traditional perspective, without considering spatial intelligent decision support system which enables us to create decision faster. This work successfully built research framework as feed for further model development using smart decision making system covering development and downstream coconut agroindustry with integration of potential area mapping model, product development, and institutional aspect.

Abstract

As a beef distributor company, the challenge of being able to balance demand and supply is very important, given the consumption and distribution patterns that are unstable and are influenced by the nature of meat that is perishable and requires special handling. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bullwhip effect that occurs in the beef industry, the level of inventory and forecasting beef. This research will calculate the level of bullwhip effect of the reverse supply chain beef with one distributor and three types of retailers and customers. The analysis is carried out on the demand pattern and shipping intensity of the customer distributors and analyses the effect of the reverse supply chain on the bullwhip effect. After the inventory formulation is obtained, the effect of the reverse supply chain on the beef bullwhip effect, then the best formulation for inventory forecasting using ARIMA is sought. In this research, a new formulation of inventory patterns is influenced by product returns and reverse supply chains. From the results of calculations using a new inventory formulation by including a reduction to replace the returned product, it appears that this condition affects the bullwhip effect where the company will consider the product as a sale when in fact it is a replacement. By this paper, we release a new reverse supply chain model in the beef industry to get value-added.

Abstract

Palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD) merupakan produk samping bernilai rendah yang dihasilkan dari proses deodorisasi pada tahapan refinery crude palm oil (CPO) menjadi minyak goreng sawit. Kandungan PFAD yaitu asam lemak bebas (ALB) sebagai komponen utama (>80 %) dan komponen minor berupa karoten (pro-vitamin A), tokoferol dan tokotrienol (vitamin E), sterol, fosfolipid, glikoloid, serta hidrokarbon terpenik dan alifatik. Potensi PFAD dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku berbagai produk dalam upaya peningkatan nilai tambah industri minyak sawit, seperti sebagai bahan baku dalam sintesis mono-digliserida (MDAG). Produk MDAG merupakan emulsifier yang telah banyak digunakan sebagai pengemulsi dalam industri pangan dan bukan pangan. Emulsifier berfungsi menyatukan dua fase cairan yang berbeda kepolaran sehingga membentuk suatu sistem emulsi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh karena bahan tersebut memiliki sifat hidrofilik dan hidrofobik di dalam senyawanya. Sintesis MDAG dari PFAD dapat dilakukan melalui esterifikasi enzimatis dan kimiawi dengan bantuan katalis. Sintesis MDAG dari PFAD merupakan reaksi yang bersifat reversible, sehingga konversi reaktan menjadi produk dalam jumlah tinggi sulit untuk diperoleh. Spesifikasi kemurnian MDAG tentang aditif makanan standar Uni Eropa (UE) tahun 2012. Adapun tantangan dalam produksi MDAG dari PFAD adalah rendemen dan spesifikasi produk MDAG yang dihasilkan relatif rendah, sehingga diperlukan berbagai upaya dalam peningkatan rendemen dan spesifikasi produk MDAG hasil sintesis. Makalah ini mereview tentang proses pengolahan dan karakterisik PFAD serta aplikasinya dalam sintesis MDAG dan berbagai upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan rendemen dan spesifikasi serta aplikasi MDAG pada berbagai produk untuk dapat diteliti lebih lanjut. Sintesis MDAG secara kimiawi  dilanjutkan dengan pemurnian produk hasil esterifikasi menggunakan metode distilasi molekuler berpeluang untuk dilakukan sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan rendemen dan spesifikasi produk MDAG sesuai standar.ABSTRACT Palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD) is a low-value by-product produced from the deodorization process at the refinery crude palm oil (CPO) stage to become palm cooking oil. PFAD contains free fatty acids (ALB) as the primary (> 80%) and minor components in the form of carotene (pro-vitamin A), tocopherols, and tocotrienols (vitamin E), sterols, phospholipids, glycoloid, as well as terpenic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. PFAD can  to be used as a raw material for various products to increase the added value of the palm oil industry, such as a raw material in the synthesis of mono-diacylglyceride (MDAG). MDAG is an emulsifier that has been widely used as an emulsifier in the food and non-food industries. An emulsifier is a material that can unite two liquid phases with different polarities to form an emulsion system. This is because the material has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties as well as in its compounds. The synthesis of MDAG from PFAD can be carried out through enzymatic and chemical esterification with the help of a catalyst. The synthesis of MDAG from PFAD is a reversible reaction, so the conversion of reactants into products in high amounts is difficult to obtain. MDAG product purity specifications are following on European Union (EU) standard food additives in 2012. The challenge in MDAG production from PFAD is that the output and specifications of MDAG products are still relatively low so that various efforts are needed to increase the yield and specifications of synthesized MDAG products. This paper reviews the processing and characteristics of PFAD and its application in the synthesis of MDAG and the various efforts that can be made to improve the yield and specifications and the application of MDAG to multiple products for further research. Chemical synthesis of MDAG with a continuous process followed by purification of esterified products using the molecular distillation method has the opportunity to be done as an effort to increase the yield and specifications of MDAG products according to standards.
