Abstract

The diversity of plants that exist on the banks of the Rindu Hati River is overgrown with plants, one of which is a tree-loving plant that has an important role in the river ecosystem and has the potential to mitigate disasters. This study aims to identify Disaster Mitigation Oriented Tree-Habitus Plants on the Rindu Hati Riverbanks which can be used as teaching materials in the form of Learning Unit Books (BUP) to increase understanding of natural science concepts and disaster awareness. Determining the research location using purposive sampling technique and inventory of tree plants using the quadratic method with an area measuring 20 mx 20 m at the tree level, 10 mx 10 m at the pole level, and 5 mx 5 m at the sapling level. Found 18 plant species from 13 families with a total of 137 individuals. These plants have disaster mitigation potential with a diversity index at the tree level reaching 2.674 in the medium category, the pole level reaching 2.432 in the medium category and the sapling level reaching 1.791 in the medium category. Based on these findings, a BUP can be made which can facilitate students in learning about information on tree-loving plants as disaster mitigation.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis POE2WE pada materi Bioteknologi bagipeserta didik tingkat SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Reseach and Developmnet dengan model 4D (Define, Design,Develop, Disseminate) dan hanya dibatasi pada 3D atau hanya pada tahap Develop saja. Teknik pengumpulan datapenilitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data LKPD ini dianalisis secara deskriptif. Ujivalidasi LKPD meliputi aspek materi, penyajian tampilan, dan bahasa yang dilakukan oleh dua validator dan duapraktisi. Hasil uji validasi LKPD yang dilakukan terhadap validator ahli dan praktisi memperoleh persentase rata-rata92,5%. Dan dari hasil respon yang telah dilakukan terhadap 10 peserta didik SMP Negeri 21 Bengkulu Utaramendapat rerata persentase skor sebesar 93.75%. Dapat disimpulkan bahan LKPD berbasis POE2WE (Prediction,Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write, Evaluation) pada materi Bioteknologi ini sangat layak untuk digunakansebagai bahan belajar siswa.Kata kunci : LKPD, POE2WE, bioteknologiABSTRACTThis research aims to develop POE2WE-based LKPD on Biotechnology material for junior high school students. Thistype of research is Research and Developmnet with 4D models (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and is onlylimited to 3D or only at the Develop stage. The data collection techniques of this research are observation, interviewsand questionnaires. The data analysisis technuque of this LKPD was analyzed descriptively. The LKPD validation testincludes aspects of material, presentation, display, and language carried out by two validators and two practitioners.The results of the LKPD validation test conducted on expert validators and practitioners obtained an averagepercentage of 92.5%. And from the response thathas been carried out to 10 students of SMP Negeri 21 Bengkulu Utaragot an average percentage score of 93.75%. It can be concluded that the POE2WE-based LKPD material (Prediction,Observation, Explanation, Elaboration, Write, Evaluation) in the Biotechnology is very feasible to be used as studentlearning material.Keywords : LKPD, POE2WE, Biotechnology
