Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to accompany the lyrics of the song Ya'e Zumange, including keyboard playing style, meter patterns and rhyme patterns and to find out the musical structure used in the song Ya'e Zumange. The song Ya'e Zumange has the theme Zumange (offerings) and this song is a praise song sung when collecting offerings at worship at BNKP Tarutung city. This research uses a qualitative research method using instruments, interview research, documentation, literature study and observation. The author chose the song Ya'e Zumange which has the basic tone D=DO Bar 4/4 with a tempo of M, M 62-68 (Andante) which consists of 8 bars, there are two phrases. The motifs are a, b, c. by using types of language styles, namely mesodiplosis, anaphora and apophasi and the tempo in completing one verse of the song Ya'e Zumange and has low ambitus, the highest pitch and the song structure is monophonic.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui, mendeskripsikan serta meningkatkan kualitas bernyanyi pada Paduan Suara Remaja Naposo Gereja Kristen Luther Indonesia (GKLI) Resort Sitamba Pealangge, Siborongborong. Teknik Vocalizing merupakan teknik pemanasan vokal yang dilakukan sebelum bernyanyi, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas suara dan kenyamanan penyanyi. Teknik vocalizing merujuk pada serangkaian latihan vokal yang dilakukan sebelum bernyanyi untuk mempersiapkan suara dan meningkatkan kualitas bernyanyi.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan bagaimana teknik vocalizing diterapkan dan dampaknya terhadap kemampuan bernyanyi anggota paduan suara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan informasi melalui penelitian dilapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta rekaman latihan dan penampilan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang di peroleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan teknik vocalizing, Remaja di GKLI Resort Sitamba Pealangge, Siborongborong dapat meningkatkan kemampuan bernyanyi dalam menyanyikan lagu-lagu pujian. Melalui latihan vocalizing, remaja dapat belajar tentang pernapasan diafragma, intonasi, artikulasi, resonansi dan teknik-teknik vokal yang baik dalam bernyanyi yang penting untuk menghasilkan suara yang indah saat bernyanyi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teaching strategy of Christian Religious Education (PAK) in supporting the spiritual growth of grade XI students at Private High School HKBP 1 Tarutung for the 2025 Academic Year. The background of this research is based on the importance of spiritual growth as an integral part of the formation of students' faith, character, and spiritual maturity in the midst of the challenges of the modern and digital era. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type in an interpretive paradigm. Data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that the PAK teaching strategy applied was contextual, relational, and participatory, by utilizing discussion methods, reflection on God's Word, joint prayer, assignment of applicable assignments, and teacher examples as a Christian life model. These strategies contribute to shaping the understanding of faith, changing attitudes, and habituating students' spiritual practices. However, there are challenges in its implementation, such as low consistency of students in spiritual disciplines, the influence of social and digital environments, and dependence on teachers in the process of fostering faith. This study concludes that an effective PAK teaching strategy is a holistic, integrative, and centered strategy on the formation of Christian character, which not only emphasizes cognitive aspects, but also spiritual experiences and life examples, so as to be able to encourage students' spiritual growth in a sustainable manner.
