Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by Quizizz media on the science learning outcomes of 4th grade elementary school students.  The research method used was Quantitative Experiment with the Post-test Only Control Group Design. The population in this study was all fourth-grade students at SDN Cijantung 01 Jakarta, totalling 60 students.  The sample used in this study used a saturated sample technique, namely a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples.  The control class is 30 students and the experimental class is 30 students.  The data analysis technique uses SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 22, namely by testing validity, reliability testing, normality testing, homogeneity testing using independent sample t tests.  The average value obtained by the control class was 61.83 while the average value obtained by the experimental class was 80.83 based on the explanation above that there is an influence of the influence of the Application of the Quizizz Media Assisted Problem Based Learning Model on Science Learning Outcomes of Class 4 Elementary School Students. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning model combined with Uno Multiplication Cards on the multiplication concept understanding of third-grade students at SDN Susukan 03 Pagi. The problem addressed is the low mathematics learning outcomes of students, specifically in multiplication, and the minimal use of innovative and interactive teaching methods. The research used a quantitative approach with a Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group design, involving 63 students who were divided into an experimental group (TPS + Uno Cards) and a control group (conventional learning). The t-test results revealed a significant difference between the two groups (p-value 0.000), with the experimental group's posttest average score increase being higher than the control group's. The N-Gain analysis indicates moderate effectiveness (0.4678) for the experimental class and low effectiveness (0.1535) for the control class. This finding proves that combining the TPS model with Uno Multiplication Cards is effective in improving students' understanding of multiplication concepts and actively and enjoyably engaging them. This research recommends implementing this method in mathematics learning to strengthen students' learning outcomes as well as their social skills.

Abstract

Interest in reading is essential for developing students' literacy, creativity, and knowledge. Despite efforts to promote reading in Indonesia, interest remains low. Teachers' strategies play a crucial role in fostering reading interest. This study explores strategies used by teachers to boost reading interest among grade 3 students at SDN Penjaringan 06 Pagi through literacy activities. It aims to describe these strategies, identify influencing factors, and evaluate their effectiveness. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, research was conducted from January 2023 to May 2024. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through continuous observation, source triangulation, and method triangulation. Three teacher strategies were identified: (1) Direct Learning teachers guide students in listening and responding to reading; (2) Indirect Learning teachers act as facilitators and create a supportive environment; (3) Independent Learning students complete reading-related tasks at home or during school literacy time. Supporting factors include sufficient facilities and teacher preparation. Inhibiting factors involve intellectual, psychological, and environmental challenges, as well as students’ general disinterest in reading.
