Abstract

Fracture is any crack or break caused by trauma and physical activity. A direct blow to the kneecap area can result in a patella fracture. Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) surgery is an option for treating fractures using the surgical method, requiring wound care to speed up healing and prevent infection. Mixing gentamicin sulfate and 0.9% NaCl solution in treating wounds can speed up the wound healing process by helping the formation of new granulation tissue. The purpose of this study was to describe wound care using 0.9% NaCl and gentamicin sulfate in post debridement fracture patients + left patella orif. This research is included in descriptive research and a case study research design is used in scientific writing. Interviews and wound assessment observations were used for data collection. Patients with patellar orif fractures and post-debridement fractures were eligible to participate as long as they met the inclusion criteria. Patients with infected post orif patella fractures and children under 18 years of age were excluded. Based on the results of wound care for 5 meetings, the patient's wound appeared to be improving with slight changes in the red and pink wounds. It can be concluded that wound care in post debridement fracture patients + left patella orif experienced wound healing.

Abstract

Diabetes has become a deadly disease considering the many risks of complications that can attack the body such as the eyes, kidneys, nerves, to the heart and the possibility of amputation. In Central Java, the prevalence of people with diabetes mellitus is around 2.1% or 67,977 people suffer from diabetes mellitus. Type 2 DM is a disease characterized by hyperglycemia with complaints of polyphagia, polydipsia, polyuria. To keep blood glucose levels stable, patients with type 2 DM are advised to have a proper diet with 3J (jumlah, jam, jenis makanan). To determine the effect of diet on blood glucose during type 2 DM patients. The writing of this KTI uses the case study method with respondents who have type 2 DM in the Susukan Health Center area. The results of the case study found that diet can have an effect on decreasing blood glucose levels during. There is a temporary decrease in blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 DM after undergoing a diet 3J for 7 days with a blood glucose level of 85 mg/dl.

Abstract

Diabetes melitus tipe II merupakan penyakit metabolik kronis yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar glukosa darah akibat resistensi insulin atau penurunan sekresi insulin. Penyakit ini menjadi masalah kesehatan global dengan jumlah penderita yang terus meningkat, termasuk di Indonesia, Jawa Tengah, dan Kabupaten Purbalingga. Tingginya angka kejadian menunjukkan perlunya penanganan tidak hanya secara farmakologis, tetapi juga melalui alternatif nonfarmakologis yang aman dan mudah diterapkan. Salah satu bahan alami yang berpotensi menurunkan kadar gula darah adalah jambu biji merah (Psidium guajava) yang mengandung flavonoid, vitamin C, serat pektin, dan antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui gambaran pemberian jus jambu biji merah terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu (GDS) pada Ny. K penderita diabetes melitus tipe II di Desa Galuh, Kecamatan Bojongsari. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui proses keperawatan. Intervensi berupa pemberian jus jambu biji merah sebanyak 300 ml setiap malam selama 12 hari. Pengukuran kadar glukosa darah dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan glukometer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu. Pada hari pertama terjadi penurunan dari 184 mg/dL menjadi 165 mg/dL, dan hari kedua dari 251 mg/dL menjadi 168 mg/dL. Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata penurunan kadar glukosa darah selama 12 hari sebesar 14,5 mg/dL. Kesimpulannya, pemberian jus jambu biji merah dapat membantu menurunkan kadar glukosa darah sewaktu dan berpotensi sebagai intervensi nonfarmakologis pendukung pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe II.
