Abstract

The process of psychological assessment is a method used to evaluate the cognitive, emotional, and behavior-related aspects of children who have special needs. Within the framework of SD (primary schools) in Mojokerto regency, an assessment was carried out to determine the form of special needs and the condition of children's development aspects with indications of learning obstacles after the pandemic era. The assessments carried out include observation, interviews and standardized tests, and input from several professionals, including teachers, psychologists and special education specialists. The results showed a process of learning decline due to the lack of stimulation and interaction with indications of slow learner students and attention hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). As a follow-up to a series of community service activities, school staff received socialization and individual learning planning.

Abstract

Abstrak Komorbid hipertensi berisiko menyebabkan keparahan atau kematian pada penderita COVID-19. Optimisme memiliki peran penting sebagai penguat psikologis untuk mendukung kesembuhan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti peran optimisme serta faktor-faktor optimisme dalam mendukung kesembuhan pada penyintas COVID-19 dengan komorbid hipertensi. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan dalam pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur. Adapun tiga subjek dalam penelitian merupakan penyintas COVID-19 dengan komorbid hipertensi yang pernah dirawat di rumah sakit karena COVID-19 dengan usia 50 tahun keatas dan memiliki kondisi hipertensi tingkat 1 atau diatasnya. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik dan diuji keabsahan datanya menggunakan model triangulasi sumber data dokumen dan significant others. Penelitian mengungkap tiga tema utama yaitu pengalaman sebagai penyintas COVID-19 dengan komorbid hipertensi, peran optimisme dalam penyembuhan, dan faktor yang mempengaruhi optimisme. Pengalaman subjek meliputi konfirmasi positif, gejala yang dialami, respon diri dan lingkungan serta perubahan pasca COVID-19. Peran optimisme dalam penyembuhan menunjukkan dimensi ketetapan dan keluasan konsisten dengan subjek serta adanya dimensi optimisme personalisasi. Dukungan sosial dan religusitas/spiritualitas menjadi faktor yang konstan mempengaruhi optimisme subjek pada penelitian ini. Kata Kunci: optimisme, penyintas COVID-19, hipertensi. Abstract Comorbid hypertension is at risk of causing severity or death in patients with COVID-19. Optimism has an important role as a psychological reinforcement to support healing. This study aims to examine the role of optimism and factors of optimism in supporting recovery in COVID-19 survivors with comorbid hypertension. A qualitative approach with the case study method was used in collecting data through semi-structured interviews. The three subjects in the study were COVID-19 survivors with comorbid hypertension who had been hospitalized due to COVID-19 and were aged 50 years and over also had a hypertensive condition of level 1 or above. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques and tested the validity of the data using a triangulation model of document data sources and significant others. This study revealed three main themes, namely experiences as survivors of COVID-19 with comorbid hypertension, the role of optimism in healing, and the factors that influence optimism. Subject experiences include positive confirmation, symptoms experienced, self and environmental responses, and post-COVID-19 changes. The role of optimism in healing shows the dimensions of determination and breadth consistent with the subject as well as the dimensions of personalization optimism. Social support and religiosity/spirituality are constant factors influencing the subject's optimism in this study. Keywords: optimism, COVID-19 survivor, hypertension.
