Abstract

The role of computerized information systems in education, especially for academic data processing is needed in order to provide convenience for the user, processing the data using a computer will be faster and easier and it can be stored in a long time. SD Inpres Oebobo 1 is one of the primary schools in Kupang city. Currently, school is still using manual systems which means entire academic data is written on the books, so many mistakes and takes a long time to obtain information. Leave of about problem that therefore writer builds a system be computerized that can made process of academic data as students data, teachers data, class data, subjects data, the school year data, religious students and teachers data, parents jobs data, detailed data subjects, homeroom data, instructor data, headmaster data, student value data, dislocated student value data, student cards reports and will produce a system output as student data reports, teacher data reports, class data reports, detailed subjects data reports, attendance student data reports, homeroom data reports, instructor data reports, headmaster data reports, student value data reports, dislocated student value data reports, student cards reports, class increase graphs and students graduation graphs. ABSTRAKPeran sistem informasi yang terkomputerisasi dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya untuk mengolah data-data akademik sangat dibutuhkan sehingga dapat memberikan kemudahan-kemudahan bagi pengguna, pengolahan data dengan menggunakan komputer akan lebih cepat dan mudah serta dapat disimpan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. SD Inpres Oebobo 1 merupakan salah satu sekolah dasar yang berada di kota Kupang. Saat ini, sekolah tersebut masih menggunakan sistem yang masih manual yakni mencatat seluruh data akademik pada buku, sehingga banyak sekali terjadi kesalahan dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk memperoleh informasi. Bertolak dari permasalahan tersebut maka penulis membangun suatu sistem terkomputerisasi yang dapat mengolah data akademik seperti data siswa, data guru, data kelas, data mata pelajaran, data tahun ajaran, data agama siswa dan guru, data pekerjaan orang tua siswa, data detail mata pelajaran, data wali kelas, data pengajar, data kepala sekolah, data nilai siswa, data nilai siswa pindahan dan data rapor siswa serta akan menghasilkan keluaran sistem berupa laporan data siswa, laporan data guru, laporan data kelas, laporan data detail mata pelajaran, laporan daftar hadir siswa, laporan data wali kelas, laporan data pengajar, laporan data kepala sekolah, laporan data nilai siswa, laporan data nilai siswa pindahan dan laporan data rapor siswa serta grafik kenaikkan kelas dan grafik kelulusan siswa.

Abstract

Heritage is something that is inherited, such as property, reputation, etcetera. In the daily lives, legacy issues often trigger conflicts and raises a family relationship. The main cause is human greed, and beyond this the lack of knowledge of the relevant parties regarding the calculation of inheritance law. Many Muslims do not know the law and how the calculation is based on the Islamic law of inheritance. To overcome these problems then built an application to assist in the calculation of the legacy based on Islamic Law following that Islamic Law rules. This application produces the percentage and nomina which received by each heirs.

Abstract

Command signs are one of the types of traffic signs that we often encounter when driving on the road and are used to express some commands while driving. A distinctive feature of command signs is that they have a blue background color. Driver negligence in paying attention to the presence of command signs on the road can result in accidents. There needs to be a system that can detect command signs on the road as a solution. The command sign detection process uses the Euclidean Color Filtering method to filter colors and BLOB to look for interconnected pixels. The RGB color center values ​​(10,110,200) and the radius range [90, 150] are used in the color filter stage with Euclidean Color Filtering. The system was tested on 150 images of primary data and 25 images of secondary data. Primary data collection was carried out in the morning, afternoon, and evening with a distance of 5–10 meters and 10–15 meters. The system's average accuracy of command sign detection in testing primary data is 90.67%, and secondary data is 76%, so the average accuracy of the whole system is 88.5%. System failure in detecting the presence of command signs on the road is due to insufficient or excessive lighting conditions, signs blocked by other objects, angles that are too tilted, and signs adjoining other things with the same color or close to the background color.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) made the corona virus a pandemic in 2020. This virus has hit the whole world, including Indonesia. East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) as of June 2021 recorded 18,741 positive cases of Covid-19 and the City of Kupang was the area that contributed the most positive cases. The daily increase in Covid-19 cases in Kupang City shows a fairly high increase. The purpose of this study is to build a classification system to determine the status of the Covid-19 zone in the city of Kupang. The system design using the waterfall model is used to design and build the system while the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm is used for classification. The criteria as input in the system for the classification process are positive confirmed data, recovered patient data and death data. The results of the classification process consist of 2 classes, namely the Green Zone and Red Zone. Kupang City's daily Covid-19 case data for January-June 2021 with a total of 181 as training data. 31 test data entered into the system were analysed using the Naïve Bayes Classifier method and succeeded in obtaining classification results as system output. Tests in the study were carried out on systems built using Blackbox testing to test the functionality of the system with the expected results. The confusion matrix is ​​used to test the performance of the classification method and the results have an accuracy rate of 77.91% and a precision value of 73.91%.

Abstract

Traveling salesman problem (TSP) is one of the optimization problems to find the shortest route, where each city is only allowed to visit exactly once. The search for the shortest route can be completed by several algorithms, one of which is the genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithm is an optimization algorithm that works by imitating the evolutionary process in nature. During the evolution process, individuals with the best fitness may undergo changes that result in a decrease in fitness. Therefore, in order to keep individuals with the best fitness from becoming extinct during the evolutionary process, it is necessary to make copies of these individuals which is called elitism. There are three models of elitism, namely, Model 1: the best individuals are copied as many as m replacing the worst m individuals, Model 2: the best m individuals replace the worst m individuals, and Model 3: the best m individuals replace the worst m individuals selected randomly from 100%-m worst individual. The values ​​of the m parameters are 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%. The tests were carried out with elitism and without elitism on different populations and cities. The test results show that Model 2 with m = 10% and population = 20 is the ideal parameter in solving TSP.

Abstract

Road is a means of access for humans to move from one place to another, connecting one place to another, and serving as transportation infrastructure. At all times, asphalt roads are passed by road users, including small, medium, and large vehicles. However, road conditions are not always smooth and often there are damages in certain parts of the road. Factors such as water, weather, temperature changes, unstable soil conditions, air temperature, poor compaction process on the base layer, and the weight or overload of heavy vehicles that exceed capacity, as well as the increasing volume of vehicles, can cause road damage. Road damage can reduce economic revenue and increase accident rates. Some types of asphalt road damage include undulating, potholes, cracking, and asphalt puddles on the road surface. Potholes are the most common type of damage that cause accidents for road users. This study uses the Canny edge detection method to detect asphalt road damage. The minimum object size that can be detected as road damage is 15x15 pixels and the maximum is 290x540 pixels. Testing was conducted on 65 primary data and 35 secondary data, and the average accuracy obtained were 90.5% and 88%, respectively.

Abstract

The improvement of education quality is determined not only by student's attendance but also lecturer's attendance in class. In this paper, control system of lecturer's attendance has been developed. This system requires two types of users, which are administrator and lecturer. The administrator is responsible for data analysis and report. The lecturer confirms his/her attendance using smartphone by utilising IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) and GPS (Global Positioning System). The security of the data flow in this attendance system is built using the stream cipher algorithm with three key randomization methods: odd parity Hamming code, tent map and session keys. Research finds that this contol system of lecturer's attendance is secure because of the following reasons. First, it has been built using three-tier architecture. Second, there is a security check from software system. And lastly data flow is encrypted with low correlation between plaintext and ciphertext. Furthermore, the sytem is reliable because when internet and/or GPS is lost, data between client and server is kept and is delivered once there is internet and/or GPS connection. Report of lecturer's attendance from this system is reliable and hence it is recommended to be used for lecturers' attendance report.

Abstract

Pelayanan gereja merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam mendukung pertumbuhan spiritual dan pengelolaan jemaat. Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT) Luz Fatukoa menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan data jemaat, administrasi, dan penyampaian informasi yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Hal ini menyebabkan proses pelayanan menjadi lambat, kurang efisien, dan rentan terhadap kesalahan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu mengintegrasikan berbagai fungsi utama gereja, seperti manajemen data jemaat, pengelolaan keuangan, jadwal kegiatan, dan penyebaran berita. Sistem ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, serta akurasi pelayanan gereja. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, hingga pengujian guna memastikan keandalan sistem. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan kemudahan akses informasi dan transparansi dalam pelayanan gereja. Tingkat kepuasan pengguna mencapai skor rata-rata 93%, mencakup aspek kemudahan penggunaan, kemampuan kustomisasi, kecepatan akses, dan kualitas informasi yang disediakan. Sistem ini terbukti efektif mendukung GMIT Luz Fatukoa dalam menjalankan pelayanannya secara lebih modern dan efisien.

Abstract

Arbila (Phaseolus lunatus L.) is a type of food legume belonging to the Fabaceae (Leguminosae) family. Arbila can be categorized into two groups: those that are safe for human and animal consumption, and those that are not consumable due to their hazardous cyanide acid concentrations. Variants of Arbila seeds exhibit similarities in color and texture, which can lead to misidentification during manual sorting by the community. Therefore, there is a need for the development of a system that can assist the public in identifying different types of Arbila seeds. This study utilizes three color features based on the HSV (Hue, Saturation, and Value) model and four texture characteristics based on the GLCM (Gray Level Co-Occurrence Matrix) model as input parameters for classifying Arbila seed types. The applied method is k-NN (k-Nearest Neighbor). A total of 600 image data points were collected from 10 different types of Arbila seeds. Experiments were conducted with various k values in the k-NN method, specifically k values of 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, while also applying the K-Fold Cross-Validation method with 10 folds to assess the system's performance. The results indicate that the maximum average accuracy achieved is 89.33% at k = 1, while the lowest average accuracy recorded is 79.33% at k = 9.

Abstract

The Community Service (PkM) activity titled “Utilization and Management of Web Profile Information System at SDK Santo Yosep 1 Kota Kupang” involved the partnership with SDK Santo Yosep 1 Kota Kupang. The purpose of this community partnership program was to enhance information technology skills and knowledge for educators and educational staff at SDK Santo Yosep 1 located in Kota Raja sub-district. The methods used in this activity included training on managing the system that had already been developed, specifically on data entry, which would later be published as school information for the general public. Additionally, a questionnaire method was employed to assess the system's effectiveness. The results of the training showed that all 16 participants, including teachers and staff, were able to effectively understand how to operate the system and enter data accurately. Furthermore, the system functioned well (valid) according to the partner’s needs, allowing the school's web profile information system to be published for the public, providing essential information about the school to the broader community.
