The research method used is a mixed-method approach with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and surveys of visitors and culinary business actors around the Kalimas River. The results of the study indicate that the existence of culinary centers around the Kalimas River in Surabaya has a positive impact, such as increasing income for local business actors, creating jobs, and strengthening local cultural identity through the presentation of typical foods. However, this study also found challenges in waste management and maintaining environmental quality that must be overcome to support the sustainability of tourist destinations.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of work-life balance and productivity on the performance of Generation Z employees at PT Rumah Atsiri Indonesia, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through PLS-SEM. Results show that work-life balance significantly affects job satisfaction (t = 4.786; p = 0.000) but not performance directly (t = 0.833; p = 0.406). Productivity also significantly influences job satisfaction (t = 3.884; p = 0.000), but not performance directly (t = 1.441; p = 0.150). Job satisfaction significantly impacts performance (t = 8.886; p = 0.000) and mediates the relationship between both work-life balance and productivity with performance. These findings highlight the crucial role of job satisfaction in enhancing employee performance.

Abstract

The development of urban river tourism is a strategic approach to addressing environmental degradation and the loss of a city's historical identity. The Kalimas River in Surabaya has significant historical value, serving as a major transportation and trade route from pre-colonial to colonial times. This study aims to analyze the Kalimas River as a sustainable, history-based tourism destination by reviewing environmental, socio-cultural, and economic aspects. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, supported by a survey of 100 tourist respondents. Data collection techniques included field observations, in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results showed that 82% of respondents considered the Kalimas River to have a positive contribution to river environmental conservation, 79% considered it to have strong historical educational value, and 76% stated that the river's presence had a positive impact on the local economy through MSMEs and culinary centers. These findings confirm that the Kalimas River has the potential to become a model for sustainable, history-based urban river tourism in Indonesia. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing river tourism policies in major cities.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the impact of perceived ease of use and perceived security on the decision to use QRIS, with perceived trust as a mediating variable. The sample was taken using a purposive approach with the size determined using the hair formula. This study was conducted in Tawangmangu District using a quantitative approach and survey method. The questionnaire was distributed to 145 Gen Z participants who have experience using QRIS. This research is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as its theoretical framework. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the aid of SmartPLS version 4 software to test the relationships between the variables in the model being studied. The research findings indicate that the perception of ease does not have a significant impact on the decision to use. Furthermore, the perception of security also does not have a significant impact on the decision to use. However, the perception of trust plays an important role, significantly influencing the decision to use. Moreover, ease of use significantly affects the decision through trust, while security also influences the decision to use through trust.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of real-time interactivity in Shopee live streaming on impulse buying behavior among Generation Z in Karanganyar Regency, with perceived enjoyment and the feeling of being left out of the moment or Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) as mediating variables. Grounded in the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) theory, real-time interactivity in live streaming functions as the stimulus, perceived enjoyment and FoMO represent internal psychological responses (organism), and impulse buying serves as the behavioral response. A survey-oriented quantitative method was employed to collect data from respondents through structured questionnaires. distributed to Generation Z consumers actively using Shopee Live in Karanganyar Regency. Data were examined through the PLS-SEM approach using SmartPLS 4, showing that real-time interactivity has a significant positive relationship with perceived enjoyment. (β=0.675, p<0.001) and FoMO (β=0.310, p=0.001), while perceived enjoyment (β=0.363, p=0.001) and FoMO (β=0.586, p<0.001) each positively and significantly influence impulse buying. The direct effect of real-time interactivity on impulse buying was not significant (β=−0.145, p=0.070), confirming full mediation through both psychological pathways. The model explains 61% of impulse buying variance (R²=0.610). This study contributes theoretically by extending the S-O-R framework through a parallel mediation model and provides practical implications for e-commerce platforms and SMEs in designing more effective and consumer-oriented live streaming strategies.
