Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to study the character of morphology and genetic diversity of wild buffalo ( Binuang buffalo ), that located in the South Bengkulu, at Bengkulu Province. A number of qualitative and quantitative property of buffalo which been investigated are there are differences of bristle color in two sub-district of research location that there are color variations. The dominant color is found of Binuang buffalo is 60% dark gray, 20% black, and the remaining 15% reddish white.There are average of heterozyosity (H) in the population Binuang buffalo in the south Bengkulu district, particularly on the albumin locus (Alb) and transferrin (Tf), where as in the locus Postranferin(PTF), there homozigositas with the magnitude of the numbers heterozygosity rate = 0,3533 or 35,33%.  ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan karakter morfologi dan keragaman genetik Kerbau Binuang (kerbau liar) yang terdapat di Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan Provinsi Bengkulu. Sejumlah sifat kualitatif dan sifat kuantitatif ternak kerbau yang sudah diteliti didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan warna bulu pada dua kecamatan lokasi penelitian yang dipilih, yaitu ada 3 (tiga) variasi warna. Warna  kulit yang dominan yang ditemukan pada kerbau binuang ini adalah abu-abu gelap 60 %, hitam 20 % dan sisanya putih kemerahan (15%).Terdapat rataan angka hetrozigositas (H) populasi ternak kerbau binuang di  Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan,  khususnya pada lokus Albumin (Alb) dan Transferin (Tf) dengan besarnya angka heterozigositas rata-rata =0,3533 atau 35,33 % , sedangkan pada lokus Postransferin (Ptf) terdapat homozigositas genetik.Kata kunci : Kerbau Binuang, Morfologis, Polimorfisme, Keragaman Genetik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perendaman dalam kosentrasi asap cair yang berbeda terhadap kualitas daging kadar air, kadar protein dan kadar lemak pada daging itik manila (Cairina Moschata). Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juni tahun 2020. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sukamerindu Sumatra 6  Kota Bengkulu kemudian dilanjutkan uji Laboratorium di Universitas Bengkulu. Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar air, kadar lemak dan protein. Metode percobaan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan  yaitu Asap cair dengan konsentrasi 0%, 2,5%, 5,0%, 7,5% dan 10% menggunakan 4 ulangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perendaman asap cair berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap kadar air, kadar kemak dan kadar protein. Simpulan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman daging itik manila dengan menggunakan asap cair pada konsentrasi 7,5% dapat menjaga kadar air, meningkatkan kadar protein, dan menurunkan kadar lemak.Kata kunci: daging itik, asap cair, kadar air, kadar lemak, kadar protein.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding moles to fermented vegetable waste on the cellulose and lignin content by proximate analysis. This research was carried out from August to completion, the manufacture of MOL of vegetable waste was carried out at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu and Proximate Analysis of Cellulose and Lignin Content was carried out at the Laboratory of Dairy Animal Nutrition, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). This study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment A = vegetable waste is fermented with the addition of 3% MOL, B = vegetable waste is fermented with the addition of 6% MOL, C = vegetable waste is fermented with the addition of 9% MOL and D = vegetable waste is fermented with the addition of 12% MOL. The parameters observed were the fiber content of vegetable waste including cellulose and lignin. The results showed that different mole doses had a significant effect on the cellulose and lignin content. With the addition of different MOL doses in the vegetable waste feed, the cellulose content decreased by 20.4 – 17.99 and the lignin content by 6.81 – 3.52. From this research, it can be concluded that giving different doses of MOL to fermented vegetable waste feed can simplify the bonding of cellulose and lignin so that the content of fermented feed in vegetable waste can be utilized. Edward Suharnas MP. Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, University of Muhammadiyah Bengkulu 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding moles to fermented vegetable waste on the cellulose and lignin content by proximate analysis. The parameters observed were the fiber content of vegetable waste including Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) and Hemicellulose. The results showed that giving different mole doses significantly affected the content of Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) and Hemicellulose. With the addition of different doses of MOL in vegetable waste feed, it has the effect of decreasing the content of Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) and Hemicellulose. From this study it can be concluded that giving different doses of MOL to fermented vegetable waste feed can simplify the fiber fraction bond in Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF), Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) and Hemicellulose so that the content of fermented feed in vegetable waste can be utilized. Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pH, keempukan, dan total bakteri daging entok yang direndam dengan asam asetat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dan analisa pH, keempukan dan total bakteri dilakukan di Laboratorium Peternakan Fak. Pertanian Universitas Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 16 unit percobaan. Konsentrasi asam asetat yang diteliti (0%, 2%, 4%, dan 6%), Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa larutan asam asetat dapat mempengaruhi kadar pH, keempukan dan total bakteri pada daging entok. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perendaman daging entok menggunakan asam asetat, level asam asetat sampai 6% akan menurunkan nilai pH , total bakteri dan nilai keempukan daging entok. Kata Kunci : Asam asetat, pH, keempukan, total bakteri, daging entok.

Abstract

Pengaruh Penambahan Sari Buah Nanas (Ananas comosus) Terhadap Kadar Protein, Kadar Lemak, dan Kadar Asam Laktat Pada Yoghurt dengan Starter Komersil. Tujuan dan manfaat Penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Sari Buah Nanas (Annas comosus) Terhadap Kadar Protein, Kadar Lemak, dan Kadar Asam Laktat Pada Yoghurt dengan Starter Komersil. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 06 April sampai dengan 17 April 2023 yang bertempat di Laboratrium Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu dan analisa sampel yoghurt yang dilakukann di Laboratorium Kimia Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan menggunakan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan A= 0% tanpa sari buah nanas, B= 3% sari buah nanas, C= 6% sari buah nanas, D=9% sari buah nanas. Parameter yang diamati adalah Kadar Protein, Kadar Lemak, Dan Asam Laktat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaruh penambahan sari buah nanas (Annas comosus) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap Kadar Protein, Kadar Lemak Dan Sam Lakatat. Pemberian sari buah nanas (Annas comosus) dapat digunakan dadam pembuatan yoghurt sampai level 9%. Kata Kunci : Susu, Yoghurt, Nanas dan Biokult.
