Abstract

This research is qualitative research that looks at Ibrahim's role Hassan in advance area beach west south Aceh on moment he served as Governor of Aceh (1986-1993). Ibrahim Hasan is known as the governor of Aceh who focuses on Aceh's development, both from economic, educational, social, and cultural aspects and other aspects. So, this research can see the role of Ibrahim Hasan in advancing the South West coast of Aceh (1986-1993 ). This research was conducted in libraries in the cities of Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. This research uses historical and bibliographic methods so that can develop concepts in answering research problems. The results of this research show that, when he served as Governor of Aceh, Ibrahim Hasan played an important role in advancing the southwest coast of Aceh by opening public transportation routes that were previously difficult for people to pass, bridges and building facilities. education by increasing the number of vocational schools.

Abstract

Wajah pendidikan Islam di Aceh di permulaan abad ke-20 M masih bercorak tradisionalis dan terkesan kaku. Masyarakat Aceh masih menganggap ilmu pengetahuan umum sebagai hasil produk bangsa Barat dan hukumnya haram. Kondisi ini semakin diperparah dengan sikap represif Pemerintah Kolonial Belanda yang mengawasi secara ketat lembaga pendidikan dayah (tempat masyarakat Aceh melakukan proses pembelajaran). Sebab dikhawatirkan bisa berpotensi melahirkan kader-kader yang akan melakukan pemberontakan. Imbasnya banyak dayah dan kitab-kitab yang dibakar oleh pihak kolonial. Merespon persoalan tersebut sekumpulan ulama reformis yang tergabung dalam organisasi Persatuan Ulama Seluruh Aceh (PUSA) berinisiatif mendirikan sekolah Normal Islam Institut (NII) untuk menjawab dan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan pendidikan Islam di Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan kajian sejarah sosial yang berfokus pada isu pendidikan daerah. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah dengan empat langkah yaitu heuristik/pengumpulan sumber, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan NII memiliki dampak yang signifikan bagi kemajuan pendidikan di Aceh. Lembaga ini telah berani untuk menggabungkan ilmu pengetahuan umum dengan ilmu pengetahuan agama dalam satu kurikulum. Selanjutnya NII sebagai sekolah tinggi juga berhasil mencetak para guru-guru yang visioner dan disebarkan ke seluruh Aceh dengan misi menyebarluaskan prinsip moderisitas dalam pendidikan Islam di Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the strategy of forming takzeem keu guree morals in traditional Islamic boarding school students in Aceh Province, the research uses a sociological-anthropological qualitative approach, the data collection tools are interviews, observation and documentation, data analysis using a comparative analysis approach, considering that there are a large number of research sites, with a comparative approach each reduced data is analyzed for similarities and differences, any data that has been compared will be easy to answer which research objectives as the basis for conclusions. The results of the study show that traditional Aceh pesantren education has succeeded in producing people with good morals who have good, extreme and acute takzeem keu guree values. Not only takzeem him but including the whole guree family, even able to survive for a long time until the end of his life.
