Abstract

This study was conducted at SD Negeri Gunungkoneng, Cihideung District, Tasikmalaya City, in mathematics learning on the topic of fractions using card media. The research subjects were 53 fourth-grade students. The study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the topic of fractions, particularly in the indicator of adding fractions with the same denominator, which achieved an average score of only 52.1. The study aimed to examine the planning, implementation, and improvement of students' learning outcomes through the use of card media in teaching fraction concepts. Data were collected through a pre-test to measure students' initial abilities, observation sheets to assess lesson planning, teacher performance, and student activities during the learning process, and a post-test to measure improvements in learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in students' average scores, increasing from 53.02 before the intervention to 65.09 after the first cycle and 79.06 after the second cycle. In addition to improving learning outcomes, the use of card media also enhanced students' attitudes and behavior during the learning process. The findings suggest that card media can serve as an alternative instructional model that may be further developed for other learning materials and contribute to improving the quality of instruction as well as the professionalism of elementary school teachers.

Abstract

The rapid progress of information and communication technology has fundamentally shaken the education system, including Islamic religious education (PAI), which for years has been attached to conventional teaching patterns. This article was prepared to examine how urgent the need is for reorienting the PAI curriculum towards digital literacy, as well as mapping the challenges and opportunities that accompany this process. Using a qualitative approach based on literature study, this research explores, compares, and assembles various relevant literature sources, ranging from journal articles, books, to education policy documents. The findings obtained confirm that reorienting the PAI curriculum towards digital literacy is no longer an option, but rather an urgent need to answer the character of digital native generation students; However, its implementation in the field is still hampered by a number of problems, including the gap in digital competence among teachers, the lack of infrastructure, the reluctance of some parties to move away from the old paradigm, the ethical and security vulnerabilities of religious content in cyberspace, the scarcity of truly credible digital teaching materials, and policy support at the educational unit level which is not yet strong enough.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwasannya proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia idealnya dapat menjadi wahana yang bermutu bagi peserta didik untuk menumbuhkembangkan kompetensi komunikatifnya. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui metode bermain peran (role playing) mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Lengkong Kecamatan Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini berbasis pada penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ialah penerapan metode bermain peran (role playing) terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas V SD Negeri Lengkong Kecamatan Tawang Kota Tasikmalaya pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami perkembangan secara bertahap pada setiap siklus tindakan. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 61 pada tahap prasiklus, menjadi 64,5 pada siklus I, 66,5 pada siklus II, dan mencapai 70 pada siklus III. Secara keseluruhan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 9 poin dari kondisi awal, yang menunjukkan bahwa tindakan yang diberikan mampu memperbaiki kemampuan berbicara siswa secara berkesinambungan. Kesimpulannya yaitu metode bermain peran layak diterapkan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara sekaligus membangun kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan komunikasi peserta didik

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars in shaping high-quality individuals and societies. One aspect that influences the success and quality of educational institutions is financial management. Thus, several issues arise in this study regarding the process of managing educational financing as well as the supporting and hindering factors in the implementation of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School in Tasikmalaya City. The objectives of this study are: to understand the management of educational financing and the supporting and hindering factors in the implementation of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School in Tasikmalaya City. This study employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To verify the validity of the data, the researcher uses technique triangulation and source triangulation. The research results indicate that the management of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School includes the following activities: financial planning activities at Al Muttaqin Senior High School involve the preparation of the School Budget Activity Plan (RKAS) and the development of the school financing budget. The implementation of educational financing includes the receipt and expenditure of funds. The sources of financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School come from the government, the foundation, and the school committee. Evaluation and accountability are carried out by the school to both internal and external parties. Some supporting factors in the management of educational financing at Al Muttaqin Senior High School include thorough planning and accurate allocation, stable student numbers, competent and experienced administrative staff, and a transparent and accountable reporting system. On the other hand, hindering factors include discrepancies between the education report achievements and the foundation, technical obstacles, and some students experiencing delays in monthly or annual payments.
