Abstract

This research aims to provide insights into the role of systems in transforming the operational business processes of the foundation. In the increasingly advanced digital era, integrated database systems have become a key infrastructure in the operations of various industrial sectors, including the education sector. The X Education Foundation in Bandung utilizes a database system to transform business processes and optimize efficiency in Human Resource (HR) management. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection methods in the form of systematically designed questionnaires using proportional purposive sampling techniques. The research results show that there has been a significant increase in terms of work time efficiency, ease of data input and processing, and the presentation of relevant information for decision-making based on objective data analysis results. This research will also provide guidelines and benefits for other Education Foundations related to the utilization of integrated database systems in better HR management.

Abstract

The marketplace is currently very loved by the community because using the marketplace facilitates the transaction process and with the marketplace people can choose the desired product or service directly from home. Therefore, with the high public interest in using this marketplace, Widya Store began to change its sales system to a marketplace to increase its sales volume. This study aims to find out how the influence of this Marketplace can have a very significant impact on sales volume and find out how to attract customers to the products sold on the Shopee Marketplace. The research method used is qualitative research using observation, interviews and literature studies. The results of this study found that the use ofthis marketplace is proven to be able to drive sales volume at Widya Stores by 35% inearly 2023.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI)-based approaches to risk management have shown great potential in supporting the achievement of sustainable development goals. AI provides the ability to detect, analyse and respond to risks much more effectively than traditional methods due to its ability to process data from multiple sources with high speed and accuracy. The integration of AI enables better identification of risk patterns, thereby increasing responsiveness and adaptability in addressing global challenges. However, the application of AI also requires attention to data quality, as well as the risk of algorithmic bias, which demands human oversight and deep ethical considerations. With the right management strategy, AI can play a key role in ensuring more efficient, equitable and inclusive sustainable development.

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in risk management offers a significant improvement in a company's ability to identify and handle risks more efficiently and accurately. AI enables in-depth and predictive data analysis, so that organisations can detect potential threats earlier and take proactive measures to mitigate them. The result is more efficient operations and more sustainable strategies. However, the successful implementation of AI in risk management requires employee training and the ethical use of this technology. With the right preparation, AI can play an important role in improving business sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

In an era of increasingly tight business competition, improving employee performance is crucial for the success of a company. One method that is being pursued to improve the quality and efficiency of business processes is the Six Sigma Method. The aim of this research is to explore and understand strategies for improving employee performance at PT Gothru Media Indonesia using the Six Sigma Method. This study used qualitative research methods. The data collection technique in this research is literature study. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the Six Sigma method can be used to improve employee performance at PT. Gothru Media Indonesia. Strategies that can be used include problem identification and definition, data measurement and analysis, solution development, solution implementation and monitoring and control. The application of the Six Sigma method needs to be carried out systematically and continuously to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Air Tak Berekening (ATR) masih menjadi isu strategis nasional karena berdampak langsung terhadap kualitas pelayanan, operasional, hingga pendapatan di PDAM. Perumdam Tirta Raharja menghadapi permasalahan yang sama dengan angka Air Tak Berekening (ATR) sebesar 27,16% pada kinerja tahun 2023 dan masih perlu terus diturunkan agar menjadi 25% sesuai target RPJMN 2025-2029. Berbagai teknologi operasi yang terintegrasi seperti SCADA, IoT dan GIS dalam pemantauan SPAM-Zona-DMA nampaknya masih belum memberikan efektivitas secara signifikan terhadap penurunan ATR. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengendalian Air Tak Berekening (ATR) melalui integrasi teknologi dengan pendekatan Lean Six Sigma dan Total Quality Management (TQM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif evaluatif dengan pendekatan gap analysis, yang difokuskan pada identifikasi kesenjangan antara target ideal dan kondisi aktual di lapangan. Metodologi ini juga diperkuat dengan kerangka kerja DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) sebagai dasar perbaikan proses, serta prinsip-prinsip Total Quality Management (TQM) yang bertujuan memperkuat budaya mutu organisasi sebagai penggerak utama dalam optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa upaya pembentukan District Metered Area (DMA) belum dapat dijadikan solusi mutlak dalam pengendalian ATR karena masih terdapat beberapa zona distribusi yang belum dilakukan pemantauan untuk mengidentifikasi zona prioritas ATR. Selain itu, sistem manajemen alarm berbasis teknologi yang telah dikembangkan belum sepenuhnya juga dioptimalkan sebagai alat mitigasi dan respons dini terhadap potensi kehilangan air. Padahal, sistem ini dirancang untuk memperkuat budaya kerja responsif terhadap kondisi operasional di lapangan. Oleh karena itu, integrasi antara pendekatan DMAIC dan penguatan budaya mutu menjadi elemen penting dalam mendukung pencapaian target kinerja utama (KPI) perusahaan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi organisasi dalam merancang dan menerapkan pengendalian ATR yang lebih efektif di lingkungan Perumdam Tirta Raharja.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of digital governance in modern organisations, focusing on identifying the challenges faced and the strategic solutions that can be applied. Digital governance is an important aspect in supporting organisational transformation towards efficiency, transparency, and accountability based on information technology. However, its implementation is not without various obstacles, such as infrastructure constraints, human resource readiness, cyber security, and suboptimal regulations. Through literature review and comprehensive analysis, this study outlines these challenges and formulates strengthening strategies that include technology investment, human resource capacity building, security policies, regulatory collaboration, and technological innovations such as artificial intelligence and big data. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical contributions as well as practical recommendations for organisations seeking to implement effective and sustainable digital governance.

Abstract

The development of information technology, especially the emergence of e-commerce, has fundamentally transformed the business paradigm worldwide, including in Indonesia. For retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the implementation of e-commerce is a strategic necessity to compete in an increasingly digital market. The Industry 4.0 revolution brings rapid and disruptive changes that will impact almost every industry. The introduction of e-commerce is an effort to mitigate the risk of bankruptcy for companies in the Industry 4.0 era. Before the emergence of e-commerce, retail relied on traditional business models, but with the advent of e-commerce, consumers can shop without geographical or time constraints. The use of e-commerce is increasing in Indonesia, and the value of transactions continues to rise. This phenomenon also affects the retail industry, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where offline sales declined, and many retail stores closed. The aim of this research is to analyze the financial performance of retail companies before and after the introduction of e-commerce on the IDX. A descriptive quantitative method is employed using secondary data from annual reports of retail companies. The analysis includes profitability, liquidity, operational efficiency, and business growth. The findings of this research provide insights to stakeholders, investors, management, and regulators, assisting retailers in optimizing e-commerce to enhance financial performance and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market. This is expected to provide strategic guidance

Abstract

A Value chain is one of the tools used to analyze competitive advantages and then be able to find ways to improve them. Retail is the final chain of distribution channels that bridges between producers and consumers in the sale of a product or service. Indostation is a retailer that will be the object of research. This Indostation is in Karawang Regency. The research method used is a descriptive method using data obtained through field observations, interviews and documentation. The results of this research analysis show that Indostation is advised to increase product variations, this will make it easier for customers to find the items they want, detail SOPs and provide the best service for customers

Abstract

Kepribadian introvert menjadi subjek yang semakin menarik dalam literatur psikologi organisasi karena potensi dampaknya dalam lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh kepribadian introvert dalam berbagai aspek proses bisnis, termasuk komunikasi, kerja tim, pengambilan keputusan, dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan individu yang memiliki kepribadian introvert di berbagai organisasi. Analisis data mengungkapkan bahwa individu dengan kepribadian introvert cenderung memiliki preferensi komunikasi yang lebih kontemplatif dan kurang dominan dalam situasi-situasi kelompok. Meskipun demikian, mereka juga menunjukkan kecenderungan untuk menyumbangkan ide-ide yang kreatif dan solusi yang inovatif saat diberikan kesempatan untuk berkontribusi dalam lingkungan yang mendukung. Namun, individu dengan kepribadian introvert mungkin menghadapi tantangan dalam kerja tim yang memerlukan komunikasi intensif dan kolaborasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya memahami dan mengelola keberagaman kepribadian dalam lingkungan bisnis. Organisasi dapat menggunakan temuan ini untuk mengembangkan strategi yang lebih efektif dalam mengelola tim dan individu dengan kepribadian introvert, sehingga dapat memanfaatkan potensi mereka secara optimal dalam mencapai tujuan bisnis yang lebih besar.
